The restaurant is very clean, the waitress was super nice, she was also alone so I hope she had a decent night. The food was AMAZING. It's rare I come here but I never had a bad experience.

Portions are generous so hopefully you're very hungry or be prepared to bring plenty home. I was only able to eat half of my food and brought the other half home and my sandwich seemed better the next day which isn't always the case when you bring things home!! First off, the place is very nice looking - feast your eyes on the photos. Angled windows in front, nice table spaces, art at every table, a nice oil candle, and good enough lighting that you can read the menu without wrecking the intimate nature of a booth. The menu (photos attached) is loaded with good stuff. For an appetizer, we selected their Imperial American Wagyu Filet Carpaccio, which came with thinly sliced Wagyu Filet, topped with black truffle, king crab, kaluga caviar, panna grattato, and other tasty stuff. It was served on a white plate with bread, and was incredibly tasty. My wife ordered their Lobster Linguini (on the bill) or Linguini Aragosto on the menu. She enjoyed it very much, and even took some home. On the other hand, I went with their Butcher's Butter Spinalis which was a Ribeye Cap. It was very tender, very tasty, nicely seasoned and cooked as requested at medium rare temperature. With that, we ordered their Rosemary Potatoes, which were "family sized" (enough for two or three) and tasted great. We closed out with a cannoli which was two-sided with two different end preps, which was excellent. To work with all this, I needed a wine which would work for the seafood and the meat, so I selected a Grosjean Pinot Noir, which worked great with both. Service was very very very good - regular checks, food timing was good with each part coming out with enough time to easily finish it before the next course came out. Our waitstaff Ashley kept us watered, and even removed the cork from the wine using a wine key while standing. Nicely done! This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion, or just to go for a nice, relaxed meal. They do store their wine horizontally (like you are supposed to, see the picture) and keep it out of the sun. They also have a deli on the west end with reduced hours, so if you want something I'd suggest going there before you arrive so you don't miss it.

It sits across some new apartments/condos and in a center with a Starbucks and another popular restaurant called Hardware. The parking lot is very large and shared with Hardware and a garden with greens is nearby and used for dishes. The restaurant also has a deli and pizza to go area connected to it. Nice decor inside and ambiance. We snagged a table on the patio which is rather large and completely covered by the extended building and not a thin umbrella. It was very nice . Great attentive staff and waitress. We started with sushi. It was really good but overpriced for 2 pieces of red snapper and tuna sushi each. 2 for $12. But it was good. My husband had fried clams and a salad. He loved them both. For his entree he had the flank steak medium rare with potatoes and veggies. I tasted it as well and it was all great. I would have given this place a 5 but my dish, which was the oxtail pasta, was unimpressive and really quite bland. My husband's selection was far better. And he raved about his desserts, yes 2! He had the apple streusel there and cannolis to go but he didn't wait to leave to try the cannolis. He love Italian food and said the cannolis were the best he's ever had! And he ate all of the streusel. So my thought is this place is perfect for a special occasion or a date night but remember it's on the pricey side. I would come again and often for dessert and save the dinner for a special day.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The atmosphere is dimly lit (which I love), clean, lots of wood and leather everywhere. It's spacious but also cozy. On to the food.. my favorites have been the butterfish and the trout. This last time I got a pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp was really good right off the grill as were the gnocchi but it was kind of swimming in an oily sauce. I expected it to either be creamy or lightly coated pasta, instead of a pool of pesto and oil. The sauce didn't really stay on to the gnocchi because it was so thin. I used my extra pita bread to sop it up. The artichoke with hummus appetizer is also tasty. My friend got the lamb shank (chops?) and she also enjoyed her meal. The espresso martini was good but it had like a chunky shaved chocolate or something on the rim which was unnecessary and made it kind of hard to drink. We haven't tried any desserts yet but they look amazing. It was about $150 for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer. I couldn't afford this regularly but it's a nice treat every now and then.

We were there for longer than TWO hours. TWO HOURS. Most of that time WAITING on service. The bread and pesto that comes complementary... delicious. We also ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp. Also pretty good. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The bass was seasoned and made pretty great. The asparagus that came with it also very good. I ordered the Au Gratin Potatoes. This portion is shareable and incredibly cheesy. My husband ordered the Filet and Lobster Ravioli. The asparagus. Good. The Ravioli. Good. The steak came over done. They did redo it AND his whole meal. Which was so nice. But that took TIME. Again. We were there TWO hours. We also added lobster tails to each meal. This would've been better if I had eaten it first when it was still hot but that's on me. The women's bathroom was in need of much attention. Gross. There is a lot for parking. Would I go back? Sure. If I'm not paying. The food is decent. The service is LACKING. But perhaps it would be better on a different day... service is EVERYTHING to me. I've stated this on multiple reviews.
