We have used simpl for several years. There was always one odd place where we saw roaches, but they seemed to decrease after the treatment. The folks who came to our house, mainly Henry, were wonderful. We asked last Spring aboubt the little shell-looking insect parts that had been appearing in a closet. When they came, they said they didn't know what it was and sprayed again. For our next two quarterly visits, the same thing happened. They didn't know what they were and sprayed. Finally frustrated, I looked on Google. Turns out they were roach egg casings. Roaches have been multiplying in there, and I don't know how long since they didn't even know what I could find on the internet. We called another company, which came out and told us we have a raoch infestation in the wall between the closet and he drawer in the kitchen, where we had always seen them. My husband called and asked for a refund. They told him that a manager would contact him. That didn't happen. He called again. No return call. We had paid the year in full since we thought they were doing a good job. I feel very strongly that we should be refunded for the months when they came and didn't know what the shells were, and didn't explore what we needed. We still haven't received a return call. We have been using Simpl, previously Aqua-Chlor, for our pool's maintenance for five years and it always looks fantastic (no green water over here). They send a text about half an hour before they arrive and text you a link to your service call once they are done. If our service is going to be interrupted for any reason, they always let us know in advance. We've also used them to fix some of the cracks around our pool (it's old!) and to repair pool equipment. Everyone I've encountered on their team is friendly and pleasant. And their prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend them. (I have not used their pest control service, so I cannot speak for that part of the business.) read more

We called Simpl to inquire about an issue we were having with what we thought were just wasps around our pool. Simpl came for a consultation and quickly realized we had a bad infestation of wasps, hornets, etc. The gentleman immediately assessed the issue and sprayed the area. Within a few hours the wasps were no longer buzzing around the pool as they had been. Within several days the problem was completely resolved. We were very impressed and would highly recommend them! I appreciated that they charged a one time fee and did not require any long term contracts. They also offered to come back if we still felt there was an issue. I found Simpl on yelp when I did some questionnaire thing to find pest control. The owner himself messaged me and answered any and all of my questions in a very timely manner. It was on a Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend and he still took the time to not only answer all of my questions but said if it was needed they could figure out a way to get there before the holiday. I wasn't necessary so I told him I would be in touch after. He wasn't pushy when I told him just said great and to have a good weekend a few of the other companies continued messaging repeatedly trying to convince me to use their service. Fast forward to the Wednesday after the holiday and I was able to book an appointment online and get 20% off with no crazy service contract. The best part is they came out that evening less than 5 hours after I booked the appointment. The technician was very thorough in his work as well as explaining everything he was doing and why. I would recommend them to anyone it's only been a couple of weeks but I have already noticed a significant difference! Prices are amazing too! read more

We have done business with then Acqua-chlor and now Simpl for over 22 years. Never once have we considered anyone else.

After the manager saw my review we were contacted to make things right. They worked really hard with us to get everything operating properly again. It took several months and to be fair not all was their fault. We had some bad maintenance done on our pump and filters which we needed to work through. All in all they made sure that we were back on track to a clear pool.... Which we now have, I have changed my rating of them based on this improved service. ********************* Old review.... DISSATISFIED LONG TERM CLIENT We have been clients of Aqua Chlor for eleven years. Our pool was always clear and usable. We never had a problem with their service up to the point they rebranded as Simpl. Since the rebranding our pool has been GREEN more weeks than it was clear. The "technicians" they send out don't seem to be able to do the minimal maintenance. We have had to call the office many times to report the unsatisfactory service and results only to be "UPSOLD" to hundreds of dollars of additional services with the same end result.... A GREEN POOL! Pero Now they seem to be running out of additional services to sell us SO they now try to sell us the same services AGAIN!! We are getting very tired and disappointed doing their Quality Control job for them. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! read more

We have the pest control service. Here in San Antonio pest control can be quite a challenge. Simpl has been great! They always give us a heads up when they are coming and have no problem working around my schedule. They are quick and we have had no problems in last two and half years since we started using them. Excellent pricing compared to who we used to use ( a big brand you always see) we have saved money and have no issues. read more

So far not really impressed... I booked through yelp for a on going deal and when filling out the info specifically said do not be late for our 8:00 appointment as i work also and on my one day off have things to do as well... When 8:48 am came around on our appointment day and the high school kid finally showed up i was glad. When he left my house at 9:13 am on the same day i was concerned. I've been a customer for over 2 year. The service this company had provided is unacceptable. My pool remains green two days after a technician services. We've made multiple calls and they have made multiple trips all resulting in the same ... a green pool! We've been unable to use the pool at all this summer. Horrible customer service! When I called to address situation with manager Sterling, I called over 5 times in one day and several voice mails no return call. I called the next day and finally was able to talk to him only to listen to him go on about how long they have been in business, not to trust other pool supply companies, and to allow him to fix the pool. Yes he offered to come fix the pool (several times through the conversation) but why, so I can have another green pool just in time for the weekend? No thank you, I'll take my chances and my services to another company. I requested a refund for the current month as I will now have to hire a new pool company and I'm starting with a totally green pool. He wanted to prorate the credit because a technician came out (to do what not sure as my pool was green again after two days)! After 20 mins of back and forth he reluctantly agreed to a full refund. Stay away from simpl pool, not worth the money nor the headache! Give your hard earned money to a company that appreciates it! read more
