I wasn't home when they showed up to clean the ducts, my boyfriend was. The person who showed up seemed to be having a rough day and seemed irritated to have to be there. It seemed like they cleaned the vents and did a decent enough job. I showed up about halfway through and when I got there he seemed to be in better spirits and friendlier. I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. The cleaning was fairly priced so I would recommend for regular maintenance but if you're wanting good attention to detail for something that's been left for a while you might want to shop around

On Tuesday, a guy named Ron from Clean Air Pro came with a drill-powered chimney sweep kit that costs $40 online. He refused to use the proper equipment, claiming a chimney drill power kit is how they "always clean air vents." The online statement on clean air pro specifically says "we use specialized equipment - vacuums and rotary brushes, among others-to complete our tasks." And it was very different from the top notch service I received 3 years prior... Their office first said they'd get back to me in a day, but then the owner, Ben called and did his best to make it right. Ben managed to find a team that could make it out the very next day (which is very short notice, so was much appreciated) A crew including Alex from Houston came to do a "fix" - and they did a phenomenal job! They not only put plastic to cover surfaces and protect from dust, they washed the registers and primed them, they vacuumed (see pic) with the proper equipment, got so much dust out , they sealed off the sides of my register boxes since attic dust was coming out (such great attention to detail!), they even cleaned out the box under my AC that I thought was beyond hope! So grateful to the company for making it right, to Alex and crew for the hard work, and to Ben (who's following up with more training to ensure his team follows exact same procedure as Houston).

The technician…read morewas out here roughly 10 minutes at most, checked two attics and told us we had mold and that it would require a major cleaning and sanitation. He first showed me the picture he took of our downstairs attic and then the part that to me was very hinky was when I asked to see the picture of the second unit, it took him several minutes of scrolling through his phone to find another picture that showed a moldy unit. (If the picture was just taken it would've been right there next to the first picture.) Estimate was over 3K. I had another company come out two days later and they said we had no mold and the estimate $1100. I'm going with the second company who spent 30 minutes going over everything and making sure that they provided an accurate estimate versus the service we got from Clean Air Pro. The other major negative was the person didn't even put up the stairs back to the attics and left my back door open to the garage.

Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. KG Lawn Care exceeded my expectations and truly helped me complete my dream back yard - The quality of work and character of Umesh will have me recommending him and his company to all my family and friends!

I was looking to replace my entire AC system which is why it's important to find the best in the business and rated the best. It's also important to find more than one 5* business so you can get a better picture and quotes for such an expensive endeavor which I found helpful. If you're going to go all the way with such an expense, it's best to educate yourself as much as possible, and there's lots of YouTube videos on AC repair and replacement which you should watch prior to making that decision. You really need to be an informed and educated customer or you might find yourself with an inferior or wrong system. I found that certain AC companies want the steer you to certain brands they represent, so you may wish to decide on a brand first. I found that the Carrier Infiniti system with its very high seer rating and variable speed was the perfect choice. More details on this system in the photos below. If you live in a two-story house like mine, you can expect the price to be much greater due to the fact that you have dampeners which will need to be fixed or replaced which greatly adds to the bill. As for my AC, it was over 20 years old, but still chugging along. However, I knew there was going to be new mandates in 2025 which would greatly add to the expense of AC replacement such as a new refrigerant which is slightly flammable called Puranovance. I replaced my old R22 compressor with the new R-410a which is still readily available, but will eventually be phased out many years from now. I also mistakenly thought you'd get a good deal by replacing it during the cool months, but apparently a lot of people were doing what I was doing so no break in the price. As a matter fact, the date of manufacture of my new Infiniti compressor was only just a couple weeks old before it was installed. After some back-and-forth on pricing, we finally decided on a date of installation. Carl and his crew showed up and had everything installed within six hours and hauled off the old units. We still needed some troubleshooting in order to dial-in the thermostats functioning properly, but everything works perfectly now and the temperature remains exactly as you set it throughout the house. Both the compressor and the blower motor are incredibly quiet. Since I knew I needed this replacement at some point, I had enough money in the bank to cut a check for the job. When you sign up for Carl's service, you get Carl in the equation. Check out the photos below which show you the equipment, specs and the pricing. Update: After 2 weeks the plenum did separate, but I was able to use foil tape to close up the 8" gap. Personally, I think a 30 day check up would be a good idea not just for Carl, but anyone who gets this kind of installation from whatever company you choose.

I had to have warranty work and the cost of labor and freon was almost $2,000. I asked for a itemized statement several times to see what I was being charged for as the job took less than 2 hours, but they have refused to respond after initially saying they would provide it. They are very quick to respond and get you on the schedule, but I believe the way overcharge you when providing warranty work to cover the parts that are covered under the warranty. I'd also like to say that I don't believe it is right to charge me for freon when the reason I needed freon was because of a part that was covered under warranty. If system leaks freon due to a defective part it seems that should also be covered under warranty. As far as I am concerned, their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on unless you feel like paying 40% of the original cost of your unit to cover a part that is under warranty.

Having lived with the original builder grade bath for close to 40 years, I…read moredecided it was time to start preparing to "age in place" and get my master bath completely redone - shower conversion, floor tile, cabinets, new toilet, wallpaper removal and painting. This was my first major remodel, so I don't really have anything to compare with. The nits I experienced were pretty minor and probably typical for a job this scale. I found Jose thru Yelp after verifying his other reviews were from real people and not AI generated. I had initially gotten quotes from several of the bathroom remodelers that advertise on TV and experienced sticker shock. One of them turned out to do only the wet area - I would have had to get someone else for the floors, cabinets, painting, etc. Their quote for just the shower area ended up being about what I paid Jose for the entire job. Another of the TV advertisers could do everything I wanted, but their quote was almost 3x what Jose quoted! Yes, they could do it in 2-3 days, but is that worth 3x the cost? One of the first nits I experienced was that Jose didn't tell me the whole master bedroom would be sealed off during the project. Not that big a deal, but I wish I'd known that in advance. They got the demo completed the first day. One of the more time-consuming parts was removing the old wallpaper, which seemed to take about 2 days (the old walls were completely papered). His crew foreman Javier is a master craftsman. I learned pretty quickly to trust his experience. When I had initially seen the tile backer boards installed for the shower, I thought they had forgotten the niche shelf I'd requested. He explained that goes in last. One of the other nits I experienced was that I had to buy a lot of the supplies myself. I would have much preferred just pointing to stuff in a catalog, and Jose go buy them. The biggest problem with that was the grout. I trusted the tile shop's recommendation on grout, and when I delivered it to Javier, he said that stuff is no good. He explained that since it has silicone, it constantly outgasses and leaves a film on the tile. I went online and saw some other reviews with the same comments, so that reinforced my decision to trust what he was doing. Similar experience with the safety grab bars. I just bought some from Amazon, which came with cheap nylon screw locks. Seemed pretty flimsy should you have to actually use them to prevent a fall. Javier was able to use drywall anchors to securely lock them in place. The last nit was the cabinet installation. They were in such a rush to finish the cabinets that the toilet hadn't even been installed. Since I switched to an elongated ADA style toilet, it turned out the medicine cabinet above the toilet could no longer be reached at the old one's height. They had to come back and lower it 4 inches. Again, an easy correction, but would have been unnecessary if they had put the new toilet in first. Jose's crew finished up in 2 weeks, but it was another week before the glass shower doors and mirror showed up to be installed. Anyway, they finally went in today, and I am very happy with the end results. My neighbor had his bath redone last year, and comparing Jose's work to my neighbor's handyman, Jose is miles ahead. I finally know what "Schluter" is. My neighbor doesn't have it, so there are sharp tile edges everywhere! Jose Robles Remodeling will definitely be in the running to do my other 2 bathrooms.

I highly reccomend Texas Air Duct Cleaning Services. It's very rare these days to find someone who is not only reliable but honest as well. I'm new to home ownership and was having issues with water pooling up underneath the front of my dryer and the lint trap constantly being caked with dog hair and lint. I assumed it was either my dryer or that my dryer vent was blocked with a substantial amount of lint and dog hair after only a year and a half of being in a brand new built home. I called Joseph and made an appointment with him to come check things out. He informed me upfront what the cost for service would be. On the day of the appointment Joseph arrived on time and after listening to my description of the issues I was having he checked the outside vent and saw that it had been painted over causing the flap to be stuck closed. After unsticking the flap Joseph made sure there wasn't any build up of caked up lint and dog hair inside the vent and also informed me of how often I should have my vents checked and cleaned. He also checked my inside return vent in the main living area per my request to see if there was any major build up of dust. After doing all of this he didn't even charge me anything saying that he didn't really have to do any major work. He could have easily charged me and said that the vents were dirty and I wouldn't have known any different but instead Joseph was entirely honest and trustworthy. I will definitely call him again when I am ready to do a whole house vent cleaning as I know his prices will be fair and straight forward and the services he performs will be thorough. read more

I rent an old house that is always dusty. After reading around, it seemed like getting the HVAC system and ducting cleaned might help. I checked Angie's List for a few quotes, and Texas Air Duct Cleaning Services were the first to respond. Their offer was better than the other two offers I received, and much more straightforward. Another company seemed to have half a dozen things that could cost more based on what they saw when they arrived. I didn't like that. I scheduled online which was very easy and convenient. I'd been dragging my feet and wanted to get the work done before our daughter was born and ended up scheduling a few days before our due date, much to my wife's disdain. I got an email later in the day asking if I wanted to move my appointment up, which was great. I enjoy seeing businesses that are efficient and helpful. I got a call about 45 minutes before they arrived confirming my appointment which was very convenient. We walked through the house and did an inspection of the entire system, and the technician explained exactly what they were planning to do. He took the time to show me what the ducts looked like before they started cleaning, and at the end before they closed everything up. Both technicians who came out were friendly and took the time to show me what they were doing and encouraged me to inspect the work. There were no hidden charges, and the service was finished in the amount of time to which they had committed. Overall, this was a great experience. I'd highly recommend their services. read more

This is a response for Mr. Kenneth M. that wrote a bad review on my company saying that we are not servicing the Hutto area. Just FYI Mr. Kenneth M., my best team foreman lives next to your rental house which you called for an air duct cleaning service, and we didn't like the way you called us for service. The first time we came to your house you forgot about the appointment and you didn't bother to call us to reschedule. The second time, after your apology for the first time, you lied and told us that there was a death in your family and, again, you didn't bother to call us. And the third time, again, you weren't home and you didn't answer our calls when we were letting you know we were on our way. And when you called to schedule the fourth time, I personally told you that we will not reschedule with you anymore. And you have the audacity to write a bad review on my company. Shame on you! FIVE STARS! Joseph is a pro and extremely polite. He and his technician were very thorough. They explained the whole process to me and showed me the crazy things they found in my dryer exhaust line (including a twisted beer can from back when my home was constructed!). They even cleaned out what they could reach in my dryer's lint trap and explained to me how to maintain and service my drying system for long term efficiency and savings. They cleaned up everything which was a pleasant surprise and gave me even more tips on how to use my dryer most efficiently to protect my clothes and my wallet. We've got an old house with a complicated layout, and it turns out that our dryer vent line runs a long distance with multiple bends. I know this because the service company we had out yesterday gave up: they couldn't unblock the line, and we were faced with the prospect of either no dryer or tearing up the walls to re-lay a new line. Yikes. So with optimistic desperation, I called Texas Air Duct Cleaning Services to see if they could get the vent duct clean enough to be able to use our dryer again. And: SUCCESS. Joseph and Tyler from Texas Air Duct got the line unblocked and running great again. THANK GOODNESS. We've now got their magnet on our fridge and will call them back every year on the dot to get the ducts cleaned out. (As a bonus, they were also friendly and showed up right on time.) After recently purchasing a home, we decided to get very detailed air duct cleaning. We decided not to select a service with a special because we wanted to insure we got the job done right, not quick and cheap. After doing research we selected Texas Air Duct Cleaning Services. They arrived right on time but after doing an inspection they informed us the ducts were all clean already and their service was not needed. What honest and decent people!! I am extremely pleased with the work Yossi Shooker and his team performed at my two residences. I appreciate his honesty and desire to only perform services when necessary!!! After inspecting my ducts at the first residence, he informed me that they were clean enough to not need any services. At my second residence, Mr. Shooker worked with me on prices when the evaluation of an older, very dirty duct system was much worse than anticipated. I contacted Joseph after another duct cleaning company claimed that all of my ductwork was contaminated with mold and it would be $3000 to replace the ductwork. Joseph and his team came out and inspected the ductwork and confirmed my suspicion that there was not actually any mold in the ductwork, and they did it at no cost. I also had them clean the dryer vent after the other company "cleaned it". I wish I had taken photos of the cleaning. There was enough lint in the vent to make a small shirt out of, and this is after the other company did a cleaning. They kept me involved throughout the cleaning, explaining what each step was. I choose Texas Air Duct Cleaning Services through Angie's List. Joseph and his crew showed up on time. They did a great job of cleaning the air ducts and suggested that we needed to have the main unit cleaned. They did that job and some extra work for the price quoted. On a holiday. And they adjusted the scheduled inspection so that I didn't have to miss my daughter's birthday dinner. Roy and Eric (brothers, and brothers-in-arms as well) arrived on time and quickly assess the situation and the mistakes I had made. I had made the mistake of trying to clean my dryer vent with a Home Depot extendable brush, which I'd subsequently gotten stuck in the vent. The vent hadn't been cleaned in at least two decades. After multiple attempts to extract my brush, frustrated by tight quarters and a poorly placed HVAC condenser, they were able to extract my poorly executed tool (Important Homeowner Maintenance Tip 1: pay the professionals for this relatively routine stuff instead of trying to DIY when you don't have the proper tools or time to!). We haven't been able to clear the blockage yet (Important Maintenance Tip 2: Clean your dryer duct more than once every two decades!), but they've given me some professional perspectives, options, and worked their collective butts off to clear the obstacles.
