Customer service is a joke. Don't waste your time. Advertised $5.99 movies for Tuesday, show up and paid for a movie not on the list (yea apparently it's only some movies, despite "all ticket all day" being on the ad) asked for a refund for the movie we didn't watch and was refused. Called customer service where they also refused, stating I was definitely wrong but also argumentative.

My mother (from Vilonia) had been coming to this establishment for a while.... We spent over $100 on tickets and food/drinks. The manager and owner were thoroughly checking purses before letting us into the theater. My mom had a box of chocolate covered raisins in her purse and was instructed she couldn't bring them in. Our hands were full with popcorn and drinks. So, I pointed out how much money we had just spent - thinking they couldn't be serious. But the owner couldn't have cared less about that... I said we'll just get a refund on the food and drinks then - the owner snapped back and said we should go ahead and get a refund for our tickets too - then pointed to the counter suggesting we needed to leave. The owner said I cussed the manager. I may have said are you f'ing serious (because really - all that over a box of raisins - when we had just spent $100). But I definitely didn't diss the manager. The owner got up in my face and was pointing a large flashlight at me. He and I exchanged words as my mother was waiting to get a refund. He was clearly attempting to act professional - but it was pretty cringe. He let me know as I was walking out that he was very well off - that the establishment was paid off and he was debt free. So - rest assured where your money is going when you pay high concession prices.

Once in a while, we will visit this theater because it's closer and EVERYTIME we regret it. (I'm sorry to say.)

The Rialto is a jewel that our town is lucky to have. The art deco building is unique to this part…read moreof Arkansas and adds charm to the town's main square. They play second run movies for only $3, matinees and Tuesdays $1. Popcorn and drinks are downright cheap and you won't have to take out a second mortgage to have a snack to enjoy with the movie. Seats, sound, and projection are all top notch and updated. The theater is now owned by the city and provides an affordable and enjoyable service to the community. I hope everyone in Searcy will support The Rialto and get out there and enjoy a night out at the movies that won't break the bank. Movies a special in this kind of environment and not in some nondescript cineplex.

I barely had enough time to get to know this courteous and down to earth people. The confederate flag waving across the street was a bit appalling to see waving in 2019, but what kind of American would I be if I didn't let my love of historic theater restoration and movies themselves and get to know these people and share the commonality that we do have. Hey, they might not be down with the statue of the confederate general too. That's their antiquated past. However, the young gentleman with the beard and cap behind the concession stand suggested a great cafe in its own right for a comfy sit down. And as I walked through this small town's serene streets back to the theater, I fantasized of how profoundly cool it would be to see my favorite cult classic movies on a summer night with a refreshing soda and warm, golden popcorn. But I had to keep to the road and the $10 shirt that I baught to help raise money to restore the seats was well with it.

Came to see the first showing of the day for Cars 3 on a Thursday. LOOONG line, only one person…read moreworking the ticket booth! I ended up logging into Fandango and purchasing online so I didn't have to wait anymore, and I'm glad I did since the only concessions is right before the ticket taker. Matinee for standard is $8.40 a ticket, kids, adults and seniors. Matinee 3D tickets are $11.86. A bit more expensive than the Cinemark in LR, which has reclining leather seats. Only 3 concession lines were open, then one closed down that a guy was working (he looked like a manager). Lines of course, were long since it's the only stand in the place. No self-serve butter machine, so you have to be very explicit with how much butter you want on your popcorn. Young lady taking tickets was very polite and directed us to our theater. Theater was a nice size, sat in the last row of the front section and didn't feel like we were too close to the screen where you have to look up to watch. I like how clean the theater and bathrooms were. My biggest complaint was of course being the unlucky patron to have a rude lady sit behind me and constantly push on my seat. Not the theater's fault of course. Please open up more registers for ticket sales, but especially concessions when you have 10 people in each line. What would also help assist with wait times for purchasing tickets is adding kiosks so people can purchase themselves in case they cannot do so online, on their phone, as it will give them another option to purchase tickets.

The place is very clean and has a comfortable temperature inside. The restroom was very clean…read more The only thing I did not enjoy was that there was 32 minutes of advertising before the movie. Very expensive for two adults and two children. $82 is really unreasonable. This is the first time in over 10 years we have attended a movie. I believe we will wait until it comes out on tv.
