I've had good experiences with this place. Friendly technicians and after several treatments on my lower legs I have seen a drastic reduction in hair. The technicians are very willing to adjust the level of the laser to your liking. All you have to do is tell them. Sort of odd basement location at Cole and Emerald but convenient enough. They often run promos on specific areas of the body. I haven't experienced laser treatment at other places so it's hard for me to compare results or prices. But I've been pleased so far. read more

Location, location, location! Before Simplicity moved to The Village in Meridian, I probably would have given them 3-4 stars, but the new location is in another city so it added an additional 45-60 minutes to my commute for treatments. No thank you! I prefer to go to a spa in the city I live in and not drive to a large, sprawling mall in another town. Also, the directions to find the new location sent to me by Simplicity were woefully incomplete and on the wrong street, so on my first (and last) visit to the new location, it took me another 15 minutes of wandering around outside in the heat trying to find the right building. Luckily I purchased my treatments through Groupon and I was given a Groupon account credit for half of what I paid since I opted to quit treatments after only 4 visits. Oh I wish I would've read the reviews before getting caught up in this mess. I purchased a groupon for a small facial area. When I went in for my first appointment, I was told the small area only included my chin, not the part underneath, so I was upsold another $25/month. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment due to construction traffic and parking only to be told that they didn't have time to treat me and that I could come back in 45 minutes. I don't have the luxury of waiting around for 45 minutes.... I have a job. Come to find out that the additional $25/mo also put me into a contract that will now cost $199 to cancel. I find it extremely ironic that they expected us to be flexible and keep paying our monthly fees during the COVID shutdown, but they can't be flexible by 10 minutes.... unbelievable. read more

After two years and 18 treatments, I saw very poor results from Simplicity. Half way through treatments when I brought up the poor results, the branch manager told me they guaranteed 90% results of permanent hair loss so I just needed to stick with it. After all treatments were complete and hair grew back, they offered no solutions. An absolute ripoff!! I bought a Groupon for 8 treatments. I finished my treatment schedule about two months ago. Just looked at my treatment area for the first time and barely any hair has been eradicated. I just went in and showed them. They proceeded to tell me that they "tell everyone" that it takes 8 to 12 treatments. I'm calling BS as they didn't tell me. So, now they want me to buy a month to month program. Not going to happen. Rip off city!! In this day and age you shouldn't be required to sign year long contracts for services. That should have been my first warning. Then they burned me in the privates. Maybe not there fault but I decided laser treatment was not for me!! Now they're holding me to the contract even though I won't be going there ever again. AND they turned me over to collections. I have been a client for a year, my daughter wasn't feeling so I took the time to call ans reschedule my appointment, they said I had to pay $20 to keep the treatment appointment. I am usually a very understanding customer because i get that everyone has bad days but man do i regret choosing this place for my second treatment of laser hair removal. I had a wonderful experience at another clinic and i saw this place on groupon so i decided to give it a try... first off i got the old bait and switch.. once i got there ended up having to pay double what i already invested in the groupon. As a former tech at this establishment I would highly recommend seeking out a different place for hair removal. This company barely invests any time in training, and because of this people receive very very poor treatments. The company purposely sets "Parameters" extremely low for the technicians to follow, not for client safety, but so people are forced Into memberships which makes the company more money. The upper management treats the staff horribly, and doesn't allow them to work full time so they don't have to provide benefits. If you want quality, good treatments, and want to invest your money in a company with integrity I would highly recommend not receiving any treatments from simplicity laser. There are many medical spas in the valley that have a company based on integrity and client care/safety, at Simplicity you're just a dollar sign to them. The services are cheap for a reason; And when you're getting a treatment done to your body, making a better investment in a different company is going to be way more beneficial. read more

I tried several laser hair removals before ending up in here. After trying this one, i think i see now that their machine didn't do much for me. I'm light skinned with dark hair and the treatments i did there didn't really get rid of anything. I had better results with other laser hair removal providers. The technicians are wonderful and very knowledgeable. They're always willing to answer any questions you may have. Even the call center is prompt and helpful. The lasers they use aren't very painful at all and the results are fantastic! They have various lasers for different skin tones and hair types and they will find the best match for you! Be advised, they schedule appointments pretty tightly, so if you're late for an appointment, you may have to wait until they're done with someone else's appointment. AVOID --HORRIBLE BUSINESS! Went for 2 years and religiously to appointments and avoided sun, even bought their restorative gel and have gotten ZERO RESULTS! I probably wouldn't have wrote this review if they hadn't changed to a new manager! She is rude and condescending. Example: she refused to do my full leg treatment because of "too much heat in one area" so 3 inches below my ankle was missed and only 6 inches above my knee got treated on my thighs (painfully apparent because she had marked off my legs with white liner). How is that full leg? When I asked her to get the upper thigh a couple days later in my bikini treatment she straight out refused again. Plus her technique was the worst out of anyone's which they are all terrible. I'm sorry but if you treat full legs in under 3 minutes than you're not treating all of the hair follicles properly with the laser. My friend quit Simplicity for the same reason. She went for a consultation at a legitimate spa with laser hair removal and they were mortified with her results! They told her either Simplicity's lasers are poor quality and/or the employees do not properly treat areas with the laser. On top of that they keep charging me for services they refuse to provide due to COVID. The only nice thing about this business is their office space! A rip off! Don't go there! I am on the 5th treatment of 6 with no results. During the 3rd treatment I said I wasn't seeing any results. I was told if I bought their Daily Restorative Gel ($22) and use it daily they could turn up the level of laser with the next treatment. So I bought/used the gel for 3 weeks and had the 4th treatment. No change. They said if I needed a consult regarding the lack of results I would need to make an appointment a week before my next treatment with the manager. Groupon sold a series of 6 laser hair removal treatments for only $99 at Simplicity Laser Hair Removal. I had my bikini area done by Simplicity and even after 8 visits I still have almost the same amount of hair in that area. It's as if I never had a treatment. They offered all kinds of excuses but excuses don't remove hair - good lasers and well-trained technicians do! I am going back to Renu Medi-spa to have my bikini area done by professionals! Update May 2016: I recently purchased the numbing cream but was charged for a different more expensive product so I returned it. If you go here, here is the convo they will have about you. (Picture is attached) I had already called corporate and they said it was no problem and to take it back. I will get my products elsewhere as billing seems to be an issue for them. My hair is growing back in strips (like when you miss a line with your razor) as they run so quickly over my legs to get you in and out. Although the lady who has done my treatments The last few times has been very nice, she Isnt very thorough. Jan 2016: Do not waste your money at this place. If I could I would pay for my one session and get the rest of my money back. Here is what happened. I got a groupon and decided to have more treatments done and signed up for a different package. They didn't tell me about the discount if I paid for it all up front. When I went in to the session I saw a different groupon and asked about it. They said well if you pay up front you get a 20% discount. I said ok perfect and said I'll pay up front. They said the total would be 1901 and since I had already paid 99 they would charge me the difference and call me when they were going to charge my card. When they charged my card they never called me and over charged me $38. They said well we took the 99x24 = 2376 - 99 then took the 20% off and added a member fee. I explained that the member fee was not told to me up front and that they can't charge that. The lady I spoke with said well it just started after the new year so she probably just forgot sorry there is nothing I can do about that. So now I am fighting with them because they are a dishonest company. I wish I would have read more reviews about the company before going to them. Very poor and unprofessional costumer service. Took my sister to sign up with them and they had her for two years plan. Went back in just after couple days to get her plan changed from two to one year, the girl was very unhelpful n confused, stated she will have her manager call us. Did not hear anything so went back again, same girl, she stated that she can not do anything since she was not the one who signed her up with the plan and will have the manager call us. Two days later get a call on my phone instead of my sister's and she stated that my sister did not understand and speak English so she was calling me because she thought my sister was confused. First of all my sister never gave her the permission to call me second of all she is the one who signed herself up and TALKED to her the whole time. The stated that my sister was confused with the Plan she signed up for!!! There was no confusion just a simple request of changing her plan from two years to one year, then stated " oh anyone can do it for her it doesn't have to be me" asked her to have the manager call me which still hasn't happened yet. Very unprofessional and extremely awful costumer service, made us both feel discriminated! Too bad I'm stuck with my plan so regret going back there. Also when my sister went back to get plan updated she told her that she has pay a penalty fee so she ended staking with the same plan. read more

I went there for a facial. The technician said she was going to do a "light chemical peel". I said I didn't want one, but she said it was light and wouldn't hurt. My face burned for 15 minutes while she took it off. When I put my sunglasses on to leave I felt something crusty between my eyebrows. They don't turn up the laser nearly enough to do much good. They said it takes at least 12 visits to get rid of facial hair. (that is one whole year of waiting for it to go away!) BEWARE- do not do business with this company it is a total rip off. I used them for over a year, and has absolutely no results. Also was told when I signed up that I could cancel at any time and after 3 different scheduling errors THEY had made, I showed up 3 different times and they refused to treat me and then charge me a $20 cancellation fee. I finally have had enough and called to cancel my monthly service and was told they would not cancel it and I that I would be forced to pay a $200 policy cancellation fee. In total $900 I have spent for absolutely nothing. I've called other laser places and talked to several other Dr's that treat hair removal and they all said that I should have received good results after only 3-4 treatments and full results in max of 6 treatments and that they've heard of this before with Simplicity. They don't turn their lasers up enough and so you have to go back over and over for 3 times the amount of treatments. It is a total rip off scam. I will never go back to them and advise you all to go to a more reputable company and as you can see from other reviews I am not alone in this experience. Use at your own risk read more

BEFORE YOU DROP 2 GRAND ON A 2 YEAR DEAL LIKE I DID, I WANT YOU TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF INTO. I don't even know where to begin. I did my entire body. Brazilian had the best results although definitely not perfect or even close to what I expected for the insane price! Leg & arm hairs are thinner... but not gone at all. Face is actually WORSE than before I started laser treatments, believe it or not. The girls are friendly & most of them are good at at least acting like they know what they are doing.. but most of the time, my questions remain unanswered. They have a terrible system going... they toss new girls around constantly... ill get a beginner one time & then an expert another & its really frustrating because the second I feel like we are finally making progress, they give me an air head gal who wings it & picks random settings based on her mood. My third time going, a lady zapped the tattoo on my leg. Worst pain I've ever felt. I think its ridiculous that we pay 2k for unlimited 2year package to end up in worse shape than before. You'd think that they'd offer some sort of deal considering the time & money I put in. NOPE. I just don't want anyone to get screwed over the way I did. I enroll with them ( on Thursday )for 2 years for 85$ every month and they told me they will take the money on my first day appointment and a day after i wanted to change my plan to a year which they said it's going to be 999 $ if I pay all in once ( I find out we are moving in 9 month ) and then on Saturday I went there but they've been close so on Monday morning on 6 am they took 108 $ from my account and at 8:30 in a morning I went there to change the plan . The lady who was there told she has to talk to the manager and she will call me back which they didn't do I went there again on Wednesday again and she said she didn't get chance to talk to the manager which was so disrespectful and on Friday morning she finally called but she called my sister instead of me and said I can change my plan and when I got there they charged me 1067 and when I asked why a lady who was there said it's a penalty for changing my plan which I even didn't start with them and if I want to cancel I have to pay 100 something $ so I decide to stay with the 2 years plan.
