I sent him pictures of the job and he gave a fair price. We scheduled the trimming for 7:30 am, and they came early. Javier, the master tree trimmer/pruner introduced himself. I asked he if the could trim my front slope as well for an extra charge and he said no problem. They are a great team and Javier crushed it with a professional trim job. They cleaned up nicely too. To be honest, it really restored my faith in landscaping contractors. I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. Invoices are sent every week on a reasonable schedule and I just loved our experience. I'd recommend Seabreeze to anyone wanting to do their hardscape landscaping in a heartbeat!

Steve and his crew are regular people that treat others with kindness and respect not because they have to, but because that's who they are. They fixed a leaky pipe in my backyard without having to pull up my pavers and then they fixed a pipe in my front planter that solved low pressure on my drip lines. No fuss, no extra charges or unnecessary parts and labor. We had to get a permit, and the city took forever because of limited appointments due to COVID. Carlos did his best to keep things moving along. It also took some time to get the materials. I think the price was reasonable for all the work that was done. Carlos checked in regularly, and made sure the job was progressing. Everyone on the crew was very nice when I went out to check on progress. We are very satisfied. I will not hesitate to recommend or use West Hills again in the future.

For the first time, I didn't have to provide any guidance. He and his crew arrived early and just went to work. When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! Needless to say, if you are looking for an expert gardening service for regular maintenance, Angel is your man!

If I could leave 10 stars instead of 5 I would. This was a wonderful company to deal with. I have a small back patio that needed some work. Bryan came out to the house and after input from me and his great suggestions, Allan then drew up plans that could be easily submitted to my HOA for approval. Following that, I worked very closely with Coleman and his team with construction that involved pavers, raised planters with stone veneer, and wall caps (also great for additional seating). At the end of each day the workers would clean up the mess on the patio, as well as the street in front of the house. Always considerate of my neighbors, too. Simple Outdoor Living is great for all your outdoor living needs. It's a one-stop-shop with designers and contractors available for any job you want done. I love that with SOL, there's no guess work. A team comes to your house, takes pics of the property using a drone, and designs a plan based on your input and their expertise. It was awesome to see the plans on a big screen with my actual house from any view, and to have the ability to literally switch things up with the click of a mouse, to see if another paver, or a different fire pit, or a higher wall would look better. Really love the concept of what Simple Outdoor Living has come up with! Their approach is so revolutionary to backyard design and construction projects. The showroom is a really great experience and the staff is friendly. I've seen some of the other designs they have done and was really amazed at how fast they can make adjustments on the fly. I'm a bit of perfectionist when it comes to my property and I love how quickly I can ask for an adjustment to the design and see it happen right in front of me in real-time and in 3D. Ours is one of the oldest houses on the block, my grandfather built it himself in the early seventies so needless to say there is sentimental value here, the years were told loudly in its dated facade ever more blindly as one by one and year by year the houses around us became more modern and desirable and that contrast was ever more noticeable when it became every other house on the block. Before this project, our front yard was little more than a narrow, uninspired strip adjacent to the public sidewalk that functioned more like spillover from the street than usable property. It did nothing to reflect the scale or architectural presence of our three-story, beach-adjacent home. Today, that same footprint operates as a private, structured courtyard -- a defined outdoor living space that feels intentional, modern, and architecturally integrated. The Techo-Bloc paver installation is executed with geometric discipline and clean proportional balance. The contrasting border trim sharpens the layout, and the modular patterning reads refined rather than repetitive. Where water once pooled visibly, the drainage now performs efficiently and invisibly -- The upgraded water line alone was transformative. What used to produce barely a trickle now delivers pressure so strong it rivals commercial output .The underground drip irrigation system is intelligently concealed beneath the hardscape and reemerges precisely within the base of our large entry planters. It is automated, timer-controlled, and calibrated for plant health without visual clutter. For us gardening is a foreign labor, the system removes guesswork and replaces it with precision. We were referred to Hillside Pavers by a close friend who had completed a similar project not long before ours, and that recommendation gave us a lot of confidence going in. After going through the process ourselves, I can absolutely see why they spoke so highly of the company. From the beginning, Byron made the design and estimating process feel very clear and professional. One thing I really appreciated was that he used an iPad on-site to draw out the design, calculate measurements, and price everything very accurately. It was not a vague "ballpark estimate" type of process -- it felt transparent, exact, and easy to visualize, which gave us a lot of confidence moving forward. Byron also helped us finalize the color choices, especially for the walkway, and his suggestions made a big difference in the final look. Roberto, who supervised the on-site construction work, was also excellent. He really listened to my concerns, took the time to discuss details with me, and most importantly followed through in the actual work without any issues. That meant a lot to me because I care about both design and functionality, and he handled both very well. Casandra in the office and Oscar as the business manager were also great throughout the process. They were organized, responsive, and helped keep everything coordinated smoothly, which made the whole experience much less stressful. What stood out most about Hillside Pavers overall was that they listened to our preferences and worked with us instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all solution. The workmanship, communication, and attention to detail were all strong, and the finished project truly transformed the property. During the project and especially after completion, we received numerous compliments from neighbors and friends, which really confirmed for us how well everything came together. I would absolutely recommend Byron, Roberto, Casandra, Oscar, and the entire Hillside Pavers team.

Christian has incredible follow-through and communication. Kristen was great at listening to what I wanted planted and has amazing design skills. The two of them together are an incredible team! They took my pitiful yard (dg, dirt, and horrible succulents) and created a beautiful space that I absolutely love! My trees and succulents have grown in beautifully! I get compliments literally every day on my yard (turf, brand new concrete, and my expanded driveway). One thing I really respected and appreciated was that the Williams give you a price and they stick to it. They don't "surprise" you with any charges and they stay true to their word. Their crew is exceptional. My mom (who's elderly) stopped by my house during construction and one of their guys helped her to the porch and made sure she didn't fall. I would use Williams Landscaping over and over! They do amazing work and they are really good people.

Because I had just finished an interior remodel, my budget was very limited, but the problem needed to be fixed immediately since we were expecting two weeks of nonstop rain. I contacted several companies and received extremely high quotes--until I met Moe (the President) and his son Ashcon. Moe and Ashcon met with me multiple times over two days, came up with a great plan, took careful measurements, and were upfront, honest, and truly worked with my budget. Their crew started the very next day and finished in just two days. What impressed me even more: I had concerns about another area of my backyard that wasn't included in the estimate, and without charging me extra, they sent their crew back for an additional day to make sure everything was addressed properly. That meant a lot to me. The team exceeded my expectations in the quality of their work, speed, fair pricing, and--most importantly--their positive attitude during what were very stressful days for me.
