We found the them the be extremely knowledgeable and even found a miscalculation on cabinet placement for a dishwasher alcove. (which was quickly fixed prior to installation of countertops and would have been a nightmare had it not been caught beforehand) Countertops were installed in record time and look amazing. From countertop measurements to installation took less then 2 weeks and only 4 hours for the day to install. We chose classical white quarts with the large single bowl sink with zero radius edge corners. We love the gray veins throughout the slab and how true to white the white really is. In photos you'll also see the matte black, Moen faucet with soap dispenser and gray shaker style cabinets. Completely satisfied with our purchase and could definitely recommend to family and friends. Had the manafacturers rep come out five days later and was told they would be replaced within a week...three weeks later they arrived and had Reico install same. upon there completion trim was also installed off center and didn't extend into the wall. defective cabinets were again installed in which caulk was used to apparently address the issue. Two months later I am still trying to have my issues addressed by Reico. Run and run as fast as you can...I have never seen such poor service or quality in my thirty plus years as a builder.....

I had hired Absolute Stone Design in the fall of 2025 to repair an issue with my granite counter…read moretops having an uneven seam. They sent out two guys to repair my countertop. Only one of them spoke English. None the less, they were able to fix the issue. Fast forward to February 2026 and the issue with the uneven seam returned. Apparently, the fix didn't stay. Spoke with Renee at Absolute Stone Design and explained the issue. They sent two technicians to my house to repair the issue. This time neither one of them could speak or understand English which made it very difficult and problematic to explain what needed to be done and what my wishes were. Me and the technician ended up having to use a translator app on our phones to communicate which was quite time consuming and only prolonged the issue of getting my countertop fixed. After 20 minutes or so of back and forth trying to explain what the process was and what my expectations are the technicians began working. They put some sort of device that straddled the seam and using suction moved the two different sides of granite to make the seam even. The whole process took a little more than an hour. Once they were done, they seem to pack up their stuff in a hurry and left. Now my wife and I didn't stay in the kitchen the entire time and watch them work. Once they left, my wife and I went to dinner. Once we came back and closely inspected the work, that's when we found the damage to our countertops. They had put a hole in our stone and tried to cover it up by putting some kind of filler in the hole hoping we wouldn't notice it (see pics). I was able to scratch out the filler with my fingernail. I went to the Absolute Stone design office and spoke to the owner and explained the issue of what happened and showed him the pictures of the damage. His response at first was denial and then asked me how do I know that wasn't there before they started work. Then he tried to explain how the stone is old and brittle. He tried to explain away a couple of different excuses so as to avoid responsibility. After a little further explaining my position and how I don't buy his excuses I advised him that I am not paying the $300 fee he wants for the work as I am not paying them $300 to come to my house and damage my granite and then not offer to fix it. The owner was OK with that. He also advised me that he would speak with Renee about the issue and someone would be getting back with me the following week. That didn't happen and no one called me. Only after I received an invoice in my email (about a week later) did I call them back and speak with Renee and explained again what had happened. I could tell from our conversation that no discussion was had between her and the owner. I also advised her that I was not paying the $300 to them after they had damaged my granite. She understood and was OK with it. Now here we are a few weeks later and I get a call from a young girl at Absolute Stone Design inquiring about the $300. I again had to explain to this young girl what took place and for her to speak with the owner and Renee. I also explained that they sent two technicians to work at my house and neither one could speak or understand English. Her reply both shocked and surprised me as she said in an indignant manner that "I don't see what that has to do with anything..." and before I could explain, she hung up on me. Having been treated like this by Absolute Stone Design, I would not recommend doing business with these people as they are not very customer focused and apparently are OK with sending technicians to fix your problem without even being able to communicate with you should you have concerns or questions. And it appears that their staff are not properly trained on how to provide quality customer or show any empathy towards a customer who has experienced issues with their work nor do they seemed concerned in any way on offering to make it right. She started by visiting our house to see our kitchen, and then she listened to what we wanted and what we wanted to get rid of with the remodel. She asked us detailed questions -- Do you use your microwave to re-heat or to cook? Could you use another pantry near the refrigerator for storage, or would you rather have more counter space? Have you thought of using tray dividers in the cupboards over the refrigerator to store your trays and cookie sheets? Based on our answers, she drew up several layouts for us to review. She willingly revised elements of the plan we settled on, and once the remodel was underway, she came by a few times to see that the installation was going smoothly. I never felt the clock ticking when I met with her, or rushed into a decision, or pushed to choose the most costly materials. She was even willing to look at the flooring samples I brought by to help me envision which would look best with the cabinets and countertop we had chosen. They didn't start construction until May 12, and it was difficult getting them pinned down on that date. They knew from the beginning we were wanting them to be finished before our vacation in June. They started strong with 3 workers the first day to get demo done in one day, but from that point on they never worked a full week and vary rarely worked a full day. Our project that was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks took 3 months. Three of the most aggravating, frustrating months we have ever spent. The contractor didn't show up half of the time, and the work he did had to be redone many times. He didn't even know how to build the half wall for the shower, and we had to explain it to him. They wouldn't let us know when they weren't coming even though we asked time and time again so that we could let out our animals. They didn't obtain the County permit for construction, and that delayed everything. They always had an excuse for why they weren't working. We finally had to threaten to get a lawyer for breach of contract to get the work completed. Although the design looked good on paper, there wasn't enough detail to it to fully execute it properly. The plan for the closet was not detailed enough to show that the opening was only going to be 15" wide with the shelves as shown which would have been even narrower because the hangers extend outside of the closet. I could go on and on about the aggravation we have experienced over the last 3 months, and the extreme stress that this has put on our family. The end result is beautiful, but I hope the construction holds up.
