The eel is so soft, it just melts in your mouth. And the fire in the foil makes the roll so warm and creamy. Which I know isn't something you really want when you think sushi, but it was so good. The rollercoaster roll - I think the taste of this roll wasn't necessarily anything special. It was good and it had a little spicy kick. But what set it apart was the tempura inside gave it some crunchy bits that were fun to eat. Yellowtail tornado roll - I really liked the yellowtail in this roll! But I'm not the biggest fan of jalapeño, so this one was just okay for me. Lemon salmon roll - this roll was really light and refreshing! Probably my second favorite of the night. The shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura were generously sized, with thick, crispy batter that was still flavorful and delicious. Some of our favorite were the Salmon Skin salad, which stayed perfectly crispy even with the dressing, and the Mushroom Soup, which was light, flavorful, and not thick or creamy like many other versions. The shrimp and chicken shumai, chicken karaage, mango rolls, and all of the sashimi we ordered were fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
