We hired them to do a deep cleaning in our new house before we moved in. They charged me $495 and they did NOT Clean the following: 1. Tile floor 2. Kitchen drawers and cabinets 3. Stove 4. Closet shelves 5. Oven 6. Master Bathroom floor 7. Master bathroom counter 8. Master bathroom sinks 10. Master bathroom shower. 11. Master bathroom toilet 12. The first appointment I had, I was quoted one price on yelp and charged another the day of service. That already gave us a bad impression. I received an "oops our bad" response from that. We decided to give them another try and had the crew come out again. My appointment today was for 2:15. I waited at home for the cleaning crew to arrive so that I could let them in. They didn't show up until a little after 3:00pm. My daughter had a 3:00pm appointment that she missed and I specifically took the day off of work so that I could take her to this this appointment. This is extremely unprofessional. We left when the cleaners arrived and When we came home, my sons Legos were completely smashed to bits and put away in his bin under his bed. He spent HOURS building his Harry Potter World that was on his dresser. I've had cleaners in the past just clean around it. When my 6 year old child saw this he had an asthma attack and would not stop crying. I'm honestly very upset about this and I've never experienced anything like it. I am not happy about this one bit. If I could give no stars I would. This company is such a scam, the cleaners are all inexperienced and can't do their job. I had two cleaners come in from this company THREE times (correction). The second time was wonderful, but the first time and the third (last) time was no good. For the first and last time, I had to have someone else from their company come in the day after to redo the places that hasn't been cleaned. They didn't even have some of the materials to clean with so they used what we had (I.e. Bona sprays for hardwood floors). The first time one of the cleaners left early, I thought some kind of drama happened between the two cleaners but apparently there was an emergency with her child, that's fine. But then I'd still expect the house to be cleaned, since I am paying the full price and my dog is inside her cage the entire time while the cleaners are cleaning our house so there should not be any dog food on the carpet, nor should I see a bunch of hair on the stair way, or the rooms, or red stains in numerous bathrooms (toilet, sink areas), this is not just one bathroom we are talking, I live in a 4 bedroom 4.5 bath complex, 3,260sqft house. I had no attitude towards the cleaners except they may have perceived it that way for the very last time when the two cleaners came in to redo a couple places because I was upset by the fact that I had to have people come in to clean again. When the first cleaners came in for the third time, I never had an attitude, I actually have a video of them playing with my child and everyone was having fun. I had complained and texted one of the staffs right afterwards for the very first cleaning appointment, and there is no way that I had time to implant the hairs and what not within a matter of first 5 mins after the cleaners had left. I have everything on recording, the time stamps on my phone. Long story short, BOTTOM LINE, the company's responsibility and the business is about cleaning people's house. Perhaps certain people are okay with paying the full price and not having some of the main areas cleaned, like the bath tub, sink, toilets, but I am the type of person, where if I am paying people to have my house cleaned, i expect those areas (which I consider the "MAIN AREAS") to be cleaned. And I didn't even ask for a deep clean, just a standard cleaning service. I didn't know standard meant not having bathrooms cleaned. No one should ever have to check every corner to make sure everything got cleaned. I was also threatened if I do not take down this honest review, and my own personal opinion, which I am allowed to post on Yelp. That was the scariest experience ever. Purchased from a Groupon for my grandma, they no showed and then charged my credit card for 10 hours of cleaning ! they force you to add it in case you want extra cleaning ) they used my Groupon voucher then went ahead to charge 350 dollars to my account, they were unresponsive. After having a house full of company for Christmas and hosting some holiday dinners, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a cleaning service so that we could enjoy the rest of the holiday season and our time off from work (plus I'm 7 months pregnant with a toddler). Simply Crystal Clean was quick to respond to my request and had availability to clean our home right a away. They charged $285 to clean my 1700 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. This company was very professional and arrived right on time. 3 people came to clean and they started around 11:45 and were finished by 1:00. My only reason for not giving them more stars is that I thought I paid for a deep clean- and for the price, it seems like that's what I should have received. Although their cleaning would have been excellent for a standard clean, I was I was under the impression that for a deep cleaning they were going to do a little more, like clean the oven and refrigerator. I've had standard cleaning done in the past by other companies and paid at least $100 less for basically the same thing. When they left, I still had to clean my stove top and burners, which seems like something that should have been done for a deep clean. Overall I was satisfied with my clean home, but just feel that more cleaning services should have been included in a deep cleaning. read more

I have a small condo 1200sq, but I am a full-time working mother with two small children who can make a mess within 1 hour, that we clean together with my husband for 3 hours. Gross lack of consistency in cleanings. The first one deserved a 5 star review, the person showed up, busted her rear cleaning for 5 hours straight and threw in bonuses: cleaning the oven, etc. The second cleaning was a disaster: the floors hadn't even been attempted to be cleaned, with hairballs in every corner and along the baseboards, the shower hadn't been cleaned at all with black mildew starting in the corners (thank you summer humidity), and the countertops left your hands dusty because they hadn't even been wiped. We can monitor when people enter our house with our security system, and could see they were there barely an hour. Asked what happened and was told it was a team of 3....that apparently didn't clean. They sent out a team to clean for free to make up for it and it was much better. Cleaning #4: team of two shows up at 10:45 and leaves before noon. The invoice says team of two from 9:30-noon. This simply isn't true, as we were home while they were there. Same price of $165, but instead of 5 hours of work, we got two hours (1 hour x 2 people). Countertops were so-so, strong chemical smell throughout the house, soap scum still where the soap dish is in the shower, so that wasn't scrubbed. I can't justify the price when they claim they work more than they do and the price is the same no matter the results. Edit: the floor base photos are from the bedroom where the bed is in the middle of the room Michael. No, I don't expect two women to move a bed. I do expect them to clean the floor on the far side of the room, which view is hidden by the bed, but has 3'+ between the bed and the wall but would be easy to think we don't check. We checked. They didn't clean it and we noticed it. Filling out your invoices that say the cleaners were there for 2.5 hours instead of the 1 hour they were there is dishonest. read more

I have to say that Bita was responsive and flexible for last minute changes. She was also very apt to fix what we saw wrong. But i would have to say that i would not uae Simply Crystal Clean again. I asked for a deep clean and also stated that we were going to have a photoshoot to list my house and they did not do what i expected. My definition of Deep Clean and theirs are different. This is a horrible company! Do not use them. They will sue you and they do not represent there company accurately at all. This is no reflection on the crew at all. I actually feel sorry for them. Bita made statements and promises that the crew did not adhere too. Only because she misrepresented what our experience would be. Also tried to charge us for COVID optional sanitization. Oh and when I mentioned insurance company my verbal quote was different then my written quote. I asked for just cleaning in the end . I told her the dust was my main point of contention. Well to say the least we were left with work to do after the cleaning. She also told me everyone will be wearing booties ! Uniforms nope! When I reviewed my invoice it was over 900.00 . I reached out to them we could not come to an agreement! I'm now being told we will be sued in small claims! I tried to come up with compensation that was fair. We could not agree. OK, I have used Simply Crystal Clean once or twice a month for the past six months. Their quality of service has not diminished. My wife and I are difficult customers and had many last-minute schedule changes, but the owner was very accommodating to work with our schedule. Bottom line, what separates this company from many others is their superb cleaning services and fantastic customer service. We love the non-toxic cleaning materials that they use. Obviously all the cleaning ladies who took care of our house were extremely professional, polite and prompt. I would NOT recommend using this company for your cleaning needs. Yes there was an issue with the water being turned off already at the townhouse (which it took them over an hour to notify me after being on site). Regardless they didn't clean the mirrors in the bathrooms, they barely vacuumed, they didn't clean or vacuum around the toilets, there was still dirt left on the counter tops, etc. They said they would make it right and send back a cleaning crew to clean what was missed (basically everything). I was no longer living there at this point, so they were coordinating with the property management, and I guess he had difficulty scheduling with them. Regardless they returned to make it right by redoing the job. The property manager informed me there was not much improvement after they returned. I texted my contact to let them know what the property manager found and they are blaming the fact that he rescheduled the time with them several times, not the actual issue which is they sent back the same crew of two people who did such a poor job the first and now second time. Bottom line is I paid $295 for a poor cleaning job, which was supposed to be a " move out/deep cleaning". Now property management will have to have another cleaning company return to do it right! read more

I wish I could give negative stars! What a ripoff this company is! To begin with, we have a VERY TINY, 1 bed, 1 bath, 250 sq ft home so it's super easy to clean. My husband & I are disabled and that's the only reason we need someone to come out and clean for us. The first time this company came out to clean, they cleaned our home better than anyone oever had, so obviously they're aware what's required for a good cleaning job. The 2nd time they cleaned, IT WAS THE WORST CLEANING WE'D EVER HAD! Lamps weren't dusted, none of the tops of our pictures were dusted, only the bottom part of the frame. And some pictures weren't even dusted at all. In the kitchen, the ledge on the backsplash of the entire kitchen wasn't dusted, they didn't clean behind or under anything in the kitchen, they only cleaned around everything. And we pick up a lot before they come out so there's hardly anything left out on the counters. The fronts on the appliances weren't cleaned at all so the dishwasher, stove, etc, still had water & food drips down the front. In the living room, we have shelves attached to the wall that've been there for 12 years & no cleaning person has ever had a problem with them. But they knocked one of the shelves completly off the wall! And these shelves are attached with drywall screws! So my husband had to get out his drill & spend more than an hour reattaching the shelf. And nobody even bothered to apologize or offer to pay for repair! As for cleaning those same shelves, nothing was lifted up to dust under it. They took a rag & actually dusted a square around the pictures! And didn't even bother to dust in between the pictures. Just a huge square around the outside of the entire shelf, around all the pictures. WHAT??!! Who does that?? No window sills were dusted, nothing was moved on the bathroom counters & cleaned underneath. Twice they "forgot" the vacuum & had to go back to get it. When I emailed the company & sd we weren't happy, I was asked if I could list what wasn't done. Again, no apology for breaking our shelf, no offer to pay for repair & no apology for the lousy cleaning. Just a refund on our tip that I'd given prior to inspecting their horrible cleaning job & "I'm sorry you weren't happy". I could go on & on cause there's a whole lot more but you get the idea. We gave them a try a couple more times after the bad cleaning cause everyone can have a bad day but since our 1st cleaning, it's always been very mediocre to say the least. Every time they clean, I end up spending a good hour finishing up what they didn't do. So I'm paying them for cleaning & also having to finish cleaning it myself. They're always very rude in their emails, too. The first time they emailed me, they'd somehow forwarded personal info from another customer to me. Thankfully, I'm an honest person & didn't keep any of this other customer's personal info. I have no idea how that could even be done but it was. I brought it to their attn & they were very rude. I almost didn't give them a try cause I thought, wow, if they're THAT careless with personal info, maybe they're not trustworthy. Wish I would've just gone with my gut & never gone thru the hassle of using them. They also acted like I requested multiple cleaning people to come clean our little 1 bed, 1 bath home but they've always CHOSEN to send out more than 1 cleaning person at a time! Seriously, I don't care if you send out 1 cleaning person or 5, JUST GET THE JOB DONE! IT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU SEND OUT! You DON'T HAVE TO BE RUDE about it in an email! The first time they cleaned, I tried to pay the house cleaners before they left & was told they'd email me a bill. Ok, no problem. So our most recent cleaning was done on March 20th. We received a bill on March 23rd. The following day, March 24th, a $25 late fee was assessed! REALLY??!! A late fee is ASSESSED AFTER ONE DAY??!! And I didn't even receive a call or email saying they'd add this late fee if not paid immediately. I could see assessing a late fee after a week or 2, but in only 4 days??!! I said I never agreed to any late fee & wouldn't pay it & received a snoty email indicating that after 24 hrs of not paying your bill a $25 A DAY LATE FEE IS ASSESSED & that going forward, I needed to pay by cash or check, OR THEY'D ADD A 3.5% FEE FOR DEBIT CARD PYMT. Huh? I tried to pay with cash/check the first time they came out & was told, no, I couldn't!! So just more rudeness from this company. Yelp needs an option for -1. Simply Crystal Clean is anything but clean. They don't know how to make a bed with new sheets and they certainly don't know how to clean. For $150 I did not even get my floors cleaned. They lightly wiped down counter services then used the same cloth to wipe down our custom made window seat and kitchen nook cushions. They banged into furniture and made chips in our floorboards and cupboards that we had just repainted. My elderly cat sleeps on a bed in guest room. I didn't ask them to make the bed as I had made but I did ask them to get the cat fur up. Black fur all over a white duvet doesn't look clean but that is how they left it. In other words they did not clean the top of the duvet or a anything else in our house. Our house was truly more dirty after they finished whatever they did. My husband and I cleaned the house ourselves immediately after they left but not before contacting them for refund. Nadia told me if I sent photos she would refund. I sent the photos, lots and lots of photos of the dirt they left behind. I never got my refund. read more

Where to begin?? I get a call to move up my time by 2 hours...sure no problem. The crew arrived and from the very beginning seemed bothered to be there and somewhat annoyed that they had to work. I had some sanding I was doing downstairs so the "crew" started upstairs. 20 minutes later they are "done." Mind you the house is completely empty...I didn't see a vacuum or hear one and whatever mopping happened was basically water touching floor. I had no idea what exactly they even cleaned. Anyways, I leave to get out of their way thinking maybe I was making them uncomfortable. When I return the crew is done and sitting in their car. Countertops not wiped, shelves not wiped, window sills not wiped. Visible dust everywhere. To make matters worse when I point things out I get an explanation and some attitude. I understand missing some things but the main countertop in the hall is not one of them. Especially when its covered in dust. The whole experience was a no good and the response I got from the front office was off putting too.."On a positive note, at least they finished". I can not recommend them. read more
