I am sure this place is bustling in the winter time. Pass by this roundabout and see the cabriolet from the top of your PC Mountain to the historic downtown every day. Didn't realize that PC was one of the top or as I have heard from some the skiing capital of the world.

We went to both Canyons Village and Park City Mountain Village, and we liked Canyons Villages much better. The runs were wider here, and the vibe was a bit more cozy and scenic compared to Mountain Village which was a bit barren and at times felt unsafe on the run. The runs in Park City Resorts were better for skiers than snowboarders. We had a hard time finding racks to put our boards up when taking a break at the lodge, but we still had a good time here.

Beautiful! Such a delight to go snowboarding. It does seem to be home to the skiers, but still complimentary for snowboarders. The village is small, cozy and yet has just enough of places to eat and drink. You're mainly here to enjoy the slopes and have a good time. Yes the weekend did take an hour wait to get on the lift but we stayed for the week days too and that was less busy. Highly recommend.

Amazing spot to go and see snow. They have a lift from the bottom but finding parking is unreal. Get there early or you'll be circling around for 30 plus minutes. Amazing views though.

Green ski runs and dancer blue easy.

Great for intermediate skiers with mostly blue and blacks. Some hotels blocks away from ski lifts and multiple level access points/hills so not ideal ski in/out. Newer though and nice facilities. Steakhouse couldn't get reservations months out. Other couple restaurants probably can get in. Has a few shops and ski rentals onsite. Base camp not huge hangout during day (like Breckenridge) and most daily hang out spots are smaller lodges on mountain. Few mile Uber to Park City Main Street for dinner. Closest to airport but Park City and Deer Valley only a few miles up road. Deer Valley ski only and has some more greens. Dry season for snow in Utah but was convenient with Salt Lake City so close.

We had a free day and some time before our flight back to NY, so we grabbed some one-day tickets and gave Canyons a run...very glad we did! This place definitely has a more "polished" feel to it than nearby Park City Mountain Resort, but the snow at PCMR was equal if not better during our stay. The lifts are indeed very spread out, and their are some bizarre tricks you have to employ to access certain runs and lifts. For example, we took a couple chairs up on the new orange bubble lift, and Initially, I thought It'd be foolish to get off at the mid-mountain stop, but there are a handful of nice groomers you can only access by getting off there. Also, while we had a blast cutting our own runs off the 9990 lift, if you venture too far, you end up on the wrong side of a ridge in the topography and you're stuck taking two other chairs just to get back to where you started...just some things to keep in mind. Staff were friendly and quick to give advice and directions for getting to certain areas, but it'd be nice if they employed the color-coding they use over at Park City to easily distinguish the lines in the mountain and areas you can/can't get to from certain chairs. Overall, we caught a great day, bluebird skies, fresh tracks in the backcountry areas, and nice morning corduroy by the base and off the Tombstone lifts...The town of Park City and proximity to SLC are added bonuses. Definitely worth a visit - next time we'll have to allocate some more days to fully explore!

Judging by its first glance value. The Canyons resort of Park City is probably where the posh and priviledged come to play. Hilton Vacations hotel, a heated pool as a center piece as we fly by on our standing open gondola. Once you get off, you climb into another Gondola where it takes you to the middle of The Canyons universe. Where the slopes are groomed very nicely and the runs are extremely interesting. The slopes go under and over some roads which make it an interesting run none the less. Plus the open food quarry at some points in the mountain. Makes for a cool setting for some lunch. I like this resort a lot. Not because it has snooty qualities, but it's because it's actually beautiful. Not a bad slope anywhere. Seems like every run has its own very defined characteristic. Anyways, this is a great resort and I would recommend it for anybody who loves to ski or snowboard. The place is the truth!! I'm glad we spent the second day on Big Mountain February here at The Canyons. It's even better here than the Park City side. (",)

Bring your wallet or pay the toll!

Make sure you bring your lift pass! Or you will have to pay the Moose Toll! They sell chapstick at the lodge.

My coolest image from the Canyons! This mountain rocks!

This place is definitely skier's heaven, because there were TONS of flats, I mean seriously, between one run to the next, there's always one flat part in the middle. I even tried to catch some speed in hoping I can fly through it. Alas, I still couldn't make it, it's so freaking long flats. At one point, the flat was so ridiculous, me and my bf tried to just drag our board, instead of taking it off completely, we just kept hopping on to it like we're skate boarding, my bf's plastic strap binding came off. Thank God the repair service was very nice and fixed it immediately for about $10, so that's one great service there. Just like Jason F., I came here after a blizzard, so snow coverage was great, no long wait on sunday, the bubble wasn't really heated as I'd heard around, but boy the temperature was -7F when we boarded. The view was really great at the Canyons, because all the runs situation in between many canyons, so you can see many different views from the mountain, but it tends to get foggy on the top and very sunny at the bottom. You also need to take open gondola just to get to the first lift, unless you stay in their resorts. I'm not sure if I'll be back here soon, because Park City suits me better as a snowboarder. Service wise, this park was great, the ticket is a bit pricier than Park City, but we got great deals from Utah Avalanche Center for almost 40% off the regular day ticket price. So, I'm not really regretting my visit here as I got to ride on the orange bubble twice, it's one of the most interesting chairlift I've seen so far in US resorts.

Walkable into town - really cute Main Street. Perfect location if you are skier (when season is open). Units were quiet for most part - however could def hear the folks directly above us. Cons: Couch beds like paper - do not recommend for anyone outside of tiny young children. Only a few elevators - super slow. Parking spaces are tight- had regular size suv and would not go any larger. They want you to run DW, take out trash, wash towels, gather linens upon leaving when you are an owner. While I want to be helpful I'm also on vacation, have paid for the timeshare, pay ownership maintenance dues for upkeep and should not have to feel like I need to fully clean upon leaving. We did help but the only trash cans were in parking level and we were on 3rd floor - very inconvenient. Didn't like the fact they asked all that.

There were hoards of people all with large groups. We learned that this is a vacation club & there were no perks. There is no breakfast, no club room, parking is $25 daily ... We were given a property map, restaurant recommendations, & told to go to the Welcome Center. At the welcome center we were given a packet with 10% off a few shops and restaurants. We were offered a deal to come back for 3 days paying $200 & additional $300 or $400 when we stay. Check-in was at 4 o'clock and check out at 10 in the morning . We drove in reverse to the underground parking lot & went to the Alpine lodge room 5408. There are 6 lodges with restaurants, a pool & fitness center at the other end of the property. Our small room had a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes for 2, a safe, an outdated drip coffee pot for one cup, 1 luggage rack & no view. I was surprised that a van was bringing guests from another Marriott to our hotel. The pool was packed with lots of children. The water pressure was good, the king bed was plush & comfortable, and the air-conditioning kept us cool. The ceiling fan over a bed was a plus. I discovered that a vacation club isn't for us. All of the amenities here we have at home. After traveling for almost a month, the room was very tight. There was no housekeeping nor refreshing of items in the room. We went to a local market to shop for coffee, milk, soap, napkins... Marriott provided a list of where to take out our garbage recyclables and how to change bedding... on the way to the garbage room there was broken glass.

My expectations for this hotel was kind of low based the things I heard and from a previous stay in another city. Sure, the room was minimalistic and did not have much furniture in it. A sofa in the room would've made the room smaller. All the room had in it was a bed, table, chair, refrigerator and an ironing board. But, that was enough to make it an relaxing room for us. The bathroom was adequate. The shower had both a fancy shower faucet, and hand shower. Korres body wash, shampoo and conditioner was a nice change from the usual Marriott special soaps. The only strange thing about the bathroom was the square toilet. As a Titanium Elite member, breakfast was provided downstairs in their dining room. Breakfast was better than what I had heard. I had heard that it was a Euro breakfast with not much to eat except for a bunch of lunchmeat, toast and yogurt. The lunchmeat turned out to be manchago, brie and cheddar cheese, dry salami, prosciutto and oven roasted turkey. They did have yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, croissants and scones. In addition to these items, they also had hot items like a proscuitto toast and a freshly cooked waffle with fruit. The breakfast was much better than most of the Bonvoy brands. Their gym had treadmills, ellipticals and dumb bells. There wasn't much in there, but, enough to get a good workout. Even I didn't use it, the pool did look nice. From check in to check out, service was very good. The front desk was good at meeting our needs. The restaurant staff was able to meet my needs for breakfast. I was impressed to see that the GM of the hotel worked in the restaurant in the mornings when they were shorthanded. It was a good hotel for us and a great stay.
