Someone please get back to me with an answer…read more EXACTLY WHEN does fresh bread appear in your bakery? I got in at opening time on a Tuesday to get what I'd hoped would be fresh baked bread. I was sadly confronted with the same situation that's at my bakery two blocks away: No new bread, shelves sporting a tiny sprinkle of various loaves. I think there were literally like five or six loaves there, two of which were baguettes. There was no plain white or plain wheat. There was no challah, no brioche, no seeded loaves were out either. I reluctantly bought the last loaf of sourdough because I had to go home with SOMETHING. After I got home with a baguette and a sourdough loaf, I was annoyed. I'm pretty sure I bought yesterday's bread. I won't be back until someone can give me a guaranteed tome of day when I can actually get FRESH BREAD. To be fair: This has happened at another bakery in town as well. Arrive at opening, nothing on the shelves. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?. When is bread made around here??
