They did, so I called at 8 am and was given a same day 4-hour window from 10-2 (on a Monday no less). Unethical. Tech was knowledgeable, but they quote 500 dollars to run a camera line for a drain I had previous quotes on...and, I already had pulled the toilet myself. When I told them that was way outside normal pricing, they asked me to share the other companys' quotes! They wasted my time and they wasted theirs. I am still trying to get resolution on work and damage done to my home back in october 2024 had plumber come out very late at night and he was in very much of rush ,about two hours said had line cleaned out but his snake was stuck and was getting very dark he would come back the next day and get it out,i told them have to work said no problem .so i said ok then next thing you know had message on my cell phone called the plumber and said they need to get into house he said it was really stuck and not sure were snake went told them there was no plumber on other side of house so told them to get key from my neighbor .then boy what surprise get home there is holes in my walls in my pantry and bedroom wall then was told my responsible for repair then saw in my wall they had torn up my HVAC VENT System of cost of $820.00 then in turn they give me bill for 1,265.77 for twelve hours of damage they did to my house so they said they would take helper off of 267.75 so know i have two bills 909.65 they want and then pay for repairs to my HVAC System and i never signed anything to this. i am still trying to get them to pay on my repairs and pay them for there screw up. After previous excellent experiences with Silverado, called them again to install a p trap on my washing machine and swap out a shower cartridge. Keith and Kevin came out and got the job done quickly, correctly and were friendly to talk to the whole time. I then found out it would be best to install a PRV and expansion tank at my home to help with water pressure. Keith and Kevin came out again to do the work and got it done perfectly. Everything was installed and calibrated correctly, cleaned and done right. They're extremely knowledgeable and friendly and a pleasure to work with. The plumber sent made an elbow from copper to replace a Pex pipe which had a pin point hole and leaked into our ceiling. He came in a timely manner and fixed the problem effectively. He could have cleaned the drywall dust and removed the insulation (which was wet) but our plumbing problem was repaired read more

First experience was good enough that I tried them a second time when I needed a plumber, but they dropped the ball, never showed up, and blamed the scheduler when I called back 2 hours after their appointment window to see if they were still going to show up. I came home to my shower having sewage backed up and the toilet not flushing. The entire home stunk to high heaven. Any time I washed my hands or flushed that water would cause nasty sewage to back up into my shower. This issue has been ongoing for months and the other plumber had not resolved the issue on previous service calls. We indicated that it was an emergency and still they wanted us to wait over 17 hours. As if I was supposed to get any sleep with this stench? And what about the toilet not working or being able to shower? We called SILVERADO and TOM picked up and came to my home, within half an hour! He was professional but also told poop/ plumber jokes to ease my anxiety. He didn't waste one minute and got straight to work. Tom Is a master at his trade having over 40 years in his trade. We will now be using Silverado. He mentioned he trained the other plumbers in the company so next time, even if we don't get TOM on a service call, we know he has trained all the other plumbers and that we will get excellent service. I really dislike when companies strategically have assessments done when they know they are not able to resolve the issue. I had been experiencing air in the plumbing lines and the call center dispatch let me know that this was something that their plumbers could look into as it might be a leak. 109 useless dollars later, the plumber showed up for all of 2 minutes to look at the meter outside and say that nothing could be done. He suggested to contact a leak detection service instead (wrong). To be fair though. The plumber was very polite and on time. I guess that's a plus. Compare this service by calling Valentine Plumbing service who said to call the city and ask if there was any maintenance going on. They didn't push an assessment in person nor did they charge me. Leak Detection of America also told me that this was not caused by a leak. No thanks! read more

A few years back we had a wonderful plumber - totally honest and upfront. When he decided to focus within his own area, he diligently researched firms to recommend to his valued customers, and gave us Silverado. The initial contact was wonderful. The owner, Art Cake, came to our house and was so personable and trustworthy, as he went above and beyond to help us understand our plumbing issue. We continued to use Silverado for our primary and 6 rental homes. One time, we had an emergency at a rental on the afternoon of Christmas Eve, and they came and resolved it. Time passed, and as we are in the market for a water heater and were looking at tankless, I thought of them first. However, my husband was reluctant to use them, since he (the person who met most with contractors at the rentals) had had interaction with a worker he did not like. Since I'd had such good experiences with Silverado, we made them one of our three estimates. First, we were given a 10a-2p window. Just before 2p, I phoned to see if all was still on track. The 'dispatcher' said she'd have the technician contact (phone or text) with an ETA, and we'd be moved to the 2p-6p window. We heard nothing. (We each put our day on hold, with much not getting done, and carried our phones everywhere all day.) Getting close to 6p, I phoned and got the answering service. She took all the info, and said she'd contact the technician, and he'd contact us with an ETA. Still nothing! At a little after 7pm, the doorbell rang, and it was the tech and his helper. The guy was also the one my husband had found to be difficult. At this point, we'd been waiting for 9 hours, with zero contact! I mentioned that it'd been 9 hrs, and the guy said he phoned both numbers, AND left messages. Hellllooo??? We had no missed calls on our phones, and no messages. No texts, either. Did this liar not know how phones work? I told him we had no calls or messages, and he just ignored that. He was arrogant and somewhat rude, never apologizing for the 9-hour wait with no contact. He did send a very sparse estimate after. I sent a message, complaining somewhat about our treatment, via the company webpage. Nothing was received back. In fact, I'd already gotten the distinct impression that the company didn't care about its customers, anyway. I decided to see if Art Cake was still the owner, since the company was projecting a very bad image (so very unlike him). I was saddened to find Art in an obituary. While he was a young middle-age, he'd died suddenly in 2022. This seemed to explain everything. I will never call on Silverado again. It was an easy decision not to work with a company who is okay with its employees lying straight to a customer's face. How could they ever be trusted? My advice is to avoid Silverado completely. There are other good companies in town. **UPDATE** Why are there responses to complaints from Art Cake in 2023 and 2024, the wonderful owner of Silverado who'd made it a great company, when Art died in 2022?!?
