They had several specials listed for the evening. I had convinced myself to have a hamburger on this trip. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss; as did my dining partner. We also ordered some deep fried green beans. While both of our burgers tasted good and were cooked appropriately, we lamented the small portion of mushrooms on each of our burgers. The green beans were also good, but the order could have been a bit bigger for the price. Overall, it wasn't fancy but the food was good and the service was great. I'm sure we will try it again.

The French dip was shockingly NOT a salt bomb - which was a pleasant surprise. It's the first time I've had a French dip where I actually wanted to dip it in the side of au jus to give it a flavor bump. The real gem is Tanner's amazing selection of sides to choose from - you can swap in a twice baked potato, kettle chips with French onion dip, steamed broccoli, grilled asparagus or potato salad! Any other place would up-charge but Tanner's doesn't. I chose grilled asparagus and appreciated the separate packaging so the sandwich didn't get soggy.
