This poker establishment is located along Highway 167. When I went on a Friday morning, there were three 1-3 NL tables active. When I returned in the afternoon, there were five tables running 1-3 NL. Parking is notoriously hard to find since they have a tiny parking lot. Additionally, the furniture and restrooms inside could use some updating. The food here is great. Usually places with such diverse menus, have menus filled with "subpar" item after the next. NOT HERE! You'd think a kitchen that serves: Mexican, Chinese, Vietnamese, continental, Italian and breakfast all day may have mastered one cuisine, or possibly none. Possibly jack of all cuisines. This hypothesis would've held true until eating here. Now, they're no 5 star. So I won't say they've aced every cuisine but they are queens and kings at their worst. Not too shabby for a menu consisting of more than 80 dining options!!! I've tried roughly half of their menu and my biggest complaint was my plate sat for a long time and food was dry and cold. Was brought another dish 15 minutes later that knocked my socks off. Not my feet, but my sock shelf at home! My next biggest complaint was from their drink menu. I'm a bit of a prude when it comes to juice, drinks and really anything I ingest. The juices they have available (orange, cranberry, grapefruit, pineapple and tomato) are much too acidic, tart and sugar dense. Not sure there was actually any "real juice" in any of my drinks and Would love if they used real juice. If you are an out of towner looking for some poker action, this place has the most consistent action in the Seattle Metro area. The NL games are 1/3 or 3/5. I cut my teeth at Commerce Casino so I'm familiar with how a well run poker room is suppose to operate. Having said that, here is a more detailed breakdown: - Dealers: Most are decent and keeps the game moving along at a good clip. They'll be dealng cards one minute, passing you chips in another and playing with you in an hour. The dealers are pretty familiar with how players play and will usually eek out a couple hundred before they leave. It's a pity, because LA dealers don't have to do that to make money (we're way better tippers). - Action: Lame, most of the players you see are locals who play a very boring game. Observe a couple rounds and you'll figure out their play. The table needs a real loose player to make it 1/2 interesting, which was rare in the 40 hours I played there. - Floor: Not the brightest folks in the room. - Service: Food and beverages are served by the same girls. The service itself is straight garbage and most of them wouldn't survive a month in the LA poker scene. Frankly speaking, the girls might be a "Seattle 8", but they're "LA 6s" all day. Trust me, our drink girls are prettier and work harder. - Food: Decent, no real complaints. TL:DR - If you come from an area with a big poker scene, be prepared to be disappointed. read more
