Im only giving this Resteraunt a Bad Review because My husband and I come here verry frequently. Normally the owner is Very Nice But this time was different. I felt verry applaud as if I was back in the 60"s , I called This waitress Named ULGA twice as she walked pass my table so i could order a Sprite, she totally ignores me so i lightly tapped her arm to get her attention and she looked at me and then looked at her arm as if she was in discuss of me touching her. I explained i only wanted a sprite and im sorry for touching you, which i shouldn't have.She looks and gives no response but bring the sprite. As a Waitress you should NEVER TREAT A CUSTOMER AS IF THEY SHOULDN'T BE in The establishment that is NOT YOURS this was my first Bad experience like that in life at a resteraunt and Unfortunately i will NOT PATRONIZE THEM FOR A WHILE. Everything was up to par, from the food to service. The food was very tasty and fulfilling, nice portions too

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A very cute diner, the inside is retro and quaint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of us ordered eggs, hash browns and toast. It was all prepared perfectly. I ordered the waffle combo. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. Bacon was cooked nice and crispy. I added pecans to the waffle and it was amazing. We sat for a bit and enjoyed the coffee and company. Service was excellent and waitress was friendly and quick. We will be back! read more

This place is really good. The new owners are girls that used to waitress at another place. I'm impressed with their ambition . The soup is always fabulous, homemade. The staff is very friendly . The food is good and the menu is quite extensive. I wish them great success. Omg Silver Flash hit it out of the park again! We ordered carry out for our Thanksgiving meal that came with all the trimmings and pie! All the food was fresh and delicious. Kudos to the cooks! I went here with my friend for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Firat of all, the restaurant is SOOO CLEAN! And very nicely decorated. Very cute restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and had chicken rice soup. Honestly, the chicken rice soup was probably the best chicken rice soup that I've ever had. The flavor was excellent! The fettuccine alfredo was really very good. Lots of flavor. I was very impressed with Silver Flash. The service was fantastic. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess with a smile and a welcome. The dining area was clean and inviting. We did notice at each table there are place settings wrapped in red cloth napkins. That stands out because generally Breakfast restaurants do not use cloth napkins. Not sure if that is all the time or if it is an afternoon change (we stopped in after during the afternoon.) During a conversation with the hostess we found out the restaurant has a New Owner and they have recently made changes. We also found out the hours have also changed so they are open until 8PM some evenings. The menus we received were breakfast menus and were extensive. Because it was afternoon we asked if they had lunch a lunch menu. The hostess said they currently did not have new ones however did bring an old menu. The menu was extensive as well. The waitress came over after a few minutes of us getting the other menu and was pleasant. I'd ordered off the breakfast menu because the Catfish breakfast caught my eye. My Mom ordered from the lunch menu. I must say when in a restaurant one of my things is to check the facilities which is also a give away as to how management has a standard of maintenance. The restroom was clean and had a refreshing fragrance and there was warm to hot water. That is a very good sign because it shows that hygiene is a priority in the establishment. Before the food arrived I asked for both menus again just to get a better look. It was observed that the lunch comes with a soup however the waitress did not bring the soup until a minute or two before our food arrived. The waitress apologized and said she'd forgotten. We did notice the lunch order was incorrect as well. There was cheese on the burger which was ordered as just a hamburger and there were no grilled onions as requested with the burger. The waitress did offer to take it back however Mom said she would go ahead and eat it. I'll share about my meal. The catfish and eggs in looking at the portion size the filet was pretty small (there is an option for another filet on the menu for an additional cost-which is not really budget friendly especially considering the cost of the meal). The food was seasoned nicely and tasted good. Both parties did enjoy our meals and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We did see there is a Dessert display near the hostess stand and had decided to purchase to go (we should have checked the price per slice). My overall impression was although the price point was not expected for the location it is not as unusual during the inflationary times. (Because there are establishments near my home (over30 miles away) in the same or similar price range). However because of the ambiance we will come back when in the area. For those who enjoy eating outside there is Patio seating and with the area is fenced off it looks like it gives an intimate feel. read more
