This is way more than an ice cream store. It is also connected to a sandwich shop. She ordered a brookie, i had a regular key lime & lemon cheesecake, and of course we had a pup cup that had a milk bone stuck into it. Her brookie was tasty, she said she wished it had oreo cookies instead of chocolate chip - but she enjoyed it. My lemon/lime concoction was also tasty. I wish there was 200% more lime & 200% more lemon flavor, because i am a fiend for citrus. But it was still good. Lastly, the pup cup, she didnt say much... but she licked it across the floor - so im assuming she loved it. We will be back for sure to try some other snacks!

It was definitely not the night we had planned, but we decided we weren't going to let it ruin the entire evening. So naturally, we decided ice cream was the answer! We had previously tried to go to Clementine's off Mason Road, but the line was literally out the door. Since the Lake St. Louis location was closer to home, we decided to head there instead, and I'm so glad we did. There was no line when we arrived, and we were able to get right in. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They let us sample different flavors, and they even noticed our Savannah Bananas shirts and asked if we had just come from the game. When we explained that we had unfortunately missed it, they were so sympathetic and told us that ice cream makes everything better. Honestly, she wasn't wrong! One friend got the gooey butter cake, and I ordered two scoops: salted caramel cookies and cream and milk chocolate. The salted caramel is my absolute favorite, and it did not disappoint. Both flavors were delicious. Our other friend ordered the cherry slush and said it was amazing. I also love that Clementine's has both "naughty" and "nice" flavors, with the naughty options incorporating alcohol. After the kind of night we had, it was definitely tempting to consider a naughty flavor! The best part was honestly just how nice it felt to have such a positive experience after such a crappy night. The staff was friendly, there was no waiting, we got to try flavors, and we ended the evening with a delicious sweet treat and some laughs with friends. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, but a good scoop of ice cream and great customer service can definitely help turn the night around. After a long day at cheer camp, my daughter and her friends wanted somewhere to relax, celebrate, and spend time together, and Andy's was the perfect choice. It was fun seeing so many other cheerleaders doing the exact same thing--sharing laughs, making memories, and enjoying a well-earned frozen treat. But they jazz my kid so much they are worth every ridiculous cent I've every paid for one. And the flavors at Tropical SNO are pretty awesome. (Check our the photo). We take swing dance lessons just behind the parking lot where the snow cone stand sits, and we watched it all winter, sad and lonely and shuttered against the cold. We celebrated when we spotted its lights on last week and we had to stop. I had forgotten how enormous these shaved ice treats are. And the cups they serve them in are way better than those stupid paper cups you get elsewhere. And for those of us who just want a coffee to avoid all the calories -- they have that too.
