Great selection of flavors and toppings. I love the dole whip and tropical sorbets they offer. They also have a decent selection of yogurts. My only complaint was that the cups were absolutely huge and the toppings aren't labeled. Those two things made it a little tough when trying to help my daughter pour herself a reasonable amount of yogurt and help her pick her toppings. This place is Terrible! The small cup is HUGE! To me so you have to pay more!! I bought 3 cups that didnt even fill the bottom hardly and it was 30.00!! This place has the worst customer service. Came in and asked for a sample since there are no sample cups for customers, no big deal. Asked for one more sample and got an eye roll, starting to be a deal. Before the employee even came from behind the counter, she asked if we were going to sample anything else, and if we were sure we were going to sample anything else. Worst yogurt place in the valley. All "dairy" based yogurt was icey. Couldn't sample so I had no idea it would be icey. Be careful, once it's in the cup they make you pay. I didn't want icey, wanted creamy ( which most yogurts are ) . The worker made me pay for something I didn't want. That's why they have no trash cans in sight. It's never really been good, but always expensive. I've been a few times, but only because I wanted frozen yogurt and I was already in the area. I never get a lot but always pay $5-6 for mediocre yogurt. But this last time, the yogurt was so bland it tasted like really cold milk. What's weird too is it left a very odd taste in my mouth. Very expensive to be so bland and odd. Then, I had stomach discomfort the rest of the night and into the next morning. Needless to say, I'll never be back. Do yourself a favor and keep walking 300 feet to the yogurt isle in the Vons next door. I tried out Simon's since it replaced Golden Spoon that was at this location. I cannot see this place existing beyond it's lease since the owner has not addressed anyone's complaints or concerns and the value just is not there. Some other reviewer on Yelp put down people complaining that you do not get napkins - that they just have a Kleenex box if you ask for one. Well, this has not changed and it is very weak that a basic and reasonable item is not provided. The business could buy a pack of napkins at the Vons next door or a year's worth at Smart and Final (dispensers are there too). I tried several flavors in my dish, including a gelato. They were okay, but nothing special. Golden spoon had about 5 sizes with prices on a price list with equally good product vs this mystery put it on a scale (or weigh it as you go along filling it) system. It is geared to rack up big charges with a large container and no option for smaller containers. Plays upon peoples tendency to fill a plate or bowl and not a sustainable business model since repeat customers keep a place in business. Golden Spoon posted typical calorie and fat content by flavor, as well as prices. This place could too if they wanted to do so, but they do not it would seem. Golden Spoon actually had service with people serving you while Simon's is self service. Self service may be okay if informing the customer better. Go on to Vons and you will see prices, calories and fat etc. on the container, and self service - take from the freezer and go to a cashier. I spent over $12.00 at Simon's by filling up the container a bit below the upper lip - no toppings. Oops. At Vons there are large Yogurts as low as $3.99, gelatos at $3.50 and up to $7.00, etc. Spoons may be available in the Deli area for soups and sides. If Simon's figures out how to post info for customers such as example sizes visually ounces x price per oz = estimated total and calories fat etc as well as real napkins, then maybe a third star would be merited. Example photos with a disclaimer perhaps. At least a smaller container option should be offered. Most people got small or regular at Golden Spoon - but they had a choice of mini, small, regular, large, or pint. There were deals there some days, such as Thursdays, that kept regular customers coming back every week. Golden Spoon was five stars at this location and it was a good value, but times have changed and Simon's would be hard pressed to gain two more stars. Hopefully the owner makes some changes and succeeds. I wish them well, but I will not be back for the foreseeable future. read more

I went back to the sponsored post and saw people were tagging their friends wanting to take advantage of the cheap price so I responded to their comments saying the promo is no longer valid because I tried going and ended up paying full price. I checked the post later that day and looks like the owner deleted all comments yet he's keeping the post saying they're the cheapest froyo store in all the US. Again, false advertisement and it's like he wants everyone to come in only to be tricked into buying expensive yogurt. Pretty sure his store is more expensive than the other froyo places in town. Try Yogurtland, Yogurt Island, or Yogurt Factory instead. read more
