The gentleman that actually did my MRI was great. But besides that this place gets an F from me. As I'm checking out with the front desk I let the lady know that I was told by my doctor to get the results on a CD before leaving. That lady said "ok" and just let me stand there for close to a half hour. Not once did she get up to get it, look at her computer to retrieve it. She put zero effort into getting this for me. Now if they were busy, I would totally understand. This place was dead besides myself and 2 other people. So after a half hour I look at her and say "well I guess I'll leave without it" she nodded right at me like she agreed that I should leave. Let's fast forward to a few days later when I'm supposed to goto my doctor for the results. I call the Dr's office to make sure they received them, because in 3 days my insurance is being canceled do to my company being hit hard from COVID. So, the Dr's office says they haven't sent them in yet. Now I have to reschedule this appointment with now only 2 days left of having insurance (I made my insurance situation known to both my Dr and SimonMed) I called again and they said they would send them while I'm on the phone. I wait a few hours, call my Dr's and low and behold, they still didn't send them. So I call back a third time and speak to a totally different person (every time it's someone new who passes the buck) This lady says the same thing "don't know why the last person didn't send it, but she would right then" Time passes and still not sent. Now I had to pay $500 out of pocket for these MRIs that my insurance didn't cover. If they don't get their crap together I just threw that money right out the window, because I'm not going to keep paying for ASR's appointments to have them say the MRI was never sent. Long story short, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Right now people are losing their houses, cars, jobs and have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. These people could care less about any of that. They for sure don't know or care about customer service or following through with anything they say. It's sad that a place that's supposed to help people treats people like such trash. Updated: 5/6/2020 So, After making an appointment with my Dr to review my MRI's. I was told that I had to go and get my MRI's on a disc from these guys for him to read because sometimes "Those guys miss stuff". So I call and asked if I could pick up my disc and an Itemized invoice I need for my insurance to cover the $461 I paid out of pocket. Darse was the lady that answered the phone. She told me I was going to have to pay $25 for my disc and that I had to ask my insurance company for the itemized invoice (the one my insurance company is asking me for). I explained that they need it, She told me to ask them for it?? Makes zero sense. So I drive up to the location Cheyenne and ask the tell the young lady at the desk I need my records on a disc and an itemized invoice (the one Darse was very adamant, and pretty rude about me not being able to get from them. less than 10 minutes later the young lady gave both requested items without issue or asking for any money. Seems like Darse needs to be retrained or flipping burgers. read more

I had to do about 4 hours of MRIs and being a self diagnosed claustrophobic you can imagine the dread however Debbie the MRI technician at SimonMed on Cheyanne & Buffalo was the kindest most comforting MRI Tech I have ever had she made this dreadful experience more then just deal-able she made it very pleasant. Not only was she super kind she help correct an error from my doctors office and did so in a timely manner. My whole experience at SimonMed from staff to office location was very nice. Las Vegas has a better imaging option!!!! I had never heard of SimonMed when I booked my first appointment--a diagnostic mammogram. I was surprised that I didn't have to wait as long as I thought for that first appointment. Everyone from the front desk to the people in back who conduct the tests, treated me in a kind, personal way that has not been my experience in Las Vegas. After learning I had breast cancer, I returned to this location for several more tests. They have been very helpful and patient in giving me my tests results, and I found them to be prompt with appointments. I almost don't want everyone to know about this place--because I'm worried it will get crowded--but I have too many friends being put off weeks for imaging and biopsies at other imaging places. SimonMed is a better choice! read more

I have permanently switched my CT Scans and MRIi's to the Cheyenne Rd location. The appointments are close, all staff are excellent at their jobs and they have an online portal to schedule appointments. I'm always seen quickly at SimonMed Imaging and always refer my friends/neighbors to SimonMed Imaging. In my "referrals, I remind them that appointments with "a competitor" feels like a "cattle call". SimonMed shows respect to me and my time. Respect is a life quality that I find important, especially for health care providers. read more

Test took 2 hours. Was not informed it would take so long. Tech seemed inexperienced. Test results are "incomplete" after that full 2 hours and I cannot get anyone on the phone to help me. Go somewhere else. read more

The best experience I have ever had in any medical facility. We scheduled an appointment for a CDT scan for my husband(toughest tantrum throwing kid I have). Front office was super friendly via phone and upon check in process. Cash fee is super affordable. My husband went into panic mode the minute IV went in and he was informed he'd be going through a tube. Almost passed out crazy. Debbie and Selina were awesome!!! Kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. They made my husband laugh and feel very comfortable through the whole process. Explained everything in detail step by step and gave him time in between to calm down. Thank you team for your true caring in your patients. I was just in to the Cheyenne/Buffalo office for 3 separate tests. Mammogram, Ultrasound, and a CT scan. I was dreading having to be there for hours trying to get all of them done. My appts were for 10:45, 11:00, and 11:15 with an arrival time of 10:15 for paperwork. To my surprise I was called back almost immediately! I had all 3 tests completed and was out the door by 11:15! From the moment I stepped in the door every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and professional. Not to mention being a self paying patient, their prices were almost half of what the other imaging centers wanted. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to save on their out of pocket and to receive excellent customer service! read more

My review of three stars is an average of the time I had to be in the waiting room (1 star) and the actual experience during the scheduled procedure. (5 stars) My appointment time was 8:45am. I arrived 10 minutes early as requested. I was unable to check in yet, because the receptionist had a patient at the counter. I was told to wait. I waited 25 minutes before he finally asked me my name - while he still had the same patient standing at the counter all this time. Then, when she finally finished, I was asked to check in after waiting over 30 minutes. At that time, he decided I need to complete some paperwork before checking in. I then waited another 30 minutes before the tech called me for the procedure. I was in the waiting room for an hour. That could have been one more hour of sleep instead of having an 8:45am appointment time. It was also one more hour of fasting unnecessarily. As I can recall, I had a similar experience during my other appointment with SimonMed. However during that appointment, I waited 2 hours for my procedure. It is unacceptable! The ultrasound tech was very professional, thorough and informative. He was sure to check all required areas from all angles to be sure of a full examination. For this part of my experience at SimonMed, I am giving 5 stars. read more

I'd give them 50 stars if I could. Let me be clear....I fear nothing. Well, nothing but MRI's in a claustrophobic tube. OK, that and maybe scorpions and rattlesnakes but that's a story for another day. I went to the facility before booking the MRI to see the "Wide Bore" MRI for myself to see if it would be a 'fit' for me. Selina (Front Desk Pro) was kind and friendly and called Debbie (MRI Pro) up to take me to see the machine. Not only did she not treat me as the nuisance I felt like, she walked me through the procedure, let me get in the machine and made sure I was comfortable. Then Debbie and Amanda (CT Pro) asked me why I was having the tests were ordered and suggested that I speak to the radiologist at Simon Med to make sure I was getting the right studies and brought me in to see the doctor! Talk about above and beyond. Simply incredible. And the punchline? One of the tests would have been a complete waste of time, stress and money so I was able to get the proper test ordered because these people all cared enough to address the issue and help me find a solution. I booked my appointment that day. When I showed up for the tests, Jon (MRI & CT Pro with 40 years in the game) did both of them. Equally amazing. It was the easiest MRI I've ever done and the atmosphere at this place and the people who work here simply cannot be better. While I hope to never need another MRI (or any other test for that matter!) this will be my spot even though there are at least a dozen places closer to me. They treat you like an absolute VIP, are as friendly and professional as you will find and have the best, updated equipment in Vegas. Go here. read more

I love this Simon Med. I've had an ultrasound, x-rays, and CT scans and they were great. Last week I had to get an MRI of the liver. I was so nervous and worried about my claustrophobia. The technician let me check out the MRI weeks in advance and let me ask a ton of questions about what was going to happen. On the day of the MRI I was anxious but determined. The technician, Jan, was so reassuring. He looked me right in the eye and said "I'm going to get you through this." He made absolutely sure I knew what was going to happen and he talked me through the entire time. I felt very safe and the MRI wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I highly recommend this facility. The staff is fantastic, and they run on time which means a lot to me. You won't regret coming here. read more

4/5/2018 Two weeks ago I showed up for a scheduled appointment only to be told the test was was not approved. I contacted my doctor and my insurance company. No one could explain why there was no approval on record with Simon Imaging. The approval and scheduling process began a second time. Last week I was given the all clear from Simon Imaging. An appointment was scheduled for this morning. Earlier in the week I received a call from Simon Imaging confirming my appointment. Today I arrived for my appointment, completed paperwork, and after waiting a while I was informed that my test was not approved. Where did the approval go? Why did the schedule me if there was no insurance approval? After waiting another 20 minutes staff at Simon had no answers What a shame. Perhaps the problem is staff is permitted to use their cell phones at work. Again what a shame. read more

On 1/30/18 I got an ultrasound at your W. Cheyenne location. PATRICIA GONZALES was very efficient and knowledgeable. Over and above that Ms. Gonzales was very friendly and helpful. AMANDA CALLAWAY was my ultrasound tech. Her calm demeanor was most comforting. Because of her professionalism I was put at ease and made to feel that I mattered as a person, not just another patient. A couple of months after this, my dr. wanted me to get a liver scan. I refused to go to Steinberg Diagnostics because of prior bad experiences, so opted to return to SimonMed. Once again, a great experience because of both Ms. Gonzales and Ms. Callaway. I would highly recommend SimonMed's W. Cheyenne facility. The personnel are fantastic!! read more

I was scheduled for an MRI and an Xray of my shoulder. Debra was my MRI tech and she was awesome! I went to this location due to the fact they have an MRI machine with a bigger opening. I have claustrophobia and even with the bigger opening I was really nervous. Debra was very patient and informative and made my scan as comfortable as possible. Amanda was my Xray tech and she was great as well. The whole staff makes you feel at ease and they listen to your fears and concerns and do everything they can to help. Had some sudden pain on my bright side under my ribs. Doctor sent me over to Simon Med on Cheyenne and Buffalo, right across the street. I wasn't thrilled about having to go, or having to take my shirt off...lol...I'm just not comfortable with the whole process of being around doctors, nurses, technicians, etc....but let me tell you, Amanda, the ultrasound tech was nothing short of perfect!! She made me feel very comfortable, and she was a pleasure to meet. Very professional and very nice. I give her 12 out of 10 stars. It's great when companies have people like here on their staff. She's the kind of person that makes you want to take a moment and thank publicly or write a raving review on Yelp!! I had an appointment for an MRI. You would assume they don't bother me from the number of them I've had over the past 7 years. When I checked in Patria greeted me with a huge smile. When I told her how nervous I was she attempted to put me at ease. Debbie was my tech and she was incredible. When I told her that I needed her to talk to me and if she could tell me how much time each little portion of the test was as I counted in my head to help distract me she immediately told me that of course she would. She went above and beyond in communicating with me. This was so different than an appointment I had at Pueblo Imaging a couple of months ago when the tech told me he wouldn't do what I wanted because it extended the time my MRI would take. Because of Debbie this was the least stressful MRI I have had in years. Thank you Patria and Debbie. Because of the 2 of you I will be booking ALL future MRI appointments with you. read more
