I came here looking to remove my gel polish and get a regular manicure. Angel has a good selection of color for regular manicures. With a nail salon in every corner of that parkway, since they had the better reviews I decided to give this place a try. Upon entry the place is spacious and clean. The three staff were all sitting with clients. But one quickly greeted me, asked what services I needed and let me know that a staff will serve me shortly. This would be my only complaint that it wasn't a few minutes. But as soon as the owner arrived he started the nail removal process until the staff can finish the work. In summary the staff that did my nails and I highly recommend her, Cassie, is efficient, clean and did an excellent job on removal and manicure. I definitely will come back to this place as the price is reasonable and the staff is professional. Cash is ordered so I happened to have cash and paid booth service and to in cash. All in all it was a fair turnaround time from start to finish. I recommend this place! read more

Excellent pedicure! I highly recommend this salon. It seemed a little pricey ($38) for a basic pedicure, but the prices are going up for everything, so I get it. Will never go back. $63 pedi turned into $93 with zero warning and no clear pricing displayed. Scamming ass business with sub par results. I don't understand how they have good reviews but I'm sure they delete a lot of the honest ones. This place is TRASH. I asked for a full set and pedi, they were just staring and said "ok, go ahead." I continuously asked where and he finally said "anywhere," disorganized. They hand file your toenails without soaking first so tore the skin up. Between that and the nippers, they cut me so many times. They only file a little then apply something that I guess is SUPPOSED to soften the gel? Then scrape hard as can be to get the polish off instead of filing down like a normal person. I asked for acrylic on my big toes only ($10 total). He applied builder gel instead, did not ask. That burned like hell. They do not do cuticle care first so since the builder gel was thick, no cuticle care or clipping of the sides of my big toe. They are EXTREMELY ROUGH. There's barely any water in the pedi tub, just full of beads like you're stepping into thick mud. They asked about my nails halfway through then said no they can't ombre which is a basic style so they should have said no when I came in (my nails have designs so they knew full well they could not do it). I then just refused to allow them to even start my nails. I picked a $63 pedicure, when I rang up they charged me $93 "bc I got gel." Which is typically a $5-10 up-charge, it's $20 here. This is no where to be found on the price list they shove in your face. You can very clearly see where the gel ends vs my toenail, it looks like my nail grew out and I painted over the new growth. I highly, highly suggest you do not come here to be scammed. Shitty dang place. read more

Ellen just so happens to do my nails and she charges me 45.00 and said it was always that. It was never so much about the price but get it right. I still came back but the service and attitude toward me was different . It was not the first time from Ellen , don't bump or move and mess up a little from how you maybe sitting. She says smart things in her language as if she don't think you understand. It's only a thousand and one nail bars in this area I will move on, keep the points I earn it's not worth it. Great service! Danny did a great job with pedicure and the older lady did great with my eyebrows. However, the price paid here is a bit cheaper in southern Virginia for the same services. I found it rather unprofessional that I was basically told that I HAD to tip when paying although me and my significant other had already added tips to the tip jar. My frustrating search for a great nail salon is finally over! I have been to angel nails a few times now for a pedicure and SNS manicure and I was BLOWN AWAY. 1st (and to be most important) they are CLEAN! I WILL NOT go to a nail salon that does not follow proper sanitary procedures and neither should anyone else. Tools come out of sterile packaging, files are new for each individual, THE FOOT TUBES ARE LINED (huge bonus). 2nd The staff has such an amazing attention to detail. My feet and nails look absolutely fantastic. I had some not great experiences previously with SNS at another salon. I am so happy I tried again here because my nails lasted and they looked great. I also can not rave enough about the "spa pedicure" it was THE BEST HANDS DOWN pedicure I have ever had! Holy cow. I was took back when he said no acrylic. But they basically do acrylic, just a safer and healthier way. I wanted an ombré, but he couldn't do that. So I just got plain color & sparkle. He made my nails a lot wider than I like. They're more rounded when he saw mine were square before. He also cut my pinky multiple times. Some nails are lumpy. The color could've used another coat. I scheduled an appointment for a mani/pedi and they were able to seat me right away. Lee helped me but all the girls were nice. They have hand washing stations when you get inside. Lee was great with the care and polishing of my nails. I don't know if it was an anomaly but she even walked me to my car so I didn't have to touch anything while my nails dried. The staff are so professional and friendly! Not only is the atmosphere welcoming, the quality of work is amazing! I had liquid gel nails put on since my nails were broken and brittle. The set that they put on lasted three weeks and didn't break or lose color at all! My 2 month baby was not having it the last 15 min and they graciously helped out and even put her to sleep!!! my nails were done okay, they could've been better. just little details like some nails shape being off, some edges not fully being covered; things i notice but no one else will. however, this salon is $10 cheaper for what i get than my usual salon so i'm not too mad about it! i got dip powder ombré. it took a long time. the guy who did my nails was nice but kept stopping to answer his phone and the store phone even though there was a guy doing nothing who could've answered the store phone, so i just thought it was odd and added to the long amount of time it was already taking. the store is not nice at all, like NONE of it. not nice chairs, tables, dryers or tools.... i was shocked. they do not invest their money into anything inside of that salon! it didn't feel like being pampered at all. they even had their door open the whole time, idk if something was wrong w their AC or they just didn't wanna run it to save money. luckily the day i went wasn't too hot and it was early morning so i just stayed. ‍ i would go here again if i was extremely desperate but i would never choose to go here again. there's too many other better salons. read more
