At a gathering, Phong overheard me complaining about the thousands of dollars i was paying for my car insurance; he approached me and told me he was an agent and that he could help... i thought, right, with my crazy driving record, and my car, there is no way he can reduce my payments and offer a competitive product. He called me back with a quote and I was sure he had increased my deductible and downgraded my insurance; cause there was no way he could offer the same level of coverage for over a thousand dollars less. I went through the policy with him and not only had he not reduced my coverage, but he had also improved it. Given the price, I was afraid that the services would be inferior or lacking. I have to tell you, going with Phong was the best decision I made. Fortunately, i had not had any claims since I switched, so i had not truly experienced the service. A week ago, my car was hit by a bumper that was bouncing around in traffic on the freeway. The SUV in front of me ran over it and catapulted it into my car. It damaged my front bumper, hood, front quarter panel, roof, and my windshield had to be replaced. My car is not even a year old yet, so I was not very happy to see all this damage. Dealt with him as the leasing agent on a property. The offering on the property was posted at 3am. Requested a tour at 7:30am the same day. No communication. Called at 12:30pm and was told that he was busy, and to have an agent take us through. Got our agent to take us through the house at 2pm, and was told application submissions were being accepted up until 4pm. Application submitted in time with an offer above asking price. Next day we find out that the house had already been rented to one of his clients at 9am that same day for the original asking price (he got both ends of the deal). So we were lied to that the house was available, and were tricked into submitting our personal information under false pretenses. I also question whether his client was presented with our offer, since we were offering above asking, credit scores are over 750 and were available to move in at any time.
