Best Italian subs and New York pizza. We just moved to the south manchester litchfield area and this is the best around!!!!!

I ordered through doordash. I ordered ravioli with chicken parmesean. When I recived the order the was no cheese on the chicken parmesean. I called the store and the person on the phone was rude and argumentative and had zero customer service skills. He rudely told me to call doordash dismissively. Plus th here was very little sauce so it was dry and tasted horrible. I will NEVER order from there again. read more

I have to say first that my husband and I go... no, went is the right word, here for 5 years probably 6-10 time a year and for the most part we never had an issue. I thoroughly enjoy their steak and cheese and their pizza is half way decent. Today, I decided I will never return there again. We are regular enough there that the manager knows my face and my husband's. We've never complained, have chit chatted with the manager, and things generally went well. So, today, I brought my two children there for lunch and we ordered pizza. There were about 8-10 people in there, 4 tables being used. At Simon's they keep the parmesan shakers out back and you have to ask for it. Weird, but ok no problem. Not 5 minutes after I sat at my table with it, and employee comes looking to take it back and gives it to another customer sitting near us. You mean to tell me you don't have other shakers? Even the customer they gave it too was surprised. Still not an issue that would have even been thought of once I left. The kicker was when we got to the 3rd slice of pizza and I found several long blonde hairs in the cheese. I brought it up to the lady at the counter who proceeded to stick her fingers in my pizza and then claim it's fine, it's just cheese strings. Uhm no. I brought the pizza back to my table while I waited for the manger who didn't come over, I had to go back up, I went back up with it and pulled the hair out of the cheese, it was tangled in there well and the manager took the hair from me and said this isn't from us and proceeded to hold the hair up to my face and R-E-D hair (not blonde red, like Irish fire engine red hair), and accuse me of it being mine. It was 3 inches longer than mine. I'd like to reiterate, we were regulars there and never made a complaint before, but I was still accused of setting up my pizza! Really? So then after a minute or two, he comes over to my table because I had just said screw this and walked away from this joke of a manager. I figured if business was bad enough that they had to fight that hard to keep my $12 and not spend $3 giving me a new pizza, that fine, they can keep it and lose my regular business. I started to clean up the mess my children had made and he says, alright, I'm sure it's your hair, but it must have been that fan (points to fan) that caused it so what can I do to fix this? I'll just get you a new pizza and then he proceeds to pinch my cheek like a child! Did you SERIOUSLY just touch me? I told him not to bother, I'd not be returning to a restaurant that had the balls to not only accuse me of putting hair in my own food, but would cross the line and pinch my cheek like that. I am flabbergasted by this experience. I'll not be returning there again! read more

One of my family's favorite place's to go for pizza sub's or awesome pita sandwiches. The BLT in a pita pocket is huge. Always fast service food is always perfect. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had to deal with--never had a problem with them until today. Ordered food through BeyondMenu (a 3rd party app for convenience). After about 50 minutes of waiting, I called them to the manager rudely stating: "should be there any minute." Waited another 20 minutes before I decided to peek my face out the front door to see if maybe they were lost. Nope! Definitely not lost; they left our food on the stoop (for how long I don't know) which made the food cold and dry, and my once-cold drink was now warm. My boyfriend called asking for a refund, to which they lied saying that the driver "rang the doorbell and knocked and called" multiple times for 10 minutes before leaving the location. I got sassy and told them that no one did such a thing (we were downstairs waiting for food). Then all of a sudden they said that they didn't knock or ring the doorbell because I called screaming at them the last time for delivering our food: this NEVER happened. I have not ordered from them in over 3 months. First lie - they called. I have no phone record, nor does my boyfriend of them calling. Second lie - they knock/rang! But then they said they didn't knock or ring because I called a month ago upset with them for doing it (again, haven't ordered from them in over 4 months). Third lie - they said they waited around for 10 minutes***. Remember this part. Fourth lie - they said they would give us a refund, and terminated the call. So, we went to the actual building asking for proof of the refund they stated they would administer - all of a sudden the owner got really sassy with me, being literally super rude (I started swearing because "fight fire with fire" amirite?) asking us "where's your food then, huh?" They then refused to release a print out with the card info/contact info on it stating they "needed it for their records". Which is fine now, because we're ordering a new card through TD Bank tomorrow because they're untrustworthy assholes. Finally they lied a fifth time, stating that they could not administer a refund, that I had to go through BeyondMenu. We called them, who stated we had to go through the store. They called the store who BLATANTLY lied saying that they waited at the front door for a HALF AN HOUR THIS TIME (not 10 minutes) for someone to answer. We couldn't get our refund because they refused. They wouldn't give us back personal information, so we're forced to get new card numbers through the bank. They not only lied to us, but reading other people's reviews on FB have lied to other people about much similar experiences. The manager/owner is incredibly rude, and I have absolutely no idea how on earth he manages to stay in business. We will never be ordering from that dump again. We never had a problem with them until today, and we even gave them a decent tip as we usually do on a nearly 50$ order. I was heading to my hotel and passed by this shop on the way to it. So seeing PIZZA written in big old letters got the taste buds firing so the question of dinner was answered. I make it a habit to always try a new pizza places plain cheese pizza before I ever try anything else..why you ask??? Because if they can't make a cheese pizza taste great then everything else is just window dressing garbage..I also ordered a side of chicken wings. Pizza: very well done. The dough had a perfect bite, not to doughy and not to crispy just the perfect balance. The pizza sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of sauce. Now the cheese. Not really sure what kind of mix they use but it was perfect flavorwise. They for sure make a good pizza. The wings are a bit on the small side and the don't come sauced so you have to dip it. But all in all I was not disappointed and will for sure head back there again when I am in town read more

This is one of those places with a old looking sign that you drive by without noticing. We stopped by after being limited on time to get to the airport- from the outside it's just located at a small strip mall with a worn looking sign. Inside, it appears they did their best at upgrading or remodeling with pretty nice seating, floor tiles, and ikea-ish european light fixtures... signs of its old times show at the kitchen and ceiling. The service was VERY fast and friendly at 1pm. The food wasn't outstanding but hey it's a place to stop during lunch for quick sandwiches and there's not much you can do about that. We had a meatball sub and turkey sandwich with "hots"... the "hots" really kicked it in flavor and wasn't too hot just a nice added spice. read more

Traveling extensively throughout the Country I often order delivery and most often pizza. I have to say that the Sicilian pizza from Simon's is the absolute best pizza I have ever had. Ordered a buffalo chicken calzone and a chicken caesar salad... buffalo chicken pizza was fine. The middle pieces were loaded with cheese and the outside pieces were completely dry of cheese. Salad was okay, but the chicken was charred too much. Felt like I was eating chicken skin. Delivery driver dropped the salad which all went into the bag, and didn't offer any resolution. Bill came to $27 plus tip which is higher than it should be for the quality. read more

I worked late tonight and didn't feel like cooking. My company has ordered from them a few times for all employees (20+ pizzas I think, at least) and at one time I had had a slice of their veggie pizza. Very close to where I work so stopped in to get a 12 inch veggie pizza. Asked for it with no onions and was surprised to be asked if I wanted to substitute broccoli or spinach for the onions. I had never been asked about a substitution before, all other places just left off the onions. OMG!! I peeked at the pizza once in the car (had 4 mile ride home). It was so loaded with fresh veggies and I knew I shouldn't have done that. Glanced at every parking lot I passed but finally made it home. The aroma was killing me. This was the most loaded, best tasting veggie pizza I ever had. Cut into 6 slices, I inhaled one smaller slice before I took a picture to send to my daughter. Everything was fresh! Fresh mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, and more. I never have taken a picture of my food, but had to share. Going to have some for lunch at work tomorrow and the rest for dinner tomorrow. This is now my go to place at least for veggie pizza. Definitely will be trying other items on their menu. Many others from work like them too. This was my first visit to the restaurant . Small seating area. Friendly staff. Large Chocolate chip cookie was great also. Would share picture but don't see where to do so. read more

Very good pizza. Up to date with technology, website was very easy to order from. Asked them to draw their favorite Pokemon on the inside of the box, but they were unable to which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5. I work down the road from Simon's and have stopped in a few times, but will not anymore. Having spent time in MA, I miss the roast beef sandwiches that are available all over - mine is a superbeef with cheese and sauce. Being named Simon's ROAST BEEF and Pizza, I figured they would have something pretty good. I was wrong. I watched the cook take a bag of refrigerated, sliced roast beef and put in on the grill to warm up. The sandwich was mediocre at best. Being close by, I decided to give them a second chance today. As I walked in, there was a sign saying "Real Chicken Shawarma" with a picture of a proper spit. That sounded good, so I went for it. Surprise, surprise, pre cooked chicken out of the fridge, onto the grill with an empty spit sitting next to it. It wasn't authentic and barely edible. Had to order here as the other pizza place (Great Food) close to me closed, that should of raised a red flag. It was a sat night and I had heard bad feedback about this place from neighbors and I have ordered dilevery once before in which I was surprised it was not great compared to the other pizza joint but at the least hot and it did not take long for delivery. So this time I gave it another try and order online this time. It was A 12" pizza, grilled chicken salad and Garlic bread. Simple right, coming from a place that lives less than a mile from me and specializes in Pizza and OH Roast Beef . I thought so.!!! It took 45 min and asked the driver not come to door but call from driveway at arrival so not to bother my elderly parents. (Did not do as so) and the food was soggy not crisp as it should be. THEY Are five min away from me. Went to the restaurant the next day to give the owner the benifit of doubt and he turned around saying the driver said I swore and yelled at him for coming to the door and not calling from driveway as requested. I then asked what that had to do with my complaint about his food not as good as usual or expected. I then got upset as I did pay in advance on line with tip for goodness sake, he seemed as he did not care of how his food was being served but more worried how his delivery driver could not read and honey request not to come to the door. Whatever, this join is the only pizza place on brown ave and everyone should stay away. Imagine how his Roast beef will be if he can not get pizza and garlic bread to taste well or good for that matter. read more

So I decided to give Simon's a try because I was really craving a roast beef sandwich. There don't seem to be many roast beef choices in Manchester, so a google search brought me to Simons. It is located in a strip mall near the airport. The atmosphere was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Only issue was the food. I ordered a big beef with cheese and bbq sauce. First off, nowhere in the description does it mention that all sandwiches come with pickles. I don't like pickles on my sandwich so I had to pick them off. The roast beef portion is huge, but it was very, very, dry. There was almost no bbq sauce like I requested so it didn't help the dryness. I couldn't taste the 1 thin slice of american cheese. The bun was lightly toasted and buttery...definitely the highlight of the sandwich. For the sandwich and soda, total cost was about 8 bucks. read more

We were recently introduced to this place when the bridge from Route 3 in Bedford/Merrimack to Manchester Airport opened and this place suddenly became "just down the road." I have to say, I'm glad we did. My wife, originally from Boston, grew up with Kelley's Roast Beef and has been missing good roast beef sandwiches for years, having to settle for Giovanni's. Not anymore. Everything we've tried here so far has been fantastic. If not for the slightly pricey menu, I'd gladly give them 5 stars. Still, it's worth a little extra money for food we can always count on being fresh and delicious. read more

I must admit after reading some of the reviews, I was tempted to keep driving. But, I had heard good things about the pizza and roast beef from some friends so I thought I would give it a shot. I brought my two children in on a busy Friday night and we were greeting by a very nice woman who took our order. Our order was complicated since one child has a gluten allergy and is picky about pizza toppings (they went out of their way to get me the label from their coldcuts so I could make sure there was no gluten! We ordered the gluten free pizza, a small regular pizza and a Super Beef sandwich. It came out pretty fast, considering how busy they were and we got everything exactly as we ordered it. I order salads with my lunch a lot and I don't think I'm going to anymore because a 50/50 shot at getting a wad of wilted lettuce with two pieces of decaying bell pepper on top just isn't worth it. This place is really great sometimes, but then other times they give me food I end up just throwing away because I don't need the stomach ache from eating old salad. Wish they could be more consistent because when they're on a good day, it's really great and I'm a huge fan. But I feel like they need to try to have MORE good days because serving people old food should never be a thing, even on a rough day. read more

If I could rate this restaurant 0 stars I would. I ordered from here a few times and never had an issue. When I called for delivery I specifically asked them not to ring the doorbell (as I had a dog that just had surgery and couldn't have him going nuts.) They couldn't follow that request. Then I found a staple in my food. I called the restaurant to let them know I was unhappy, not looking for a refund or anything. Just wanted to provide feedback. I asked to speak with a manager and the "manager" got on the phone without addressing him self and answered "what?" (real professional) I'm guessing that this wasn't a manager (although he said he was an owner.) He told me that I put the staple in there from the delivery bag. (even though the staple was found in a sealed metal container.) Then he proceeded to tell me that I put it in the food to try to get a free meal. I was disgusted and hung up the phone. 2 minutes later I got a call on my cell phone (I originally called from my house phone). When I answered he said "Furthermore, we deliver to your house as a courtesy, it's way out of our delivery zone." Which I thought was funny, since Google Maps said the drive was 7 minutes. Ordered a cal-zone, onion rings and gyro for pick up. Very disappointed upon returning home and opening the boxes (I live 3 minutes away) to find everything was cold. The $11 cal-zone was 4 tiny pieces, which I could probably deal with if it had tasted at least decent. Unhappy with the portions, taste, and temperature I called and was put on with the owner. His response was "you must have left the food in your cold car and went shopping", it was "not his problem" about the portions, started getting rude and told me I could drive back and they would reheat it for me. He refused to remake any of it. Said he would give me a $5 refund "if we never bothered them again". I remained calm and civil during our conversation and couldn't believe the way I was treated BY THE OWNER.
