I booked a massage with a back scrub, hot stones, and the CBD add-on, and the whole experience felt thoughtful, professional, and genuinely relaxing from start to finish. Aries made sure I was comfortable, checked in on pressure and preferences, and made everything feel easy. The back scrub was such a nice touch and left my skin feeling refreshed. The hot stones were unbelievably soothing and helped release a lot of tightness in my back. The CBD add-on was the perfect finishing touch--I left feeling calm, loose, and recharged. Highly recommend booking with Aries if you want someone who's truly skilled and attentive.

This is the Fredericksburg location. No idea about the Culpepper location…read more The only reason it isn't five stars is the physical structure. It is in an absolutely gorgeous old home converted to a business. Hardwood floors, beautiful details....and A LOT of stairs! There is no way to get in without stairs :( they do have back stairs, which are easier-ish to navigate, but still not amazing. The massage rooms are in the basement. at least UP the stairs is after they've worked out the kinks. lol I have had a lot of injuries and often use a cane, so i always have to weigh how much help i need versus how many stairs i can manage. But once i'm there, i am NEVER disappointed! Been going there off and on for many years. Beth, Dan, Kevin...i've lost track! All of them phenomenal. I always feel better after seeing them. I usually get medical massage due to my injuries and they don't disappoint. The only thing i don't like is something they can't change - the building. And I really do love the building. Just wish i were less broken :( i think the culpepper location is a storefront? not sure. maybe try there if you're not able to do stairs. it's too far for me and i love my peeps in Fxbg.

What began as a nice mother daughter mani pedi turned into a disappointing experience for us both…read more We had different nail techs. Nail chipping began the same evening on my daughter's nails and a few days after on my nails. I contacted the salon and spoke with Ann. She said she was the owner, to return and they would redo our nails. My daughter had a flight the next morning. No refund was offered. Unfortunately, I decided to go back because I knew gel nails had to be fixed / removed by the salon.. The owner, Ann, said that only she would take care of me. Upon my return, she did nothing to prep my nails. No soak or care taken. She ripped the gel off with a metal instrument. taking the top of my nails with it. I told her this was painful, but she ignored me. She used a drill on top of my nails after she'd ripping them off. At this point I felt I no choice but to have her reapply the polish. It was done sloppily after I refused her recommendation of an up-sale to Acrylic nails. She also said the color I'd chosen was one that chipped easily. I selected it from a book handed to me by my original nail tech. I felt quite bullied. She was aware I'd only had my nails done a couple of times in a salon. Once again, just two days later my nails began chipping. Now, I must find a reputable nail tech to remove the polish and hopefully my nail beds aren't too damaged by her rough careless treatment. The day my daughter and I had our nails done I was unable to pay because they don't accept American Express. My daughter paid with Venmo and I reimbursed her later. Ann, tip shamed my daughter because she didn't approve of the tip. I handed her an additional $20.00 in cash. I wonder now if our nail techs ever received our tip. I don't recommend this nail salon to anyone. Maybe it's worth also mentioning that day I noticed someone with an open leg wound receiving a pedicure prompting me to inquire if they had an autoclave for instruments. They had no idea what I meant. After explaining; I was told they had one. I looked around since we were seated at the far end of the salon. I saw no evidence of one. I did see dirty instruments tossed in a pile. It was over $200.00 for both of us not including the $35.00 tip. I believe this to be about average. So, not a cheap salon; Just cheap in quality. Ann was very rude to both of us. Based upon her attitude and actions towards me the day I returned to have my nails redone; it's my feeling she deliberately damaged my nails because she resented redoing them even though she offered to do so. In hindsight I wish I'd said nothing and just found another salon. I'm writing this review to warn others. There seem to be a lot of options in this area for nail salons. I hope my experience will help anyone reading this to make a better choice. I hope Ann reads this review and her customer service improves. This is shameful behavior particularly for the owner.

I've never had anything over and beyond and every time it's been over $70 even when I was just getting a fill with French tip. Both times I scheduled appointments, Pauline was over fifteen minutes late and I had to wait for her to get to the salon. (This time I was a walk in and had a different nail tech) When they had to remove the previous nails to do acrylic dip powder, she had no care whatsoever for my natural nails (that I have been growing out for 4 months now)- she just started aggressively cutting them off which literally left me in tears. To make things worse, she filed the heck out of the skin surrounding my nail bed, didn't use enough powder (so the edges are already showing the white tips she used), and ended my service by squirting lotion into one of my hands and telling me "done" (didn't even bother to rub the lotion onto my hands.. i guess other salons spoiled me with their short hand massages but this was still surprising to me). ONE basic dip color and literally nothing else cost me $75. I will never be back again.

I had the worst experience with Pauline (first chair to the left). She made me feel unwelcome and…read moreuncomfortable at the end of my service (11/16/25). Pauline had boldly told me that I was an inconvenience to her and that my design choice was a hold up to her and that she had a client waiting after me, that I was cutting into that time. However, I had scheduled an appointment with Pauline at 11am. I received a text a 10am advising that Pauline would not be in and I was to call at noon to reschedule. I called as asked and was told Pauline was still not in. Pauline called me at 1:40pm to tell me she could take me at 2:30pm. When I arrived she still had someone in her chair. I was patient and sat in her chair at closer to 3pm. The service went fine until the end. I had sent reference photos to Pauline days earlier via IG, so she was well prepared and knowledgeable about what I was asking for. I have always provided reference photos for Pauline as I like for my nail designs to be unique. I've always collaborated with Pauline to customize my nails/art and she's never brought to attention before that this was a problem. I am paying for a service and I'd prefer to pay for what I want. We were literally on the last nail design and I asked Pauline to pause as I wanted to review the reference - Pauline responded to me with impatience and unkindness. Pauline said to me "your hesitation is frustrating, you always do this. I have a client who's waiting on me". Her comments continued for about 2 minutes. I felt disrespected and disregarded - again I was also a client this day and had an appointment with Pauline at 11am and she inconvenienced me and my day plans, however she was only concerned about the customer after me. My response was that I'm sorry that she felt that way and that if my design requests were too elaborate for her, she could have rejected my appointment requests or tell me that she could not meet my requests. Pauline has always executed my requests, so I wasn't aware her bandwidth or capacity was low to do such work. I felt personally attacked because if you've seen Pauline's work, she's very good with designs so her comments felt like it was me who she had a problem with. I've been a loyal customer to Pauline and Top Ten Nails for a year and her comment made me feel as if she's always felt a distain for my business. I had a respect for Pauline until her comments. I will not be back.

I didn't mind at all, he was very polite and apologetic. A group of three people had finished a pedicure and checked out. There is a sign when you walk in saying they don't take card tips, and the lady asked him to tip on card. He apologized and offered her other options for the tip, and she told him she would walk to the ATM (it is about 10 steps away from the building) and come back. Within my visit, she never came back. Ironically I saw the group shopping at the mall about 30 minutes after I left, but that isn't the point of my review. It was just very frustrating to see - please don't be that person. The staff here are super polite and always give their best. Anthony was super good at making sure I was happy with my experience and was able to do the design on my nails that I had provided a photo of. My friend's nails also came out perfect as well. I definitely plan on coming back!

While the cleanup was good, the paint job was awful. He walked away several times while looking confused as to what products he was holding. There is polish all over my cuticles, and there is even a bunch of dust under the pain of the big toe nail! I'm sure this is due to his multiple cell phone breaks while doing my nails. I know my pink nail is small but he literally just painted all over my toe. Next I got the builder gel manicure. There was little to no prep on my nails. She didn't even bother to wipe off the dust from her filing before applying a base coat. She also painted all over my cuticles, yet missing edges of other nails. She also left product on my fingers, and the paint is streaky. Not to mention the dust, bubbles, and unknown particles on my nails as well. I'm sure not all of the nail techs operate like this, but the two people who did my nails did a terrible job. Over $120 WASTED
