Always so good with fast service, great food and booth seating with ambient lighting. Better to come at night for sure. In the picture, it's a Monte Cristo, Eggs florentine, and egg Benedict !!!

Stayed at a hotel near the airport and located this place 2 blocks away. The ambiance was that of lounge, dim lighting, 1950s music in the background. With a full service bar getting action I felt like I stepped back in time. A decent crowd at 5 on a Sunday. Happy hour draws them in. Table next t to me was drinking and playing dominoes. Great place for people watching. Breakfast all day called my name. The veggie omelet was full if good stuff and loved the hearty portion of hash browns. Server was friendly and efficient.

The filet. Blah..somewhat fatty not very good. Mash potatoes were trash

This is a place you come too when it's late and all the other great places are closing at 10Pm or so. I ordered the filet and it was mediocre. The mash potatoes were also very mediocre. It's not horrible if they didn't charge you $65 for this. The live music on a Friday night was not that good either. The chocolate moose was horrible The service was very good though I will say.

Farmers omelette we ordered it to include cheese. It wasn't made as requested unfortunately.

My toast was burnt. Food was not as good as in the past. I ordered the Joes Special omelette with spinach. It wasn't made with care felt rushed.

I came here with a large group of alumni from my college. They unfortunately couldn't accommodate us since the restaurant was packed that day. Luckily they had a private room we could use at short notice so I really appreciated that. The waiters were great at taking our orders and very friendly. Unfortunately I was a bit let down by the food. I tried a few of the apps, and I think the Brussels sprouts were ok, but I didn't love the crispy shrimp. The fried zucchini sticks were not bad. I also had a glass of Rose wine that was good. Anyways, this place is just outside the airport and has a nice ambiance inside. So if you are in the area and need a bar and some food, it is ok. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat dinner here.

The hubby and I went to 13 Coins in SeaTac and had a great experience. For starters, our waitress was on top of it from the minute we sat down. I really appreciated her being honest when I asked her opinion about a few things on the menu. I always like when the staff will give a real answer instead of just saying everything is good. We got to sit at the counter, which I think is the best seat in the house. But this time we got even luckier because we got to sit toward the back of the counter where you can see the whole line in the kitchen. I've been to 13 Coins for years and somehow had never sat in those seats before, so I was pretty pumped about that. We started with a couple appetizers and they were both really good. The jalapeño steak bites were my favorite. So flavorful. We also had the fried zucchini, which I normally don't order, but these were done perfectly with a really nice crispy crust. My husband ordered the Wagyu bacon cheeseburger and I went with the Philly steak sandwich. Both were great. We also ordered garlic fries, which I had no idea they even offered. We watched the cook toss them with garlic and grated parmesan and they were so good!!! Side note for anyone who used to love the antipasto plate with the bread and butter. They still offer it, you just have to ask for it now. It used to automatically come out but now it's by request, which honestly makes sense. I'm guessing a lot of people were wasting it, but we definitely didn't waste ours.

Good day, Yelpies, There's something quietly remarkable about a restaurant that survives not just decades, but generations of changing tastes--and still manages to feel relevant. This establishment, which first opened its doors in Seattle in 1967 before relocating to Sea-Tac in 1976 under the guidance of the original owner's wife, carries with it more than just longevity--it carries legacy. Its name traces back to Lima, Peru, inspired by Las Trece Monedas--a folkloric tale of a humble young man who, armed with only thirteen coins, pledged unwavering love and devotion to win the heart of a wealthy man's daughter. It's a fitting origin story for a restaurant rooted in perseverance, passion, and heartfelt hospitality. Half a century later, those same values echo through every plate and every interaction. The menu delivers consistently satisfying fare, and the service operates with a rhythm that only comes from years of refinement. But perhaps most impressive is the sheer ambition of it all--executing quality food around the clock, 24 hours a day, is no small feat. It's the kind of operational endurance that deserves recognition on its own. Whether you arrive for breakfast at dawn, a late-night dinner, or anything in between, this is a place that meets you where you are--and feeds you well when you get there. Cheers --The Dutchman

1/23/2025 5pm dinner with my cousin ‼FOOD (5* ) no leftovers Our food was delicious and very tasty, we ate them all *Starter on the house, served of a veggie bowl with salami *Egg white veggie omelette, sourdough toast and hash brown * Satay mushroom, and zucchini *Parmesan chicken, chicken, and pasta Dessert: all were delicious Carrot cake Mango sorbet ‼SERVICE 5* Our server was very helpful, and attentive. Everyone was friendly and ‼AMBIANCE Cozy and comfortable Warm and Welcoming Convenient location right across from SeaTac Airport Parking is available right in the front ,but limited time, defending on the time of day.

Great ambience, great view! We had a breakfast when we were in Seattle for a vacation. Service was quick. Omelets were ok, hash brown was oily. Please remember they charge service fee of 4% which they don't show on your bill on their hand held payment device; you only see that after you add the tip/gratuity, they do that intentionally. The server keeps staring at the screen to see how much gratuity you are giving.

With a long layover at SeaTac, I crossed the street to 13 Coins--supposedly a Seattle institution. The place sits unassuming in a corporate building, but inside you'll find classic old-school booths that gave me hope for something good. I hit happy hour on a slow night, yet somehow service still dragged. I went for what seemed like safe bets: pepper beef and pesto clams. Being in Seattle, I figured the seafood would be a slam dunk. Wrong. The clams were aggressively overcooked--dry, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. The pesto itself had decent flavor and the crostini were fine, but when your star ingredient is that bad, nothing else matters. The pepper beef's creamy sauce tasted good (hard to mess up cream and pepper), but the beef quality was dismal and cut so thick it turned into a chewy workout for my jaw. Here's what really stings: I went back to the airport afterward and found genuinely better food at a terminal restaurant. When SeaTac is outperforming your "classic" Seattle spot, something's gone seriously wrong. 13 Coins might be trading on nostalgia and reputation, but the kitchen isn't backing it up. Save your time and money. There are too many great places in Seattle to waste a meal here.

We went here with our whole family, and the service was very good! I ordered a hot chocolate which was just Swiss miss in milk- not great. However, the steak and eggs were pretty good and very filling! I also tried the chicken and waffles, which were covered in maple bacon and were solid. We went in February, so it was very cold outside. The restaurant was also pretty cold, so I asked the server to turn up the heat, and she brought a heater to our table. I didn't catch her name but her birthday is in 2 days. Extra points to her.

A very short walk away from the Seattle airport, 13 Coins has real food at a reasonable price. I placed a take out order when my flight landed and it was ready by the time I walked over. It's around a 5 minute walk from the SeaTac airport light rail station, which is connected to the airport. It's a great option if you have a longer layover and don't mind going through airport security again. The interior was dark and moody and the bar seats looked really comfortable. The spaghetti with meat sauce was flavorful and the sauce was bright and on the acidic side. The bacon avocado turkey sandwich was standard and came with fries and a pickle spear. The avocado was fresh.

    Carrot cake. Yum!!!

I had to find a place to spend a few hours waiting for my husband to get off work to pick me up from a flight. I ended up choosing the best possible place. The food was good, my waitress was incredibly lovely (as were all the other employees I encountered), and I was comfy as can be tucked into a back corner. I was there for hours, and I was never forgotten about. They made me feel valued when I was worried I'd be a nuisance. I will definitely be back for a regular visit.

The lobster was unfortunately an overcooked, but everything else in the boil was so good that it made up for it. Speaking of the sauce -- it was SO good. We got to choose our sauce and spice level, and it had the perfect balance of flavor, spice, and heat without overpowering the seafood. It complemented everything really well. We also ordered the calamari. It was crispy, but the batter was a bit heavy and could've used more seasoning. Service was great -- our server was kind, attentive, and checked in on us regularly without being intrusive. They also offer combo meals, which I thought were a great value for the amount of seafood you get. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. If you're craving a seafood boil with customizable spice and solid portions, this spot is worth it!

This was, by far, the worst dining experience I've ever had…read more The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the popcorn crawfish appetizer with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill. I ordered a seafood boil with Manila clams and shrimp, and both were undercooked. The shrimp had that soft, mushy, almost translucent texture instead of being firm with the slight snap that properly cooked shrimp should have. Every bite was unpleasant, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The Manila clams were even worse. They were covered in a slimy coating that made them feel unappetizing the moment I picked them up. The texture alone was enough to make me stop eating them, but the taste was just as bad. Instead of tasting fresh, sweet, and briny, they had an unpleasant flavor that made me question whether they had been prepared properly. I couldn't finish them. To make matters worse, there were gnats flying around our booth throughout the entire meal, especially all along the booth panels where my cousin and I were sitting. It made the restaurant feel unclean and completely took away from the dining experience. When we brought the undercooked seafood to the manager's attention, we were given two options: they could take the food back and "put it back in the water" to cook it longer, or we could take it home and cook it ourselves in exchange for a discount. Since we had already started eating and didn't feel comfortable having our meal simply thrown back into the pot, we chose to take it home and finish cooking it ourselves. The "discount" ended up being just $10.99. For a meal that wasn't properly cooked and that I literally had to finish cooking at home, that resolution felt completely inadequate. I paid to dine at a restaurant, not to go home and prepare my own meal. On top of the food quality issues, the customer service was disappointing. There was very little effort to make the situation right, and the way the complaint was handled felt dismissive. I usually drive an hour to Captain Crab because I've always had consistently great experiences there. I decided to try somewhere different this time, and it was a mistake. This experience reminded me why I don't mind making the drive. I won't be returning.
