Easy to schedule and good communication leading up to the appointment. Kevin was wonderful and helpful. I expected to need my chimney cleaned as the home was a newer purchase and other aspects of the house needed major repairs and renovation. Kevin very politely told me that it was actually pretty clean and walked me through the ins and outs of proper chimney maintenance and best practices to avoid smoke from leaking out of the fireplace. He provided a visual inspection of the interior and exterior chimney and fireplace, oiled the sliding guard as it stuck in a few places and explained which wood was best for burning. I contacted Kevin because the fireplace in our house had only been used once-- fifteen years ago. I had been bugging my husband every winter for the three years we've been married to start using it again, but we weren't sure what condition it was in after sitting unused for so long. Kevin confirmed the appointment the day before, and showed up right on time. He inspected the fireplace and advised me that everything was in great shape and he wasn't going to charge the full price (which was still very reasonable) because it didn't need to be deep-cleaned.
