Forward to about 20 years later and it's the same price but barely half of what it was but I understand things and times change. Even the interior is nothing like it was but it is upgraded and better but that's all I can say about it. If you were lucky enough to understand Spanish and not look it, you were here these staff talk a lot of noise about new clientele coming in especially if you are certain descriptive than what the staff here desires. A group of African-American clientele walked in and I could hear them in a station tell each other that " Do you see what just walked in?" And they were practically in their language known her eyes saying "yes oh no" that is not the way you treat your guest!. That is not cool to do and you don't do that no matter what language, they are your customers! Along with that if you are two people sitting at a table for they don't bother taking any of the cups or silverware away that is not used but that's okay we could deal with that until 3/4 away at the meal, the busser lady took silverware and cups off of the table in front of us and put it directly on another table. If you don't believe this happening please come here and watch the circus show going on. It's almost like watching a comedy show, are we being punked? Where are the cameras? I added guacamole and requested that the guac be on the side. Instead, all toppings were placed on the side. They did not add any charro beans which -combined with the queso, are what make these nachos my favorite. I am disappointed that the restaurant's solution placed the responsibility on the customer rather than owning the error. They indicated the receipt says all items on the side (see images) and that beans were not selected as a topping to be added. The website (their site not a third party site) does not have an option to add beans as they are a part of the entree in the menu description. Had they apologized and taken responsibility, they may have retained me as a customer.

Ike's specializes in sandwiches with their Dutch Crunch bread and Dirty Sauce, both unique in its own way. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan, or on a gluten-free diet, their menu has it all. I personally am not a super fan of the Dutch Crunch bread since I find it a bit too harsh on the palate and somewhat dry, but love the Dirty Sauce (make it extra or on the side). I enjoy subbing the Dutch Crunch with either French or Sourdough. With over 300 unique sandwiches on the menu, there's a sandwich for everyone.
