I have to get a CT scan of my lungs every 6 months. My doctor has always sent the request to DR, but this time it went to SimonMed Imaging. The name and plce were new to me. Irt was a bit farther driving here, but it was not incovenient. The suite is on the first floor near the entrance., There are signs so one shouldn't have any trouble. I was early. I had done the paperwork online so I did not have to sit there with the dumb dlipboard and get my info ready for the forms. The people were called in the order of their appointments. I was called and the gentleman who did the scan was polite and genial. Within 5 or so minutes, I was on my way out. I left the office about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Simon med is very aggressive in getting your appointment. They call several times a day. Then in reaching me they asked way too many questions - starting with "what's your REAL name", when I told them my name is "Tim". But that wasn't the end of it, I threatened to hang up after seven (wait, that REAL number is 7) minutes if these obnoxious questions - like why Isn't my doctor at the address they have on record. I called their management team:they'd make a note of my complaint, and then continued the robocalling without a response to my complaint. My friend like I (poor me - I always think it's just me) was referred to walk-in xray site that said no walk ins. I gave up and went to Pueblo Medical. Oh, look at your radiologist report fr Simon Med: I compared mine with same joint two (real = 2) years ago at Steinberg, and I swear it looked like a report from a first (1st)-year med student. read more

Almost a 1 star, but they are the ones who caught the neoplasm in my cerebellum. And i can view the images online, which is a plus. Outside of that, my experience with this place has been quite neglectful and even abusive. Starting with the 4 instances of my breasts (very detailed with nipples and all) in its own set on an MRI scan. I not only reported it to Tracy at SimonMed's compliance department, but i followed up with no resolution. Ive also pointed out that i need them to look for tonsillar ectopia, which was a finding in a previous scan from another imaging center. They have been ignoring this request repeatedly, DESPITE BEING ABLE TO SEE THE LOW LYING CEREBELLAR TONSIL IN MY SCAN! Then when i sent a message through the patient portal asking for an addendum, i was ignored. Nothing. Not a dang thing. I NEED the addendum! AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION WHEN USING SIMONMED. UPDATE: Customer service actually took the time to listen to the phone call tapes and agreed that I have been quoted one price and charged another. They then took the time to follow up and although it is taken over a month, they refunded me the difference in price! I am very grateful that they made this right and sincerely appreciate it. I called the number to make an appointment and they quoted me $315 for an MRI self-pay - she repeated this amount several times throughout our conversation, including at the very end when confirming the appointment. When I get to the facility for the appointment, I'm told it's $475. Take it or leave it! This is a bait and switch operation. Do not make an appointment there. Do not trust what they say as far as payment goes. I called ack once I got home to speak to the billing department and they will not even let me speak to a supervisor. She told me that I would have to talk to the facility because they made the mistake. Unbelievably bad service. read more

I came in today for a scheduled breast ultrasound with an order from my provider. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling frustrated, dismissed, and frankly, belittled. First, I waited over an hour past my appointment time with no explanation or update. I eventually had to go ask what was going on -- only then did anyone check on my status. When I was finally seen, I was questioned -- not once, but twice -- about why I wasn't getting a mammogram. I had clearly communicated during the scheduling call that I was only coming in for an ultrasound, as that was what my doctor ordered. Instead of honoring that, I was put on the spot and made to feel like I had to defend my own medical choices. Worse, the way I was spoken to came across as if I needed to be schooled or corrected -- as if I didn't understand what I was doing. It felt condescending, not informative. I wasn't refusing care; I was following a specific plan already discussed with my provider. I left feeling more stressed than reassured. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and listened to -- not second-guessed or pressured. I sincerely hope this facility takes patient communication and dignity more seriously moving forward. read more

Had a CT scheduled, got to the location as instructed. Checked in and was handed a clipboard with forms to fill out. I explained to the receptionist I had already done this online, and she said, "That does not work." WTF -- then why have it? I also noticed a foul odor in the establishment (smelled like sh**) and the place was grossly filthy. I would not let my dog in this place. One of the most disgusting medical establishments I have ever been in. Needless to say, I left totally disgusted. If I could have given them a ZERO, I would have. Just a nasty place. read more

The worse place to go for imaging. Even if you come early for your appointment, the wait is ridiculous. I've been waiting here close to 45 minutes. Paperwork filled out prior to appointment and pre-authorization obtained. They're inefficient here. Phone system also sucked as I had to make my appointment in person. Cant do it online coz I had to call. I called their 866 number and local facilities but they have a recording stating "technical difficulties" and to try again later. Ridiculous! I'll ask my doctor for another place to go next time. read more

I cannot recommend that anyone go to SimonMed for any type of imaging. I had a scan on February 6, 2025, and nearly a month later I have not received the report. I have called multiple times, and my physician has also called trying to get the report, but there is never any response. It was a waste of time and money for a scan that I truly needed. read more

Convenient location. In and out fairly quick. Charging a patient 3% to use a credit card is just flat out greed. Business's need to stop with this if you want people to spend money. Never used to be like this. Also male nurse didn't help me up when I was flat on my back after an MRI. Just stood there looking at me. These people are awful! Go anywhere but here if you care about your health. 1. I booked an appointment online via chat with a moron called "Aman." He gave me a same day appointment. I confirmed with him the appointment was today. He said yes. I said in 90 minutes from now, he said yes. 2. I take off work to get a scan due to my severe pain. Aman told me to get to the office 30 minutes before my 12:30 appointment. Of course Aman didn't tell me the office is closed then. There's a big sign that says the receptionist will be back at 12:30. 3. 12:30 some young angry woman with a scowl on her face "greets" me by asking "ID and insurance card." No hello, no how can I help you-nothing. I give her my ID, she says my appointment is not today. I told her I have it in writing, she didn't care. She refused to see me, refused to "squeeze me in" given their mistake, refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. 4. She did offer me a form to fill out, that I'm sure she would wipe her butt with the minute I left. I called SimonMed 800 number and they "took a complaint." 5. Who really gives a damn at this point, i missed work,they F'd up, and there will no no repercussions for anybody. I truly truly HATE this place. You'd get way better medical care in Tijuana. to the rich doctors that own this place and just see sick people as a way to make a buck, I guess you never took that Hippocratic oath in med school. My radiology facility of choice used to be simonmed because they would answer the phone, not like desert radiology or Steinberg radiology nobody ever answers the phone at those two places. Well now I've quit simonmed. All I'm trying to do is I call my local radiology office and I either get offshore scheduling department or Arizona scheduling department or some other state and they are quite rude. Why did you have to change anything? you used to have pleasant local people answering the phone so now I'm done with Simon Med.I'm going to have to take my records elsewhere and I have to find a new radiology facility to support my needs.. read more

I don't really have anything against their staff that I encountered in person. It is just everything else that makes SimonMed just awful. I don't remember if I have went to these guys before, but I will definitely remember after this experience. I do not ever want to come here again. I went in for my first mammogram. This was not such a bad first time experience. The individual who was doing the imaging was patient with me and she seemed nice. She was not snippy with me at all. The girl at the front desk did a good job at maintaining her cool with me. I know that the insurance verification was not her fault. What really irritated me was the fact that SimonMed depends solely on a chat system and I cannot call my insurance should something go awry. When I came out from my appointment, the lady at the desk told me that my insurance was invalid. Which is not true. I met my out of pocket and I know it is active because I work for the insurance that was provided. So, I tried calling my boss to ask him about what I was being told. I could not call. I had to exit the building and wait for my signal to come back. I couldn't even text to get some help. I told her that I was not going to do a self pay. I also told her that they need to call my insurance, but she told me that this was not her job to call. Why not? I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but there was not one available and she gave me a card with invalid contact information. After another try with her system, my insurance was finally verified and I did not have to do a self pay. Things escalated after my appointment with SimonMed. I tried calling the number for the supervisor to express my concerns, but the number was not valid. When I tried to contact them regarding a follow up request, I was left with talking to people with a thick accent that I could not understand. When they started to get curt with me, I requested a supervisor and they responded that verbatim, "They know more than the supervisor." I really would not recommend SimonMed. It is very difficult to communicate with anyone here. They obviously have their call center overseas, which is ridiculous for a medical facility. I mean, what in the world? They make it hard to even communicate with your own insurance and they refuse to contact your insurance directly. read more

So nice and efficient and without an appointment and only a referral we were out within an hour. Amazing service she was the best and so was the technician that took the X-rays. If I could have given a 0 I would have. I had a DexaScan performed at Summerlin. They only did half of the test! After 4 phone calls I was told my physician needs to contact them. Why? She wrote the order correctly, THEY failed to perform it correctly! I've had this test done over 10 times! So I have results for my left hip. I happen to have a right hip also! They suggested I go to the Summerlin office and speak to the technician. Why? Are they going to repeat the test? NEVER AGAIN FOR THIS COMPANY! read more

Had an appt scheduled for 11:15 but THEY called ME the day before to say I need to come an hour earlier to fit in, so I did. Showed up at their requested time and was ignored by front desk team until they were done with their urgent gossip. Once the girl decided to get back to her job, she had me fill out paperwork (Pro Tip: don't fill out their online paperwork - they make you do it in the office anyway) and paid. Giving the paperwork back to the dismissive front desk girl, she informed me they are running an HOUR behind (at 10am already). I let her know they called me the day before to have me come earlier - she looks at her computer and says "No, I don't think they did"...what!?! Like, why would I be here to sit in your filthy waiting room with cartoons blaring for an extra hour. I asked her if she would like to see my phone log because yes, they did. She ignores my comment and asks if I'm going to wait or not because there's no other openings until October. Like what choice do I have at this point? During my hour+ wait, I witness people being told their appointments are delayed a minimum of an hour, to go outside to use the phone to call their insurance, etc because there's no cell signal in the office, and front desk girl laughed at one lady who gave up and said she was going to another location. A total circus. After checking back with the front desk more than an hour after my scheduled time, she informs me it will likely be another 20'sh minutes but that she "will check" with the back to be sure. They do actually come get me within about 4 minutes of her checking. MRI team gave no indication of how long the procedure would take, just put me on the table, told me to shove some earplugs in and squeeze the ball if I had to come out. Every inch of the place feels dirty, people are curt and clearly unprofessional. Would NOT recommend. read more

I've been here for MRI's a few times under ARI, a research group out of Cali. They take care of billing so all I have to do is show up. Normally there was a guy who use to manage intake but this time there was a female and a nasty attitude, she had. In speaking with other patients who heard her, one was appalled she was broadcasting her uncaring attitude for all to hear, another said, she has seen this lady act up before with others who work there. She needs to hide her raunchy disposition and pretend she loves her job. read more

I went to get a CT scan for calcium scoring. I was told at their price was $99. I paid the $99 and had the xray. A month later I get a bill in the mail for $125. I called their billing department in Arizona and they indicated they raised the price. Basically they lied to me. We filed a claim with the BBB. I am now going to Steinberg Radiology. read more

I have to say this was one of the smoothest medical experiences I've had in awhile. From the first phone call to the end of the appointment, everyone I encountered was kind, patient and accommodating. I called this morning in hopes of being able to make an appointment for an MRI ASAP. I had a referral from my doctor, but it was for another diagnostic center here in town. SimonMed was able to take the referral. Prior to contacting SimonMed, I called the diagnostic center that the referral was for and was told that the earliest available appointment was 12 days from now and had a $432 copay. I've been in excruciating pain for about one month. Having to wait almost two weeks to get an MRI seemed unbearable. Not to mention the extremely expensive copay. I called SimonMed at the referral of a coworker and inquired about self pay. Not only were they able to do the MRI today, the self pay price was just about half of my copay. I arrived at my appointment 15 mins prior to my appointment time as instructed when I made the appointment. I filled out a short two page form and was told that the MRI technician was running about 15-20 mins behind. Not a big deal to me considering most medical providers make you wait much longer. At exactly 20 mins after my scheduled appointment time, Jeff, the MRI technician, called my name in the waiting room. He apologized for running late and escorted me to the changing area. Showed me where to put my belongings (locked lockers). The changing area was clean. Jeff explained to me in detail about the MRI and approximately how long it would take. He also reminded me to ask for a copy of my MRI on my way out. The young woman at the front desk, I unfortunately do not remember her name, was so kind and cheerful. She told me to give her about 5 minutes and she would have it ready for me. 5 minutes later I had the disc in my hands. After this experience, I would definitely use SimonMed in the future. read more

My appointment was at 11:45 and was told to be here at 11:30... it's 1:10 and still waiting with no explaination other than 5 more minutes 5 times so far... I have insurance and was told your insurance probably won't pay so we are charging you for it.. front desk was empty when I got there and after 5 minutes a front faced young guy comes in and with not looking or smile asks what I nnot professional at all...stay away from this hell hole!!! I found out I was charged $100 which my insurance said was unnecessary as I am fully covered even with them so not sure they made me pay and fill their pockets. I'm having a new CT scan this week and I'm not doing it here anymore as this I don't want to be ripped off another time. read more

I had my first MRIs done today at this facility. I usually go to Steinburg but this place was cheaper as a cash pay than it was to pay my insurance co-pay at Steinburg. Amari at the check-in desk was very friendly. The technicians were OK. It was very clean. It's definitely no frills compared to Steinburg. It was a bit uncomfortable. They gave you the little sponge earplugs that never really work so it was still extremely loud. So loud it has you worried that they're causing damage to your eardrums. At Steinburg you got noise canceling headphones and they play your choice of music. The other thing I really didn't like was that my MRI was 25 minutes long and not one time during the entire thing did the technician come over ahe speaker and ask if I was OK, nor did he ever tell me how much time I had left. I always find it very helpful to know how much time you have left. Just having the music (or even no music but at least noise canceling headphones) and having the technician check on you and let you know how much time you have left is comforting and helps you relax when stuck in that MRI tube. I didn't realize how much that stuff mattered until I didn't have it today. In the future I would pay the extra money for the comfort and peace of mind. read more

Day of appointment, receptionist said my health insurance was closed due to Juneteenth holiday and could pay out of pocket and submit claim to insurance for refund. Had 3-MRIs scheduled. The technicians are awesome! Abraham is awesome. I rated this low because scheduling is a nightmare. They rescheduled my appointments 3times without my approval. 2 times they changed it the day before my appointment. Called the office twice to find out what was going on. Got disconnected the first time and then called back only for the guy to tell me he would find someone to help me and then kept me on hold for over 40 min, never came back on the line, the office closed 35 min into my hold time. I hung up at 45 min. I barely made my appointment because they moved it 1 hr earlier without my approval. Those who have to coordinate with work definitely do not appreciate this. I had to have a chest x-ray for an upcoming surgery. Since they do not take appointments for x-rays I figured it would take some time but didn't figure on over 90 minutes! The waiting room is lacking and has a bulky Asian inspired cabinet along the wall where there could have been seating. There is a tv on the same wall and water in the corner ( which is awkward to get to when people are in the chairs) and an Asian piece of art of the wall. The chairs are your basic waiting room seating. Pretty basic really. The employees were very friendly which is why the 3 stars. The one guy noticed I had been there for sometime and made sure I was being helped and checked why it was taking so long. Otherwise based on the wait and comfort of the waiting room it would have been less. The time it took for me to gown up, have x-rays and get redressed was maybe 10 minutes . read more

I was dealing with a lot of pain but the receptionist, Tirza, was so friendly and made the process smooth as possibel for me. This place has no signal FYI but wifi is better than nothing. Jeff the employee who did my Father's MRI scan was nice at first but then he got impatient with my father and he cursed at him. For context, my dad is having difficulties with hearing properly, walking, and other things. He couldn't hear when Jeff asked him to give him his arm for the IV, so Jeff out of desperation said to him "give me your fucking arm!". He said that right in front of me. I was in shock. It made me wonder how the staff treat elderly patients or sick patients that go to their appointments alone without assistance. Also he kept rushing my father, he said to him "the last mri scan images were a waste of your time. Not my time because thankfully I get paid hourly, but it's a waste of your time." Spoke with Darce today regarding my upcoming MRI's and x-ray too - she went above and beyond trying to help me get the correct information with them for my insurance coverage and co-payments. I was very impressed with her kindness, patience, and professionalism. She didn't just refer me to someone else to call me back, or tell me to call my insurance - which has been my experience with another local radiology company Desert Radiology whom has lost my business for sure now! SimonMed called ME to schedule, which is unheard of from DesertRad who claims they got my orders a week ago, but can't get me in until sometime 6wks later. I can't see my doc again until I get the MRI's and yet I never got a call from DesertRad even tho my orders say to call the patient to schedule... SimonMed in Summerlin got me in within a week!! My doc office called DesertRad to help get me in then I guess changed me to SimonMed because I got a call directly from them & will have my results to my doc well in time for my next appointment! Did I mention also that DesertRad wanted to charge me $411 PER procedure for my co-payment, meaning $822? When I asked what my co-pays would be with SimonMed it was $432 TOTAL for BOTH and that's BEFORE my insurance has been contacted!! That's right, the out of pocket charge, without insurance was almost the same for ALL my orders combined - prior to running my insurance! Darce took the time to reach out to Jenn to get prior authorization information & what my co-pays will be. I'm expecting a call from her some time today!! I'm extremely impressed since this rarely happens anymore in Vegas - medical help with a smile and can-do attitude! I'm on hold (once again) with DesertRad for well over 30min's just to notify them to cancel my appointment & I'm going to SimonMed instead!! Good riddance! read more

RUN RUN as fast as you can to another Imaging company. Wish i could give a negtive star. I will never go back to the W. Washington locations (not sure about the other locations) but had a sonogram done in the throat for possable cancer. The tech (wish I had got her name, I tried getting her name by calling over there but as per their customer service they disconnected me 3 times, but she was a young lady) was very cold and unprofessional. She asked me to pinpoint the mass and I told her it was located in the left side of my neck," will you need to pinpoint it". I didn't know what the dr was feeling. She than proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know if she can get it (I would think if I had to pinpoint the spot for the imaging company the dr would have let me know) so after she did both sides I asked her if she was able to get it, I was told by her she could not give that information out, I was NOT asking for results just that she was able to complete what she needed. So now I have to wait not only to see if it cancerous but also if she even did her job. Than the goop they put on she got all over me and my cloths and usually they dry up what they can see and than let you finish but she said the wipes are over there and you can get up and clean it yourself (didn't expect her to clean it all but just get enough of the big goop at least so I could walk over to clean up without it dripping down my shirt and throat more or bring the wipes over). You would think that a place like that that is dealing with people who are going through these ordeals would be a little more compassionate. If you are looking for compassionate people DO NOT go here. And I wish I had read the reviews before I scheduled. I have never in the last 6 years that I have been going through cancer treatments(chemo) and testing every 3 and 6 months (have the kind that can come back anywhere in my body again) have I had cusomter service like that. read more
