I can't speak on the therapy side of things since I receive my therapy elsewhere, but I wanted to share my experience with the medication management at Simplified Peace Behavioral Wellness. I started coming here after my primary care doctor's prescriptions weren't working for my depression and anxiety, and I'm so glad I did! The team here really took the time to listen and figure out the right medication for me. I feel like a completely different person now--I'm finally able to manage my symptoms, which means I can actually attend therapy sessions without being in crisis mode all the time. The nurse practitioner is fantastic--she's knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about finding the best solution for her patients. I'm also really impressed with the office staff--they're always friendly and welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is that the appointments are always quick and efficient. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes past my scheduled time, and even though there's sometimes a bit of time in the waiting room, it's never a huge inconvenience. Come here if you want a biased opinion. When your ready to do what someone else thinks best and ruin your life go here. The super educated nurse practitioner will diagnose you after a very simple list of questions angled to put you on medicine. Think for yourself and do what's best for your life. This lady nor any other medical professional knows your body like you do. Dont allow shallow almost doctors to pretend they know what's going on. These people are a joke a should have legal action taken against them for manipulating people into medicine. Be Very Careful. It's your life and your head. Do what's best for you! read more

I am in complete shock! I had one virtual visit, I wasn't completely comfortable with the provider, but I thought I would give her an honest try before I decided to try another provider, especially with the 1st visit being virtual. My family has never had to pay a co-pay as long as provider is in network and when I called to make appointment I was told yes they were in network, so to my surprise I was shocked that before I got off the virtual visit I was told my fee was over $100 and wanted to know if was paying by credit or debit card. I paid my balance no questions, because I was still in shock and grieving because my husband had just suddenly passed away...the reason for therapy. So I was given a follow up appointment date, I showed up for my appointment, walked into office, to a sign stating in therapy have a seat someone will be with you shortly...so I sat there for a total of 55 minutes...did not see one person, so my appointment time had come and gone, so I just walked out and left. I decided then to get a knew provider which I did...A GREAT ONE!!! I called Simplified Peace and left a message because you can never get a human to answer the phone, to inform them I would be canceling all future appointments because I had found another provider. But here is the kicker....a month later I received a bill from them for $130 for 2 missed appointments...the one I walked out of after I waited a total of 55 minutes and the other appointment I left a message on their machine and cancelled. I called them and informed them I would not be paying and if course had to leave a message, I received a call back from the so called provider....boy, was she unprofessional!!!!! She told me I owed the money because I walked out, she was in therapy with patient in crisis and she wasn't leaving them to come and tell me what was going on and I left AMA. What?????? Then why don't you have someone in the office like a receptionist to let people know what is going on.. her response it is a small office....also she has no record of me cancelling my other appointment, so I still owe. She would not even let me talk, she was very confrontational and argumentative....this is not what a therapist should be...sorry!!!! I finally had to tell her to do what she needed I would fight it with an attorney if necessary, we will agree to disagree, have a great day and hung up.
