Located in the Canyons Resort within Park City, Silverado Lodge offers convenient access to the Sunrise Peak gondola lift (via shuttle). The shuttle runs every 7 minutes (give or take) so it's very frequent and the ride to the gondola from the Lodge is maybe a 5 minute ride. There is a shuttle going up the hill to the gondola and one going downhill on Canyons Resort Drive. The bedrooms and bathroom are well kept, there is also a fireplace in the corner of the bedroom to keep warm. Space wise, there is just enough space to spread out for 4 people to get dressed for skiing or snowboarding. Parking wise, there is an underground parking garage that is very convenient to have. Also a bonus to this Lodge is the storage service that is provided as part of the stay. There is an epic rental store as well as a storage service to store boards and skis if brought from home. Very handy! Some minor points I think Silverado can improve on: -The mattresses can maybe be replaced, they felt very worn which attests to the traffic this lodge attracts -The TV was not working, it only remained stuck on one cable channel. We couldn't get the other channels to work All in all, other than the minor cons listed above, I believe Silverado Lodge is worth considering when looking at options for a ski/snowboard trip to Park City. read more

Check in instructions were convoluted. The poor guy on the phone didnt have our reservation but when we finally found the right building, the guy at the desk found us just fine. Getting to the room was also confusing, as there are some parts of the building that dont connect. Better signage would be helpful. The room itself was cute and well appointed. read more

I wanted to give this place 4 stars, but that would've been lying to myself. It was... fine. The good: Hot tub, sauna, and steam room were awesome. The gym was massive, which I loved, but some machines were broken and the floor looked like it hadn't seen a mop in a while. Pool? Dirty. Big nope. The room: Just "meh." TV is ancient--only cable, no Netflix or streaming (it's 2025, come on). Bed wasn't very comfy and all you get is a thin comforter. Balcony technically exists, but there's a half wall in front of you, so your view is basically... a wall. You have to lean sideways to see anything. The okay stuff: Plenty of towels (thank you), pool towels too. Kitchenette had the basics, but the coffee maker was old and confusing with no instructions--felt like a test I didn't study for. Mini fridge was a rock star though, froze my pumped milk like a champ. Also appreciated the random fan/heater and humidifier in the room. The best part: The water refill stations (lifesaver), easy parking with EV chargers and bike racks, and the outside area--WOW. Gorgeous views, other resorts nearby, and a free gondola ride that made me forget about the pool situation. So yeah, not terrible, not amazing. Solid "ok" stay with a few highlights, but definitely not 4 stars. read more

This place is horribly managed and maintained. We stay over 100 nights a year in hotels due to our jobs, so very experienced travelers. This was one the worst experiences we've ever had. 1. We called a week before our stay asking to change our reservation to one day later due to my husband attending his father's burial. They were rude and said no, that it was past the cancellation date. 2. We notified them that we would be arriving around 11:10pm. They said the front desk closed at 11pm and no one would stay, even 10 minutes more. We were instructed to go to the Grand Summit to check in. The directions were non-existent and our driver drove us around for 20+ minutes trying to find the correct place, even with calls to their front desk for directions. 3. We finally have our keys, drive and get dropped off at the Silverado with our numerous heavy bags. Walk in to discover the elevators are broken. We even call the Grand Summit and get a "yeah, sorry". 4. So we lug our bags over several trips to the 2nd floor only to find out we cannot access our room from that side of the building. So we lug them all back downstairs. We call the Grand Summit and they finally send someone over to show us how we have to go out into the parking garage, walk a distance to another part of the building to the one operating elevator and up to our room. There was zero instruction on this when picking up our keys. 5. The room is tiny, no dresser to put our clothing in, a closet with no lighting, only 2 towels in the bathroom. We would have definitely spent the extra $100 to stay in a nicer hotel. 6. I'm writing this only 8 hours into our experience and based on previous reviews, I'm guessing there will not be much of an improvement. read more

We had an enjoyable experience here. I would return. The gentleman at the front desk was super helpful, very knowledgeable & familiar with the area to make suggestions. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I took off one star because it was under construction, they're redoing the ceiling to make it more modern & we were not warned of this prior to making out nonrefundable reservation. It wasn't noisy but it is an eye sore, seems like something you would do in stages in the off season? But we were on the 4th floor in one building & our friend was in the 2nd in another building & both areas were being worked on. Their staging also takes a huge area out of the parking garage. Also, our room setup was a little awkward. We were rooms b&c. You go through one room to a little hall with doors to rooms a-c then through a second door to get into your room. This is one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. 4th worst to be precise. Expect the experience of staying in a 90$ roadside motel. The bedsheets when I arrived had hairs in them, as well as the toilet and sofa. I asked them to re-clean the apartment and they put even dirtier bed sheets on. I woke up with a swollen face probably from Acarus in the bed. The mattress is a spring mattress with a broken spring right in the middle. Rented a unit with two full bathrooms but one of the showers doesn't work at all. The photos are misleading, the furniture is 50 years old and have likely not been properly cleaned in years. The chairs are fabric chairs and desperately need a steam / professional clean. read more

Had a really great time here. A couple of housekeeping hiccups but aside that, it was perfect. Privacy was a bit so-so. It's a condo style resort so the rooms adjoin which was not what I expected and yeah, the walls are thin, but I got a nice king sized bed, jacuzzi tub, and a fireplace for a great day per night. The outdoor pool and hot tub were well maintained, clean, but a bit over chlorinated lol. That may just be because I'm sensitive to smells and chemicals. The steam room was awesome. The sauna room took a bit to get goin but when it did - oh boy! It was hot!!! Loved it. Towels almost always were available. Only one time we had to wait a few min till they replaced them. No room service or restaurant, but there was so many places close by, it wasn't hard to get a meal. Plus lots of items in the vending machine at a decent rate and they take cc's. They even had ice cream lol. It was funny but awesome too. Management was very sweet. Staff were SO helpful at the front desk. They did everything in their power to make our trip enjoyable. Recommended food options and they have a great list too. There was a minor billing issue still being worked out but I have faith it won't be an issue. I'd stay here again for sure. My only 1 Star drop in rating is because of the housekeeping issue. Things should have been handled better. So yes, it's not the St. Regis or $2500/night resort condo, but for the style of resort it is..and for the price paid..yeah, I for sure would give them a try. read more

Minuses: Tiny bathroom vanity made it awkward to get ready No full length mirror. TV placed squarely in front of just one bed. No dining, unless you count frozen burgers and burritos in the vending machine on the first floor. The pool and hot tub were closed. The gym was a random collection of old and broken equipment. My mom actually got hurt on their inversion table, which was held together with duct tape. Few outlets for charging. No clocks. No real amenities to speak of at all. Second stay here. Soooooo much room for improvement. The room itself is pretty standard and I mean STANDARD. Not enough lights to do makeup and no full length mirror. Comes with a king bed, fireplace and small desk with chair. An arm chair would have been a nice touch, or just an extra spot to put clothing and gear that isn't a closet or the floor. Blinds are close to broken so good luck manipulating them all in the same direction. If you turn the fireplace on and leave it on, the room can get very stuffy and takes a while to cool back down. Unfortunately it smelled like there was a gas leak at one point so I had to shut it off just in case. There's also a kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. Next to the microwave was an ice bucket, WITH A DISGUSTING SET OF DIRTY PLASTIC TONGS. Yuck!!!! The bathroom is pretty big with a vanity, soaking tub and separate shower. The shower head, however, is affixed just high enough to be comfortable for someone measuring no more than 4 feet tall. I'm amazed none of the other reviewers mentioned that. Would be nice to have more than one trash can in the room considering housekeeping doesn't come every day. No recycling either, shame on them. The rooms don't have much noise insulation so be prepared to hear people stomping around in ski boots as well as the snow crew cleaning. With a connecting door in the room, you can hear EVERYTHING, including people talking and doing their dishes. Lastly, it's a dead zone not only for decent cell reception but also for delivery. If you think you'll be using yelp/Grubhub/diner dash/uber eats to order anything you're sorely mistaken, so plan accordingly. Obviously no room service either so you'll have to brave the cold no matter what, bummer when it's late and you're feeling under the weather. During my stay they had to reset all of the doors because there was a key card issue and they had to reset the WiFi because there was an issue with that too. I can see this place being fine and all for a family ski vacation since the mountain is right there but it's not exactly cheap for what little they offer and it's so remote and inconvenient that if I wasn't here for a conference I wouldn't stay here. They get two stars instead of one because the staff are actually all super friendly and helpful. read more

The suite we stayed in was ginormous and had everything we could imagine and possibly more. There were 2 full rooms, 2 kitchens, 2 full bathrooms. The hot tub and swimming pool was pretty good. Excellent value at Silverado! A very close walk to the main village at the Canyons where there are restaurants and a grocery store. The property has a pool and hot tub available. The gondola leaves from the village so you just have a short walk to get a lift ticket and head up for skiing in winter. The main desk is very helpful and attentive. I've stayed in the one bedroom layout and two bedroom style which are both nice. The one bedroom had two bathrooms which was very helpful when using the pullout couch for additional guests. The kitchen has everything you need to cook including stove, oven and microwave and a dishwasher :) The underground parking is easy to use and leads right into the lobby. read more

First time to park city and my wife and I were extremely happy with Silverado Lodge. I wasn't sure what area to stay in so I went for what I thought would be best bang for our buck. The staff was extremely friendly, Scott at the front desk answered all our questions and put us in a great room with a super view. This lodge doesn't have restaurants but there are some within walking distance and Grubhub delivers so we were good. All the other lodges in this area were more expensive with slightly better access to slopes but I would highly recommend this place. read more

Great lodge at the canyons!! Very convenient and has access to the canyons shuttle as well as the free park city bus system. We got a great suite deal (pun intended) where we paid for 3 nights and got the 4th night free. The staff is extremely accommodating and they have a place to store your snow-filled boards and skis so you don't need to carry them up and down the floors. The room- fireplace in the common area and the living room?? YES! The ac/heater works great as well but there's nothing like being a pyromaniac. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, filtered water and ice which is great. The sofa is a futon which is helpful and a rental rollaway bed is $20/ night. There was plenty of room for 6 people and the lodging made our trip fairly comfy. There's a steam room and sauna as well to relax after a hard day on the mountain. My only gripe with the place was their slow response time to providing towels in the pool area. Really? 45 minutes later?? Not to mention the steam room was out of order and 4 guys came down to attempt to fix it while we were trying to relax in the sauna. Finally, I'm not a fan of that whole layout involving the pool, sauna/steam room and lockers... Doesn't give much way to privacy. All in all, this place is more like a 3.5 but can't complain about a great room and value for 6 people. read more

Ok, I have to disclose that I own a condo at the Silverado, I will be as objective and neutral as possible. First of all Silverado is the newest Slopeside Condominium Lodges at the Canyons. Just completed in February of 2007, it offers true luxury ski-in slopeside accomodations at the Canyons. I'm floored at some of the negative reviews, especially from other 'Elites'. Dollar for dollar, this is easily the best hotel in the Canyons area. The prices are always cheap for what you get. Any lodging in the Canyons area is going to be a great location, walking to the lifts, this is no exception. The building isn't a mega resort but still very nice and I like the size. I've stayed at a number of others in the Canyons area and they're too massive, with parking all the way on one side, having to walk way across to the other. The parking here is great... simply park in the small underground parking, right up to your room, which is awesome with all of your gear. A review said the parking garage was eerie or something...? What should a parking garage look like? A Disneyland light show? And btw, this is PARK CITY, not Compton... you're fine - yeesh. The rooms are amazing. The first time I stayed here, I was in their smallest room, which was way too small and a weird angle, like a triangle, and it was cramped moving around. However, right now I'm in the normal room and it's great; big bathroom, kitchen type of area (just a fridge), fireplace, office desk, and a huge balcony overlooking the lifts. Amazing. The pool and hot tub area is great, super relaxing. The gym is a big 'meh' but all hotel gyms are, especially when thr 'gym' is the mountain. The late night check-in policy, as someone else mentioned, is definitely odd, having to go up to the other lodge. I got in at midnight, called the number in the lobby, but fortunately they said someone was still there and a girl emerged from the back room. Also, it's the furthest back from the lifts, which isn't actually a bad walk across the open lawn area but if you want, you can take a shuttle over. Either way, it's close enough. This place is easily the best value in the Canyons area... and I've stayed a few of the other resorts here. read more

For the price you pay to stay at this lodge, it's not worth it. Don't expect a clean room, no house keeping unless you ask for it! Even then you most likely won't see housekeeping. Didn't get clean towels after 2-3 days of staying there; there was only one small garbage pail in the bathroom which was overflowing, toilet paper wasn't replenished and neither were the shampoo/conditioners or soaps. When we did call and ask for fresh towels, it took 45 minutes and we had to go to the front desk to ask again; when they were finally delivered, they never took the dirty towels out of the room or took the garbage. There is no safe in the room to lock up your valuables as stated in the room description. Our room (which had a working fireplace) didn't have a smoke alarm, the wires were hanging out of the ceiling where the alarm should have been! Ice machine and vending machines are a trek if you're staying on the connecting side of the hotel, there aren't multiple throughout, only on the first floor towards the pool. Which is not 24 hours as stated and closes at 10PM. Front desk is not 24 hours, so make sure you don't need them throughout the night. No microwave in the room, even though it says so on the room description, so if you brought food back (since there's no room service) make sure you don't have to heat it up. Dirty towels and garbage sometimes left in the hallways for pickup, but sat there for a day or two before anyone picked it up. They do check in your boards/skis and offer free Starbucks coffee in the lobby, but only until 10:30AM (even though the sign says 11). Overall, I wouldn't return to the Silverado Lodge. I'd rather stay at the Hilton down the street even though it's not as close to the mountain. At least I know I'll have fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. read more

I want to share a story about a recent nightmare experience I had with Vacation Rental By Owner (VRBO) at the Silverado Lodge in the hope that I can help others avoid what has happened to me. VRBO and another company, HomeAway, are both owned by Expedia. Through them, I booked a condo in Park City, Utah for 4 nights which I prepaid in full, as they require, a month before arriving. After receiving no information from VRBO or the property owner in response to my questions about how to find the property (a simple message telling me it was in the Silverado Lodge would have been very helpful), I finally found it amongst condo complexes and hotels on a very dark mountain road with no visible street numbers on buildings. Much to my surprise and dismay, after lugging all my gear up to the unit, I discovered it looking as you see in these pictures. Not only was it much smaller than it appeared in the images on VRBO, the main problem was that it clearly had not been cleaned since the last renters left. There was also extremely awful-smelling trash that they had failed to empty in the can right near the front door of the unit. Lovely. By this time it was 12 am (2 am my time) and after much effort I managed to get someone from VRBO to locate my reservation and provide me the phone number of the property owner, a man named Lee Wyckoff. (I had discovered earlier in the day, the "call the owner" function on VRBO's app was disabled.) Instead of apologizing and agreeing to pay for me to stay in a clean room that night as would have been the only decent thing to do, Mr. Wyckoff questioned whether I went to the correct unit and said he would have to "investigate" the situation. Long story short, I had to spend 2 nights in another much more expensive unit in the Silverado Lodge because the next day when I went back to the original unit it was still not clean. There were little bits of toilet paper on the bathroom floor around the toilet. And I wondered whether the towels that looked like they had been folded by a 5-year old, or the sheets under the comforter which was carelessly tossed on the bed, were even clean. I tried to reach the owner to explain what I'd found the second time around, but once again my call when straight to voicemail. He did not respond to my voice or email messages. As you can imagine, I had to try VERY hard not to let this ridiculousness ruin my brief and much-needed time on the slopes. Early on day three I went back to see if the room had finally been properly cleaned. The unit I had been renting was reserved by someone else for the night. When I went to open the door and drop off my bags, I discovered that my keycard didn't work. The person at the front desk told me that Mr. Wyckoff had instructed them to deactivate it. So instead of getting the unit professionally cleaned, he instead chose to deny me access to something I had prepaid for IN FULL. I was left with nowhere to stay for the last two nights of my trip, at peak time in Park City when there were almost no available rooms in the entire village. I had to spend the morning scrambling to find somewhere to stay other than in my rental car on the side of the mountain. I managed to find something at a hotel up the road, but it cost me a fortune. Despite my repeated requests since returning home, VRBO/Expedia refuses to do anything to help me recover any of the $2500+ I spent as a result of Mr. Wyckoff's actions. They claim they are simply a marketing site and it is completely up to renters to try to get property owners (even dishonest ones) to do the right thing. They even say privacy laws prevent them from telling me about any action they will take against Mr. Wyckoff. (My guess is nothing.) Mr. Wyckoff has refused to reimburse me the money I paid in advance for his filthy unit, OR for the two nights I had to rent another room because he failed to clean the property, OR for the two nights I had to stay at another property because he literally locked me out of the unit I had paid for. So it seems like other than giving Mr. Wyckoff a bad review on VRBO (I have no idea how long VRBO will keep it posted), the only recourse I have is to file a suit in small claims court. However that will require me to go back to Utah and/or hire a lawyer, and there is no guarantee I will be able to collect from Mr. Wyckoff if I win. Apologies for the very long post, but PLEASE help me spread the word about VRBO's terrible policies and the bad eggs they allow to rip people off through their site. Incidentally, I learned that unlike VRBO, Airbnb holds renters' payments until after the trip in order to provide some assurance that property owners don't do what I had done to me. I will never, ever use VRBO again, and I'm going to explore whether there is anything else I can do to help make sure others don't end up in my situation. I arrived later in the evening and went to check in at the front desk. The girl at the front desk informed me they were no longer open and I would need to drive up the hill to another hotel to check in. Aside from inconvenient, trying to find my way to another hotel in the dark when I was hoping for a quick and easy check-in process, in all my years of travel, I've never stayed at any hotel where the front desk shuts down at any hour. Found my way to the second hotel and checked in. The girl said - "Oh, you're actually staying at the Silverado!" and proceeded to begin giving directions back to hotel #1. I informed her that the front desk lady told me she was closed and had me drive up to her. "Oh. Ok!" I get checked in and they give me directions back to the Silverado. Parking is underground which I suppose is nice when it's snowing and cold, but it was kinda creepy down there, especially because the entrance doors weren't especially obvious. My room was ok - cozy, nice fireplace & fridge, but there were stains on the carpet, the deadbolt was broken and the curtains didn't entirely cover the sliding glass door. As a single female staying on the first floor, having the deadbolt broken and the curtain not cover the entire door... well, it wasn't ideal to say the least. I had a few hours of work to put in before the night was over, so I pulled out the wifi info the front desk had provided, connected to the Silverado network and entered the password, but alas, the wifi was down. I had high hopes for staying at what I thought was a beautiful Park City resort but I have to be honest and express my disappointment with the Silverado, especially with how much money was paid. read more

"I need to stay somewhere in Park City and I'll settle for a step above whatever." If that's your goal, Silverado is your destination. Part of the larger Canyon Resort suite, Silverado is a cozy, modest lodge that gets the job done but isn't a place that you'll be thinking back on for years to come. Strike 1 - if you're directionally challenged, you better pray that you're not staying in the second building. It doesn't have its own proper entrance and is linked to the main building by a tunnel that's on the second floor and rather random/ hard to find. Why is it so cryptic? Why can't they just link the buildings in a way that makes sense? Strike 2 - If you're technologically challenged, you'll hate the alarm clock. Hell, I'm technologically skilled and I still can't figure out how to set the damn thing. Maybe it's broken - I kept holding alarm while adding increments and absolutely nothing happens. Strike 3 - I called the front desk to ask about the spa hours, and she said it's open 24/7. I went down and was greeted by a giant "SPA CLOSED" sign. What gives, staff member cleaning the pool? "It closes at 10," he responded. Umm... Strike 4 - The fitness center is a joke...I mean, I didn't expect much from a small lodge, but there are two machines, one of which is broken, and the free weights only go up to 25 pounds, so you're not getting big in this gym. The sauna is nice though. -The silver linings- To be fair, the rooms are nice and well kept and they all have giant, soft, king sized beds. The cleaning staff does an excellent job and the views from outside the lodge are fantastic. There are no ice machines but the rooms come with fridges and ice trays, which more than makes up for it. It's inviting. You can count on this place for a toasty, if underwhelming, retreat. read more

I stayed here recently. My friend had booked this place. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and I felt immediately comfortable with the clean, modern, cozy looking lobby with a fireplace. Check-in was quick and we parked our car in the underground parking lot. When we got to our room, we found out they had upgraded us for free. We were expecting a standard hotel room with two beds and were pleasantly surprised to see a living room with a kitchen and an extra bathroom. The furniture, bathroom, kitchen, rooms were nice and modern. It was just the three of us but could easily fit six people. It's not a ski-in, ski-out place but the resort is really close by. Less than a mile away. We took a 3 minute shuttle ride to the resort. There is a restaurant inside the lodge but I didn't go to the restaurant there, the prices seemed pricey. I didn't go to the jacuzzi but my husband told me it was nice and they had a steam room and sauna. No complaints. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I was placed in this property when booking a room at the canyons resort. I booked for three nights and I just got here about an hour ago and I will be finding a new place to stay in the morning. I was booked in a room WITHOUT A BED. Isn't the reason you book a hotel so you can have a bed?! NO ONE mentioned this to me when I booked nor checked in and I had to call the front desk from the room after trying to open three different locked doors and ask where my bed was only to be told "there isn't one. You would sleep on the pull out couch". This is a HOTEL not couch surfing. I shockingly demanded a bed. And there were two rooms available. A premium room and standard. The front desk guy offered me the nicer room to try and make up for everything but he had to get authorization for a higher rate room. The manager said no. So here I am. I stayed here for my ski trip in 2010. I picked it because it's almost like a ski in and ski out resort, but the rate was a notch cheaper than the Grand Summit. They have shuttle service running between the lodge and the Grand Summit all day long. I was surprised to find out the lodge was only 3 years old. The double queen bedroom was very roomy and well maintained. The service was very good. My package deal offered free, full on breakfast buffet at a few locations at Grand Summit, so it was very convenient to fuel up for the day. I'm deducting one star for a couple things. 1) They need to change the bed's head board. It's got all sorts of pointy sculptures that can be very dangers. 2) The mattress was waaaaaaay too soft. I almost wanted to sleep on the floor instead. read more

The rooms are nice enough, but the hall carpets have stains and the front desk is not very helpful. The walls are really thin and we heard the people next door having sex. It was not just the occasional moan; the walls are so thin we could hear them discuss condom usage. When we asked the front if there was anything they could do they said they were sorry but, no. Silverado lodge was the PERFECT place to make base while we visited the Park City area. Rooms were clean and restocked daily (with great coffee!) and the hot tub/sauna/ steam room were awesome to relax in after a day on the slopes! Hands down, the Staff made the visit worth 5 stars for us!! We only gave it 4.5 because there wasn't a bar/cafe to grab a breakfast sandwich, snack or beer without leaving the grounds. However, you feel so at home here you may not want to leave! The concierge and customer service crew were absolutely FABULOUS and Id recommend this place for anyone to stay! (Shout out to John who was pulling multiple 24hr shifts (or so it seemed)...always polite and friendly and welcomed us home or bid us well with a smile and full of good info!) You really don't even need a car because they have a complimentary shuttle to the slopes and into Main Street that is very convenient! Overall felt like we got a great deal with the lodge! read more

We just finished up our third trip to Park City and our third stay at The Silverado. On our first trip we stayed in a studio suite with Murphy bed. While the layout of the room was awkward we were very comfortable and really enjoyed having a full kitchen so we could come into our room for a midday lunch break from the slopes. We were very pleased with our stay and returned the following year. The second time we stayed in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and sitting area. Again, we had a very comfortable stay. Our most recent stay we were in a basic room with a king sized bed. No kitchen this time around, which was really the only thing we missed. We probably wouldn't have even missed it, but due to an unanticipated surgery we weren't on the slopes this trip so we may have been a bit happier in the one bedroom suite this time around to have a seating area and kitchen since we were in our room a bit more than previous stays. We still had a very nice time, however, and the staff was very accommodating. They provided us with a toaster so we could have bagels for breakfast. The room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. If you needed additional supplies in between housekeeping, which happens in the middle of your stay, all you have to do is ask! The shuttle service around the resort and down to the transit hub is a very nice service. The hotel is walking distance to the slopes...but if you don't feel like walking up the hill to the lifts, the shuttle runs frequently. This is a reasonably priced stay in Park City. Service is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and it's in a great location. They were even kind enough to treat us to a bottle of bubbles and chocolate strawberries upon learning it was our anniversary. Very nice and unexpected gesture! read more

Hard to believe with the competition around here that this facility has the nerve to charge what it charges and offers no amenities, no daily housekeeping, no food, no store nothing! Everything is a shuttle ride to the grand summit. Though the staff is very nice it does not make up for it. The pool and jacuzzi were infested with dead flies. The steam room and sauna were not running 24/7 therefore smelt dank and moldy. So many other options in this wonderful community! read more

Just OK The staff are very friendly and nice but don't really know much about the lodge so, unless you speak with the manager (if he is there), there is not much they can do. The shuttle (and YES, you need to take the shuttle to the lifts if you have ski gear. The walk is short but uphill) drivers are especially nice. If you want to walk to slopes, try the Westgate or Grand Summit. The rooms are fine but dated. Still, you expect that at a ski resort. They really need to replace the pillows and beds. The rooms are very clean but there is not daily maid service. If you stay for a week, they provide mid-week. Yes, the lodge is expensive. All of Park City is really, really expensive. Restaurants are really expensive and have very average food. Everything is non-refundable! read more

My husband and I came here for my birthday which is in July, it was pretty nice but there were a few issues we had, being mid july the air conditioning didn't work very well and wouldnt go under 77 we called and maintenace came but it didnt really do much, we had some friends staying down the hall that had the same issue, I thought it was just our room but I guess its all the rooms, The walls are pretty thin so we heard babies crying a lot, and in the shower it looked like they had put cleaner on but didn't wipe it up... they waved the resort fee for our friends that were staying there that had issues with the air but not for us, the rooms are small but nice and did have a fridge coffee maker and microwave but for a 400 dollar weekend i would have guessed it would have been nicer. read more

We were very disappointed in room, very small. We stayed only one night during the summer to get away from the heat in the Salt Lake valley. Our room didn't have an actual bed, only pull down bed from the wall. There was no access outside - we were hoping for patio. We went down to front desk because no one answered when we called and asked about a room with a patio. We were told there were none available because all the ones with patios are privately owned. Realized in the evening there was only 1 pillow and no blankets. Had to call the front desk TWICE to ask for more. Beware, they charge resort fees on top of room charge. You can find better places in Park City! read more

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They don't clean the rooms between days, I was here for 4 nights and 5 days and the room over that much time got messy and was unlike any other lodging experience. There's only 1 tiny trash can in the room and they NEVER took it out, so I had to use grocery bags for additional trash. The staff wasn't very helpful, front desk had very unwelcoming attitudes, the man at the desk to check your luggage was wonderful but that's pretty much it. The fitness studio was good, and the pool but that's pretty much it. Wouldn't recommend staying here. read more

Hotel is pretty outdated and not as clean as we hoped. DO NOT come to this resort if you are planning on spending time at the pool/hot tub. The patio surrounding the pool and the poolside chairs were covered in bird poo (which means it's in the water) and the pool itself and the hot tub were both filthy and grimy. The hotel has a nice fitness center, but the steam room/sauna were very dirty. read more

Avoid avoid avoid if u like it quiet. Zero sound barrier. I was in a lockout room and I had the studio. It was like I was sharing a room with my people next to me. I could hear every single word of every conversation. I could hear the tv... them cooking and running water ect. I complained because was next to a family w toddlers and I had to hear every little cry and complaints. The manager was very nice and moved me to another room. I had the exact same issues and was basically sharing a room with people I didn't know.. but at least they were adults this time. I tried to email park city resorts without success regarding the issues. I didn't get much rest due to the noise. Otherwise the place was nice for the price. Very close to mountain and had a town shuttle for evenings. Full kitchen in studio. If you are into hostels w perks. This ones for u I guess. read more

When we checked in I was told they do not offer daily cleaning of the rooms if we need something call down to the front desk. Upon arrival our key cards did not work,went back down to get them fixed. The room is small and dark. The blinds were broke. They only have one ice machine for the entire lodge which was out of ice. Called down to have them send up two pillows as the two we had were flat and also asked if they had ice. Air conditioner works great but very loud. Overall for the canyons resort there are much better options then Silverado. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a 3-night reservation here in October for late December. In November, he got into a ski accident and was paralyzed. I know when I booked it said non-refundable, but many, many companies who say this will still offer a rain check to use at a later time. When I called to see if I could get a refund or at least change dates of my booking to a later time they would not accommodate me. I cannot believe after knowing these extraordinary circumstances they wouldn't offer me any kind of help, especially at such a difficult time. $528 is a lot of money when you're living out of a hospital in fear for a loved one, it'd be a relief to get something back from this hotel but they did not care. I won't recommend them to anyone. read more

Having never been to Utah, we were looking forward to our stay. The resort area is beautiful and convenient. Easy to access the lifts, rentals, as well as a few places to grab food. The Silverado itself is ok. Ok room with no dresser in which to put any clothes... 5 hooks for ski gear and a closet, which we made work. Fridge and microwave is always good, as well as a tv and fireplace. Super thin walls, one trash can which is in the bathroom, and no housekeeping service unless requested. Good products, crap hair dryer. Zero pressure in our shower. Our room overlooked the lifts, which was cool, but it also overlooks a road with a lot of traffic which starts early. I'm not a light sleeper, and it woke me up. They do have water in the lobby and coffee in the mornings. Girl at the front desk was generally unhelpful and didn't seem to want to be there (the rest of the staff seems much better)! Overall we did enjoy our stay, but it's not because this place was awesome. Just a good location. read more
