I looooove this service. This is a total treat! this used to be a salon in my neighborhood but now…read moreyou can get this service at you place and at your convenience. as a busy professional and a mom, most of my appointments are at 7pm or 8pm. It's perfect. Stephanie is never late and she never cancels. Do yourself a favor but be careful... once you have this service, you will never go back to a salon again. :)

I booked She She Mobile Nail Spa with Stephanie to surprise my aunt and grandma, who have both been…read moresick and fairly immobile. I really appreciated that she was willing to come to the house. The only hiccup was that she would not go upstairs until colors were chosen, so I ended up having to reveal the surprise a little earlier. That part was fine, but the payment situation became a bigger issue than expected. I accidentally sent the payment through Apple Pay even though she prefers Zelle or Venmo. I let her know I could correct it and my cousin could help her move the funds, but she became very frustrated and spent about half an hour on the phone in the hallway with me instead of starting the services. I kept reassuring her that I would Zelle her regardless, but she seemed really upset with me. Once everything got settled, the appointment went more smoothly. My grandma's nails and toes turned out great and she was really happy. My aunt's nails were just okay, but I know the technician might have been short on time. I did not mind the small pricing adjustments since it had been a long time since my grandma had a pedicure and I was unsure what my aunt had on her nails beforehand. Overall, the service itself was helpful for my family and I am grateful they were taken care of. There were a few kinks that made the experience stressful, but the idea of mobile service is wonderful and I still appreciate the convenience it offered.

The Sixth House has been a spot I've been wanting to go to for a while & have followed them on…read moretheir socials for quite some time. I love their values & fair pricing for russian manicures. I made an appointment for the holidays and they did have a deal going on which was fantastic. I was going for a cranberry cat eye look & it was my first time ever doing a cat eye so I do not know how they usually are done. I spoke to the nail tech, she was sweet and helpful but my issue and why I would dock half a star if I could, was I left with a totally different color because she said she had to do a black base for the cat eye look. I wish I had done more individual research because that wasn't the case at all. I still did leave happy with my nails considering we tested a bunch of different glittery shades. But, I am still confused till this day why she said it must be a black base. I would recommend anyone coming here but if you aren't sure like me about a new look, find a video or do thorough research just incase your nail tech isn't either. But, overall, amazing staff and accommodations + $155 for russian manicure is unheard of.

I've written very few reviews in my life, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I added…read moremyself to the waitlist at The Sixth House last week, urgently needing an appointment for what I was certain was my impending proposal weekend. Because my usual salon was booked, I was excited to try this place. It has stellar reviews and I loved the idea of an affordable Russian manicure in an inclusive environment. Unfortunately, my experience was deflating. Upon arrival, I was greeted flatly by Yahoska. Despite my warmth and excitement, her affect remained cold, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and attributed it to me being the last appointment of the day. When she asked me to pick a color, I shared that I was a first-time client and was likely getting engaged in a few days (which I did!). I even apologized for putting the "pressure" of engagement nails on her, but I was met with total indifference. She offered no congratulations or even a smile, which immediately made the environment feel unwelcoming. The technical execution was equally disappointing. I requested a French ombre and provided an inspiration photo. What I received was a thick, unstructured, faint white French tip with a visibly harsh start and stop point. It resembled a nail that was half milky white and half base color pink, no gradient. After several failed attempts with unnoticeable edits, Yahoska seemed unaffected by her inability to deliver what I had requested. I revisited the picture and described what it had that my nails didn't, to which she just agreed and retried using the same technique. She offered no additional remedies, so I eventually had to ask her to just remove the French on my 4 right fingers (she had not done the thumb). I left with a simple base coat, which was almost identical to how I arrived, minus the changed nail shape. I was too upset to remember to take a picture myself, but she actually asked to take a picture of the nails before she removed the white polish without telling me what it would be used for. The most insulting part was the checkout. Despite failing to execute the design and sending me home with plain nails, she attempted to charge me the full price for the French service. I was gobsmacked. I had to bargain to reach a fair price for the work actually performed. She met my request with a cold, two-second glare before finally acquiescing. Not only did I still pay her for the labor of the French that she removed, but I also tipped 15%, which I still think was too much for this experience. Giving 2 stars because my nails looked clean for my photos and the cuticle work/application of the base was great. Unfortunately, the lack of technical honesty, the cold environment, and the attempt to charge for services not rendered were completely unprofessional. I will continue to pay more elsewhere for an experience that doesn't leave me feeling crushed.

From day one, I've had nothing but great experiences, and Vivian is a HUGE reason why. She handles your nails with care and checks in at every step, which I really appreciate. I've loved every single set she's done for me. One time I came in with basically zero inspiration, and Vivian completely took over the decision-making... and WOW. She nailed it ;) I loved what she chose and trusted her instantly after that. I've also come in with specific design inspo, and she happily accepted the challenge like it was nothing. Her work is so detailed, creative, and clean! She's truly an artist. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. On top of her talent, Vivian is just the best. She's kind, friendly, remembers your name, asks about you and your family, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. As a Sunset District native, this salon has that neighborhood feel, like a local spot where they actually know you and care. I'll absolutely be coming back and won't go anywhere else.

My cuticles on the other hand started bleeding because she was ripping them out too fast, but I was honestly fine with that.
