Went here back in August. Came over this way for Indian food and saw this shop right next to it so we stopped. We got an almond yogurt pound cake, a loaf of Italian bread, chocolate cupcake, 2 cannolis (one chocolate, one regular), and an apple fritter/turnover. The pound cake was the best item- amazing!!! The other desserts and bread was delicious as well. Will definitely come back. The staff was very patient too as we looked through all the goodies to get lol. read more

Never had a problem but today wife and me got a piece of dessert she dug into hers and immediately spit it out. The bottom was moldy. This was a mini chocolate pie it was foul smelling she almost threw up read more

Really wanted a cheese Danish. No Danishes here. That's ok. The lady I talked with was very helpful and nice and suggested the apple cream cheese bar, which I hadn't had before but is a new favorite. Will definitely return when I am in the area again. read more

Very good place located such that if you did not know it was there, your would drive right by. I will say that of all of the things this place has going on, there the coffee is perfect. So in general, there pastries and baked goods are all really good. The one thing though that keeps bringing me back is my wife. She has fallen inn love with an Eccles Cake. Not sure how a British pastry ends up in so many Italian bakeries, but there you go. These little pastries are found at several places around RI, but my wife swears by these particular ones. So parking is easy. It is easy on and off of Rt. 2 (Baldhill). The staff is great. There are a lot of Bakery' in RI, which means that there are also a lot that are only A-OK. This in one that is a notch above. I would put it up there in the top tier, which means it is really good. read more

We tried various italian zuppa inglese cakes in RI looking for our wedding cake and they are the winner. Very light and moist with the perfect balance of flavors. Ugh, Disgusting!! Umm cannolis need to be refrigerated... If I knew they weren't I wouldn't have bought them. I purchased three different kinds and all were warm and gross! I immediately ran to the trash to spit out the regular ricotta cheese cannoli as soon as I took a bite. It was quite mushy and definitely spoiled!!! The second was chocolate "mousse" which wasn't actually any type of mousse. And the third was cappuccino that also tasted spoiled! Horrible! I love Emilio's Bakery and honestly one of the best in Rhode Island. Everything is good from cookies to cakes, pastries, muffins and my personal favorite there....Cinnamon sticks! They also have great iced coffee, brewed without the stupid flavor shot. They also have great calzones, pizza, Italian Bread that is always fresh with a nice crust. I miss living near a good old fashioned bakery. You cannot go wrong here if you need to stop and get something for a party or a function. Last minute searching for rice pie on Easter morning, ended up with a riccotta pie with pineapple. Absolutely the best riccotta pie ever. We are spoiled in R.I. with great bakeries. Stay away; rude staff and just not good anymore. Long time customer but never going back; muffins and pastries the last few times have been old, breaking point was that they would not customize a cake for us.
