I had a pleasant stay at the Marriott Seattle Airport. The concierge room on the 9th floor was especially nice, with high ceilings that made it feel more spacious and comfortable. The executive lounge was a bit small, but it offered a good selection of beverages. Breakfast was somewhat limited, though it included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, and fresh fruit. It's a self-service lounge, so guests also clean up after themselves--which wasn't a problem, just something to be aware of. The gym was well-equipped, and the lobby was spacious, modern, and inviting. What really stood out was the staff--they were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again. We only stayed for one night but it would be an option for future since railway is walking distance to get to. read more

The hotel sits just a few minutes away from the airport, saving you from a long shuttle commute. They have an airport shuttle that leaves every 15minutes. If you are looking to get picked up from the airport to the hotel, the hotel shuttle picks you up from area 1B or 3B. The room I had on the first floor was modern and spacious. Their bar area serves pretty good food and has a wide option of drinks to include local craft IPAs. I didn't get a chance to check out their actual restaurant, but if you prefer a more formal sit down environment they have that option as well. read more

I rarely write reviews, but I feel I need to share my experience because this stay was extremely disappointing. We chose this Marriott specifically because we needed a comfortable and peaceful place to rest for one night before catching our flight the next morning. Unfortunately, the one thing we needed most--a quiet and comfortable night's sleep--was exactly what we did not get. I was traveling with my baby and specifically requested a quiet room or a quieter floor. Instead, we were placed on the first floor, where there was constant noise throughout the night and into the morning. We could hear people talking, laughing, and moving around, making it nearly impossible for my baby or me to sleep. The room itself was not particularly comfortable or relaxing, and overall, the hotel did not feel welcoming or accommodating, especially for a family traveling with a young child. While I understand that amenities vary by property and membership level, the overall experience simply did not feel like the level of comfort, hospitality, or accommodation I expected from a Marriott. We came here for one simple reason: to get a peaceful, comfortable night's rest before an early flight. Unfortunately, after a long trip, neither my baby nor I were able to sleep properly because of the noise and the lack of consideration for our request for a quiet room. I truly expected much better. This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have had, and I would not choose this property again if a peaceful and restful stay is important to you. read more

I was reminded why we've never booked this hotel before because we usually travel with our dogs, so we tend to stay at other Marriott properties nearby that are pet friendly. For this trip, though, we did not have the pups and had a painfully early flight, so we decided to stay close to the airport the night before. It's actually a really nice place. Check in was smooth and welcoming, and the front drive experience was great. I think the person who helped us at the front drive was named Ratchet (apologies if I'm getting that wrong), the only guy out front on New Year's Eve. With a full service Marriott, you generally know what you're getting, an updated, very clean room. One thing that stood out here was that the rooms have hardwood floors, which was interesting and a bit unexpected. Some of the rooms face inward toward the interior of the building. We had dinner and drinks at Aqua Terra, and it was definitely worth it. Our server, Jone, was excellent and made great recommendations. The airport shuttle was a huge plus. It runs every 15 minutes, and they have several shuttles going, which made the early morning departure way less stressful. Overall, a solid choice if you are looking for a convenient airport hotel, especially if you have an early flight or your flight gets delayed and you suddenly need a place to stay. read more

Love this place, only stayed here twice and about 5 nights total. Great gym, lots of equipment and room to work out. The bar has good TV viewing with multiple screens. The food at the bar is prepared by the adjacent restaurant and the bar is a better venue in my opinion. Quick access to the SeaTac terminal and rental car return. read more

If you are planning a trip to Seattle to catch a cruise ship, I suggest this Marriott. The food is good, the manager and staff will be sure you are pleased. The cost to take a cab to cruise terminal is great. It's far safer than being in Seattle. We no longer go into Seattle, it's too dangerous, and has been taken over by undesirables. My wife and I booked a one-night stay at the Seattle Airport Marriott on our wedding night before flying out the next morning. Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing end to our special day turned into a terrible experience. At around 2:00 a.m., the fire alarm went off, forcing everyone to evacuate. The situation was chaotic, and after standing outside for about 30 minutes, a firefighter finally informed us it was a false alarm. Throughout the ordeal, no one at the front desk could provide any information, and once it was safe to return, the hotel never made an announcement or apologized to guests. At checkout, I explained how disappointing the experience had been and asked if there was any form of compensation. The hotel manager offered 10% off parking, which amounted to just $4. Considering the circumstances, it felt more insulting than accommodating. I would not recommend staying here. There are several nicer, more affordable hotels near the airport that likely provide much better customer service. read more

Not much around this airport except the airport. Lack of food options around. The room was ok? Smell, window to the parking lot. The bed was really hard I hardly slept. Not very many amenities. There's a cafe with some Starbucks options but didn't look appetizing. They have microwave outside in the lobby and plastic utensils if you bring your own food. It has a mini fridge so highly recommend you get food. Since it's near the airport you won't have trouble getting an uber. read more

I've stayed here many times both for work and while traveling personally. The location near the airport is great for a stopover if heading west and just as good if you have a 6:00am flight home because you refuse to take a "red eye". Despite this property really showing its age, I'll continue to stay here due to the location, totally comfortable clean rooms, great front desk staff and one of the better concierge lounges I've encountered. I checked in while in flight to Seattle allowing us to go right to our room with my phone as the room key. That was a good move because we arrived at a busy time and there was quite a line at the front desk. We had planned to go out to dinner but stopped at the concierge lounge first. Offerings there were so good we decided to stay at the hotel and eat for free! Morning breakfast was just as good. I especially like the lounge attendants evening and morning who are out there interacting with guests and keeping the food choices well stocked. Like I mentioned above, if we were visiting Seattle, sightseeing or some other activity, we likely would have stayed elsewhere. Otherwise, this is our property of choice even traveling through Seattle or returning home. read more

I've stayed here a couple of times. I'm planning on this being the hotel I stay at when I have a flight going in/out at odd hours in the future. The bed was comfortable both times. Also, I'm a light sleeper and generally get woken up every time a neighbor closes their door but nothing woke me up. I didn't hear anything at all. LOVE the phone charger combo alarm clock. Dealing with cords to charge all the things in/out during a trip is annoying. Being able to just set my phone on the charging pad and not have to find the cord was refreshing. Rooms were well stocked and cleaned very well both visits. Also, the front desk was easy to deal with, even when there was a long line. Valet parking is available, which I chose over self-parking due to the hill and having a few items to drag inside. Only feedback I have is that I booked my stays through my work travel agency, and I was asked to provide my employee badge on one of my stays. I've never been asked to prove I work somewhere when checking into a hotel. I didn't have it with me and showed them my business card instead. Then I got asked for my work email and how to spell my name - both are on the business card. read more

Kind of run down with old uninviting interior. 9:15am no coffee and no scrambled eggs and nobody is interested to serve more. Not sure why I am keeping my platinum card anymore. We stayed one night after flying in to get on a cruise the next day. Hotel is very close to the airport and complimentary shuttle service was provided. Check in was easy. We had two rooms, one was a suite and this review is for that room only. Room was clean and spacious with everything you need while traveling. The bathroom has a frosted glass enclosure making it light up the room when bathroom lights are on. It also has a barn style door so bathroom door doesn't fully secure. If you want total bathroom privacy do not expect it in this room. Our traveling companions reported their bathroom had regular walls and door. We purchased the breakfast buffet in the morning. It was quite expensive, but the staff service made it worth while. Excellent service! They went above and beyond. Our server noticed I wasn't eating much (I am vegan and not many options were available) she came over and asked if I wanted some sliced avocado. So thoughtful and the avocado hit the spot! I visited this property at the end of a business/leisure stay in the Seattle area. It's very conveniently located near SeaTac International Airport. Those are the high points. The property is old and is in need of an update. Guest rooms are a bit weird with a see-through wall on the back of the shower; well it's actually opaque so there's some privacy, but you can still see shadows of whoever is washing up in the bathroom. Weird. Parking is horrible at this location. There simply isn't enough space for the business here. I think they may sell spaces for airport parkers but I had to walk what felt like a half-mile to get to the hotel after finally reaching an available space. Reasonable room for the money but I think I'd rather stay further away from the airport to avoid the congestion. read more

Used their paid parking lot while taking a quick trip. The price is reasonable considering how much parking fees and park and fly type lots cost. There was a little confusion on what do to when we arrived which required we ask a parking attendant. There were limited spots which made me wonder what happens if you've paid for a spot but none exist. We would utilize this method of park and fly again. The shuttle to the airport was pretty easy. The wait for someone to take us to the airport was about 15 minutes and the pickup took less than 5 minutes on the way back to the hotel. The drivers both were nice and friendly making this a nice experience. read more

‼AN EPIC DISASTER!!! As someone who stays in hotels 4-5 nights a week across the United States, this has to be one of the saddest examples of a Marriott property. They do not have ANY food or drink available. There is zero shop access at the front desk at 11pm. I arrived off my flight and expected the hotel to have SOMETHING. Is there no brand standard at Marriott to provide at least a selection of soda or protein bars? There is no shop at the front desk to buy pre-packaged food or drink. I should've read the other reviews for this property before booking. I guess I will survive without food and drink water out of the water fountain. No vending machines either. They charge $10 for parking. I called the front desk at the hotel and AI talked to me... and sent me a text to call the front desk. It turns out that number was out of service. My husband pointed out that some of the design elements are anachronistic and a bit haphazard, but the rural cabin vibe was a nice one considering we were so near the airport. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom was roomy. It seems like things were well maintained or recently refreshed. The room was very clean. The shuttle runs between the airport and the hotel every fifteen minutes, 24/7. I was able to use my mobile device and the Marriott app for contactless check-in, to identify and be able to enter my room. While there is no pool, the hotel does boast numerous conference rooms, a generous courtyard for events, a fitness room, a tropical sitting area, vending machines with snacks, drinks, and other sundries courtesy of CVS, an on-site restaurant (Aqua Terra) as well as room service, available until midnight. Some of the service has been hit or miss, but I can tell the staff really tries their best. After a vending machine snafu earlier today, the on-staff engineer was dedicated to resolving the issue. Arrived in Seattle for a 2-night stay for the BCAN summit. Very easy to get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Easy and friendly check in. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. The only negative thing I have to say is that the rooms (at least my room) didn't have enough light. Either needed brighter lamps or an overhead light. Housekeeping was very friendly and efficient and checkout went smoothly. Big kudos to the catering team. Good meals and snacks, empty bowls were replaced with full bowls in a timely manner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a happy hour during our stay. Was not impressed with the wine choices. Why no Washington state wines? Hotel within walking distance of the lite rail. My stay on 3/25 - 3/26 was generally okay. The airport shuttle to the hotel was timely, and the check-in process was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the concierge lounge was not open at all during Saturday afternoon-evening and the food offered there on Sunday morning was only the very basic hot items (scrambled eggs, link sausage, toast, oatmeal, juice and coffee). My biggest issue with this hotel was the Sunday morning shuttle service back to the airport. I arrived in the lobby at least 5 minutes before the shuttle was scheduled to depart back to SeaTac airport and the shuttle driver had already taken off. This caused me to have to book a last-minute Uber ride to the airport (causing me to incur $13 of additional expense). read more

The location is conveniently located by the airport. The shuttles run every twenty minutes from the hotel although when we were waiting to be picked up at the airport it took longer. Parking is $28 a day. The bathroom in our room had great lighting, and the shower had wonderful water pressure. The room overall was dark in my opinion. There is no overhead or recessed lighting, and at times I felt like I was in a dungeon. The art headboard was cool, and there was a cordless phone charger on the clock, but it doesn't charge fast. All in all not a bad stay, but if you're planning on renting a car don't get it until you're ready to head out! read more

Just arrived first time staying in this hotel. We landed at 8am it is now 10:03am and we haven't been picked up by the shuttle. Directory says the shuttle bus number is 31. When I called in the lady I spoke to said the shuttle bus number should be 1 or 2, then we see #2 driving pass us not stopping at all like all the other shuttle buses. I called the hotel to notify them of this inconvenience, and she says we have to wave at the shuttle bus to stop it. How are we suppose to know that when all the other buses are stopping. On top of that it's freezing cold, and raining. Lazy employees not doing their job. read more

** POST-COVID REVIEW ** Stayed here for one night after a late night flight to Seattle. We did not have to wait for the shuttle as it was right there in the waiting space (not sure if this is always the case but I won't complain). The shuttle ride is short and check in was a breeze, although it was late at night. They also gave us breakfast vouchers for their restaurant, which I appreciated. They also have a coffee maker in the room. The room itself isn't bad but we have this long hallway when you first walk in that seems like a waste of space with just the closet. Lots of tech in the room including a wireless charger, which was nice. The shower head had multiple water modes if that's your thing. There's also a nice indoor central area to hang out in if the weather isn't nice. There's a fake waterfall that's nice and calming to listen to. Overall this was a decent hotel for just a night and very close to SEA. read more

I used to stay at this hotel regularly when visiting my hometown. This place has gone through changes throughout the years. The check-in process was professional and formal. The room was upgraded with a view on a quiet floor. The fitness center had a facelift over the past decade, new machines in place with selectorized machines for several body parts. The concierge lounge on the 8th floor was decent for evening appetizers and desserts. The only issue was the cable network for the TV in the room. Premium channels as Showtime was not working and timed out during the stay. A late checkout was requested and given during the stay. I would return here in the near future. read more

This Marriott is very convenient to get to because of it's close proximity to the airport. It has a stylish modern decor. Everyone practices social distancing. There's hand sanitizing stations provided around the hotel and all staff & visitors wears masks. It felt very safe during my stay. I really like their beautiful lobby with glass ceiling, which yields plenty of natural lighting. There's many common areas with ample seating, where different groups can relax, while social distancing. The gym is open and cleaned daily. They used to have a huge swimming pool, but have now covered it to make an open convention space. The hotel's restaurant, Aqua Terra, offers delicious and healthy meal options for the visitors. Mostly it's pick up orders, but they do allow limited dine in. The room was very clean. The bed was soft and comfortable to sleep in. I enjoyed the couch by the large windows and the convenient workspace. The bathroom was bright, with modern designs. Would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Seattle! read more

So remember folks there's a worker shortage when it comes to those in the service industry. BUT at the Marriott near the Seattle airport, they're all working together, so yes it might take a little bit to get checked in, be waited on, but the service is still top notch. Check in took a minute, but it all went smoothly. The room was clean, comfy beds, all the amenities you need. We arrived later in the day & too tired to look around for a place to eat, so we ate at their restaurant. The food was yummy; had the crab cakes & the kiddo had the veggie pasta dish. The crab cakes were nicely seared, well seasoned & the salad it came with was just scrumptious. The kid must have enjoyed the veggie pasta, it was gone when I looked over. Oh and don't forget the desserts: one divine apple tart, served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, oh my & nothing was left. This is a large property; the pool that once was in the center is no more, it makes for a great open space if by chance you're looking for a wedding spot; along with multiple meeting rooms if your looking to host a conference. There's mold on many ceiling tiles... it seemed like a nice hotel, there's 2 restaurants, a full bar, nice service for dining and drinking, an entire lobby / lounge area when you check in with a fireplace and sitting area as well as a courtyard to hangout, but the mold was a dealbreaker for me. I contacted the hotel and their management company due to charge holding issues. They first held my entire 7 night stay, then daily they would hold a daily stay charge. The initial front desk agent (Bruna) was horrible. She said the holds were not bad because they were not charges. I explained these were not approved holds. She was rude. When I asked for the manager and GM's card she only gave the one for the manager. She never placed the card in my hand but blatantly placed it on the counter. I asked what that was and then asked for the GM again...she decided she no longer wanted to help me and walked away. Before that she told me I could sit and wait for someone to come talk to me. Before retreating to my room I had wasted about 20 minutes and no manager. Roger finally reached out and felt he found a way to stop the hotel from over holding on my credit card daily. He promised to follow up, but never did. This was a horrible stay and one where I was not treated nicely. read more
