If I were able to rate higher than 5 stars I would. The guys over at Silver Lake Collision wasted no time with fixing my car. My car was hit on my passenger side, and though the damage was minimal the labor hours were pretty crazy (49 labor hours working 4 hours a day on my car). I had been informed that my car wouldn't be ready until 07/06/2015 when I turned it over to them 06/17/2015. When my car got sideswiped on the freeway I hadn't the faintest clue where I would end up taking it for repairs. After the chaos of sorting out insurance, I'd honestly hoped they would just tell me where to go and I wouldn't have to worry about it. Their suggested location was 20 minutes away and had 1.5 stars on Yelp. Nope! I walk past this place every day, I live a block away. I gave them a look on Yelp and would you look at that, 5 stars! I hope to not be in the situation to have to return anytime soon, but I'm so glad I ended up here. Everyone was really nice, they did all of the arguing with the insurance so I didn't have to do a thing. I seriously dropped my car off, and walked a block home. That's it. They called me twice to give me updates on what was going on, and they even cleaned inside before I got my car back. If you had seen my car before, you'd know what a treat this was. I got into 3 accidents within a 2 year period and this place was my favorite by far! I hope this is the same place because when I went there they were on Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake and had a Progressive estimate office on premises. My car was ready in 4 days for some relatively bad damage, and I never had to call them because they called to keep me updated and also called the day before the car was scheduled to be ready just to let me know that "yes it will be ready". I also went back because I was confused by my car's adaptive headlights, thinking it was malfunctioning, and they were very friendly, professional, and knowledgable; they took their time thoroughly looking into my concern, hooking up diagnostic computers and calling friends at dealerships. I was rear-ended and was referred to Silver Lake Collision Center by my insurance company. I drive an Audi and it did not even had a dot on it. I was heartbroken because I love my car and it was damages. These guys took my car in the same day and returned it to me in a few days. When I saw my car, I was wowed. So I was in a car accident in August 2015 and looked around on the internet for places open on weekends. I found this and called them. They fixed the car in about two weeks; however, I've had issues with my air conditioner and they've attempted to fix it twice and the third time they told me they would order the part. That was about five months ago and I have no air conditioning in my car. They tried to say it wasn't part of the accident and that it was caused by something else. My air conditioner was fine before the accident. Anyway they haven't fixed the air conditioner and haven't called me back. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. Yeah they fixed the car but what about the air conditioner. Also they had their mechanics fix it twice but the pump went out (according to Them). They couldn't even get the air conditioner right the first time. Don't go. Take your business elsewhere. read more
