I am not sure why you think you have to step over the gate because they slide open. Everyone just slides it open & walks through. I know that Annie does not step over them because she jokes she is too short to. Seeing that she is your service provider now I am assuming that she is opening it for you as she escorts you back to the treatment room. If this not the case, I will certainly bring it to her attention but I feel confidently that she is opening the gate. We have gates to contain the puppy while she is going through her training to become a service dog. If the dog & the gates are a problem for you, I completely understand if you choose to have your services performed elsewhere. I want everyone that enters the spa to have the most enjoyable experience possible & clearly this is a problem for you. So sorry for the inconvenience & I hope this clears up any confusion concerning the dog gates. Be well. Maybe all of this training goes on in the teepee. She is so sweet, soft spoken, and a phenomenal massage therapist with a great energy. I always leave feeling so much better since she really listens to your needs and what your body is telling her. I've received the following services and all have been great: Fire and Ice Massage; Integrative Massages with an add on of Reiki; and a dry brushing session with Jamie who was also great! The environment does not feel like you're in a building in a plaza at all. The spa itself is decorated very tastefully with all sorts of different services from nails to hair and waxing. Explaining the process and answering any questions and concerns during the washing, solution treatment, cutting, etc. and seeing the results as they were happening was very nice. The atmosphere of her salon is warm welcoming and Emily will be me and my kids permanent hair stylist. God is good, thank you Jesus for linking us up together and you will not be disappointed in her as your hair stylist too! Oh and in case you were wondering what service I received, I was growing my hair out for a few years and I got tired of my hair curling every day after long distance running (been running 11+ years) sweat, so Emily provided permanent hair straightening, a blow out, dead/split end cutting, and layering. The results are amazing, and even the very next day I went for a run, sweated like crazy, but when I went inside, I let my hair naturally dry and it went back to being straight.. No washing, conditioning, blow drying, or flat iron needed. Emily also provided a free after care kit with shampoo, conditioner, and detangler!

My expectations for the color were low so when my finished hair came out black, I wasn't too surprised. That's not necessarily where my issue lies though. Upon the initial consultation over the phone, I made it clear that my hair had a long history when it came to its color, which was why I was requesting a color correction and an all-over dye job. We both agreed to this and discussed the price ($300) which I agreed to. When I arrived, it was clear that Emily was already backed up, to the point that she had me leave and explore the mall for an extra 30 minutes so she could finish up and she STILL wasn't ready. When I finally got in her chair, she began speaking to me as if she had no idea what she was going to do with my hair, as if we hadn't discussed it in detail on the phone. Long story short, she put color remover in my hair and didn't even let it sit for 10 minutes before saying it was "good enough" and rinsing my hair, only for it to look the same as before. Remember, she charged me $300 for this. She also spent the majority of my appointment talking on the phone about her new trashy "TV show" that she's "producing". Then, when she ran an hour over doing my hair into the next girl's appointment, she made it a point to say that it was my fault and that she didn't know she was going to have to correct my color (that is literally the service I booked for). That being said, the color isn't horrible, though it's not what I asked for. Just know that the customer service will be trash and you'll be charged way more than what her work deserves.

Honestly, from beginning to end , I have never felt so pampered! This was the hydra facial and I consider it my favorite so far. I like the rapport with my professional and the fact that she explained each step of the procedure in terms that I understood. I felt very comfortable asking questions along the way as well.
