Not so simple to find. They're inside this building/food hall.

Was out in the area for work and looking for a good coffee house and this one appeared. I was driving through the parking lot looking for the storefront and couldn't find it until I realized it's inside the Collective food hall. Ordered a Mexican Mocha to-go and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and I was the only person in line at 8:30 a.m. THe place is still relatively new. I'm definitely coming back to get coffee again here when I'm visiting.

Great coffee, lots of seating, and friendly helpful staff. I love the chia seed puddings options and the vanilla latte.

This coffee spot is off the beaten path but wanted to check out the Mexican Chocolate Mocha. They're located in a co-op building, seating area and bathroom were very clean. The barista was really nice and even brought my coffee over to where I was sitting. The Mexican Chocolate Mocha was delicious! It was worth the drive

What an embarrassment of an establishment. They charge 6.50 for an "breakfast empanada" that tastes like my dogs would not eat it. The reasoning for this is "it's artisanal, and we have to drive to Santa Barbara to go get them." Santa Barbara doesn't make it good guys. This dumpling size disgusting disappointment of food existence should have gone straight in the toilet. Outrageous prices for garbage. Recommending McDonalds, Dennys, or a gas station with the reheated stuff instead.

The simple café it's on the road leading to Santa Maria airport! even though it has a parking lot, it is part of the general area for restaurants! It is the ideal location if you have to wait for our longer appointment such as Dog grooming in the nearby grooming salon. I had a vanilla cappuccino and a Serano empanada stuffed with cheese! I didn't check if they have Wi-Fi, but that is something that I should check next time around. The place felt like a quiet place one where one could focus on work. Since it is limited spacing, but not a small place he is quieter when then Starbucks on the busy day.

Simple is in the title. Bland expresso drinks that leave you asking, why did I come here? Great vibe but wish the drinks stood out more.

Service is great and we love this place. We would be here a lot more as we live less than1m away, if it were not for the god awful 'country music'. Please just shut it off. Your chef clearly has attention to detail and is a prodigy. We loved the tortillas and butter you previously served, but the freshly fried tortilla chips, fresh homemade salsa and sauces were delightful and a much appreciated prelude to our lovely meal. We love the speakeasy. The bartender is absolutely wonderful. Best cocktails I've ever had. I would argue he is the best in the county. Frankly I love to just request 'dealers choice' and he makes the most amazing drinks I've ever had. Fun way to spend a weekend evening. Can I please just say one more time, get rid of this horrific noise. We love the DJ in the speakeasy! So cool, and great music in there. Even if we are not completely vibing with it, it's curated and inoffensive. Can I say, what a joy to have Beso in our neighborhood. We love this place (just NOT this 'music'). We come in for breakfast/brunch or dinner and the music is so annoying/uncomfortable/noxious, that we leave before ordering desert, etc. would hang out longer, would be in more frequently if not for that one big adversity. It takes a month or more to extinct the unpleasantness of the 'music' , we come in and there it is, all over again and we are reminded of why we don't visit more. Please fix this!!

The menu now includes only a few generic Mexican dishes and a single Margarita, apparently to keep folks like us from just turning around and going home (I was very tempted). They don't even have anything like the broad beer selection like that at the Arroyo Grande Blast & Brew, which has many of their own very good brews. We got the Chile Verde nachos, but it was tough to find much Chile Verde. They nicely split the order into two plates without our asking, apparently because we indicated that we would be sharing and charged $5 for that useless "improvement". Adding two tiny containers of dipping sauces for the Truffle Fries added $1.50 each (no one mentioned that they were "extra"). We don't care about the added cost, but this seems like a sleazy attempt to squeeze as much revenue as possible from patrons. We certainly will never go back.

The chile verde with pork or pork ribs is sour and if the guy serving you dont like you, you will get enough meat for one little corn taco and be stuck with beans n rice. The carnitas are nasty. Seriously. Try the carnitas without salsa. Because i did and the meat was rotten. They store the meat from the day before and they dont know which is from which day so you can get carnitas from monday and its sunday. The carne asada is hard rock/pebbles bullshyt. The pupusas are mediocre. But im used to handmade on the spot so im spoiled. The chicken, tortillas and salsa roja is the only thing thats good. The agua frescas are good too the water melon tastes weird sometimes and if u get strawberry they give you pulp and theres only 30% juice bullshyt. But it tastes good. Ask for no pulp. How do you mess up so many things when you have a bakery a carneceria and a grocery store? Edit: forgot to add that i returned caldo de res for raw potatos in soup. The lady didnt believe me until she bit into the potato and looked real dumb and had the manager give me my money back. And i baught sweet bread and it had metal shards on it probably from a machine i guess but i threw that away. The tamales are not good thats why they are fully stocked everytime you go. Nobody buys them after the first try.
