This place takes no accountable for their fuck up. I order a Skirt Steak medium well and got a well done steak. The owner said he does redo/replace steaks. Thats not my problem. It was on the ticket and your cook didn't cook it correctly. And all the owner had to say was the request was a preference that he doesn't have to accommodate. If I'm paying for a meal, I wanted it prepared the way I requested. I didn't eat the steak due to the texture. I was discounted 5.00 for a fuck up they made. We finally were in town again and got a chance to dine in to see what this restaurant was all about. I've had takeout from the establishment before and it was delicious, so I wanted to see how the service was. The gentleman at the front when you come in was polite, and friendly. He walked us to our booth and sat us. Our server Cheryl came over and took our order, she was friendly and helpful. We knew what we wanted so my fiance and I both ordered the turkey skillet and I had mine with wheat bread and the eggs over medium. I loved how the inside looked, it wasn't dirty or looked like it wasn't well maintained. The food came out and just like I remembered with my takeout it was delicious. Our server came over to check on us several times and always greeted us with a smile. I also want to point out that they have plenty of parking which is hard to find at a good restaurant. I also like how well-maintained the bathroom was. We will definitely return as I feel there are so many other items on the menu that I would like to try. Went in for a quick breakfast and coffee. Was greeted promptly and sat in a large dining are with table and booths. Table had well stocked condiments (sugars, jellies, creamers, hot sauce and ketchup). Don't always see that these days. Very large menu and also a page of "specials". My meal arrived fast. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon with the right amount of crisp. I had the French toast and it was a little dry and bland. Not sure I would order it again. They also offered hot syrup. This was so hot that I had to use a napkin to hold it. May not be good at a table with small children to reach for or spill. Overall prices were reasonable and the service was quick. read more

Customer service is TERRIBLE, I called in and ordered my food and my coworker went to pick it up, i was confused on how my total was so high and noticed a side of avocado is almost $4... My coworker is sitting on the phone with me as I hear the lady say $30.60, so I sent my coworker that exact amount, just for them to say "we dont take partial amounts" my coworker was just as confused because we are paying what you said, I told my coworker to send me a receipt and it says $30.65. They refused to give me my food even though the worker messed up, and now I cannot get my money back until 24-72 hours. The hostess asked how many, and then just walked off - tossed the menues on the booth table in the back and walked off before we were even seated. STRIKE 1! For the place it's good food. Big portions for a fair price especially in today economy. The service is superb compared to any spot in the area including the McDonald's and ihop. I love going during the week to pick up my breakfast and on my kids bdays they enjoy the calm atmosphere because on a weekday most people are just picking up so it isn't too overly simulating for them. My wife and I ordered the Turkey omelette with Turkey sausage, Turkey bacon, green pepper, avocado, and onion. Also came with the raisin bread (which was a bit burnt), hash browns and side of grits (they were a bit soupy). Back Story: My guy orders a steak medium well.. Steak comes out well done!! Now keep in mind he never complains and just deals with it!!!! So he told the waitress whom was extremely nice by the way! She comes back with options!! Option A: Keep the well done steak and they will take $4.00 off of it!! Option 2: They can make another steak but he has to pay for it.. My guy who never complains said just make me another one and I will pay for it! New steak comes out RARE/RAW.... At this point he is mad! They said they will take $4.00 off the new steak! He asks the waitress, is this a joke? At this point he doesnt want to send it back to cook longer (natual human feeling of scared they will spit in the steak). He didnt eat any of his food at all! He was DONE DONE!! I was already mad because why on earth would a BUSINESS make a customer pay for a steak and it was their cooks error!? I get money is important for a business but me personally, I would rather make it right with my customer so that you will return. But obviously the owner John doesn't give a care!!!! He asks for the manager and a lady comes over calming to be the manager walks over and was also extremely nice and said they will take the 2nd steak off but he has to pay for the steak they messed up! The owner never showed his face to us. Matter of fact, I only know the owners name is John because a regular is sitting next to us and tells us his name and agrees that if its their error we shouldnt have to pay for the steak! So my guy grabs the baby and all of our stuff and goes to the car.......I then realized he grabbed my purse which had is wallet inside of it!!! So i go outside to get the money to pay for this food. This place is down the street from my hometown and I've been coming here since high school. It's definitely above average for a small mom and pop restaurant. I'm in love with the Potato Benedict: HUGE potato pancakes with ham, poached eggs and yummy hollandaise sauce. I've gotten the pancakes and French toast to share before, and the portions do not disappoint. This place will always have a special place in my heart honestly. It's always packed in here and there is actually a waiting period unless you just need a table for two. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. It used to be my after church brunch spot so be warned: If you show up at 10 am or 1 pm, you will most likely be waiting outside due to the after service rush. Now that I am not local to the area, I realize that there is another option to get my "Big Apple" fix. You can call and order your food to go. They usually have even the biggest orders ready to go within 20 minutes of your call. The only less than fun part about this restaurant is the wait and the waiting area. Inside the door are some chairs for those waiting to get seated and eat but the line near the register has mere feet to exist. And the line is a mixture of guests trying to pay for their table's bill and carryout customers trying to pick up their meals. More than often, the line blocks the door and creates a fire hazard situation. I really don't know that they can do anything about it. And it is definitely a compliment to be so busy!
