Nancy, who I assume was the owner, was very nice and when we asked for things to do around the area, she brought out a map to show us some great sightseeing options. Nancy McCulla and the team at Simply Delicious are really wonderful. I recently worked with Chef Nancy on three meals for a weekend-long program. Each meal was held at a different venue, one of which was particularly challenging for its non-traditional setting. Nancy was up to the challenge. She and her staff provided wonderful service to our guests, including those with dietary restrictions, and every single thing she served was absolutely delicious. Truly, the food was amazing. Three of us went to the Simply Delicious today. The place sets back from Rt. 66 a bit and it's exterior made me wonder about what I'd gotten myself into. Once inside, we had to go to the counter and order our meals which were then served to the table when they were ready. Two of us had crab cakes on croissant rolls and the third had a chicken salad on a croissant. All three came and were delicious. I really don't care that much for healthy salads, caring more for the calorie laden good stuff but the salad was so good that I could eat a whole meal of it even if it is good for you. There was arugula, pine nuts, smoked ghouda, apple slices, and other things dressed with a curry vinagarette. Great. The salad came with the crab cake sandwiches and the chicken came with a bag of chips. Both of us thought the crab cakes were supreme. The one with the chicken sandwich thought that her sandwich was wonderful. Filled with big chunks of chicken, grapes, pecans, carrots and celery. She declared it also supreme although I felt sorry that she only got a bag of chips instead of the wonderful salad. Next time!! Probably tomorrow. Nothing on the menu that I could spot for more than 10 dollars. The only downer was that they served flavored iced tea instead of also having regular iced tea but there were other drinks to fill the void, soft drinks and lemonade. Can't go wrong here read more

What a gem! My wife discovered the restaurant via a travel website and we decided to give it a shot for lunch as we traveled through Flagstaff on I-40. Finding it is a bit of a challenge as it's tucked away behind street front buildings. Google Maps was an important tool in our search and we were rewarded with a great lunch...excellent food and warm customer service. Don't be discouraged by the simple, nearly sad, exterior. Simply delicious is right! Cobb salad - the vinaigrette was light and perfect, crumbled bacon and blue cheese, turkey, super delish and big enough to share. The lamb stew had a hint of a curry flavor - yummy. The iced tea had a hint of pumpkin spice. Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back. read more

Stopped by this place because it was something new and had really good reviews. I ordered the Tri-tip and Club sandwiches in order to try a couple new things. I was really excited about these sandwiches, but was really disappointed. With the Tri-tip, the meat really didn't have any flavour and was overpowered by the sauce that accompanied it. The sauce was along only one side of the sandwich, which was really annoying and made eating the sandwich a hassle. I had more hope for the club, but was disappointed with that as well. The meat(s) weren't layered on the sandwich, but we're kinda folded on each other and looked like a yin-yang symbol, so you couldn't get a taste of both at the same time. The bacon was nicely arranged on top, but was really salty. The sauce on the sandwich was also strong and had the aftertaste in my mouth for about 20 minutes after finishing the few bites I had. Spending $25 for two sandwiches is crazy and doubt I'll get any again. Not sure if I'll be returning. read more

I love this place. It is (by far) my favorite restarant in Flagstaff. Fantastic fish tacos, great chicken enchiladas, resh roast turkey, salads et al. But my new favorite is the Manhattan clam chowder. So flavorful. And they have inexpensive small tastes of dessert that are perfect. The only thing that would make it better is a wine and beer license. The food is so good, it cries out for a glass of wine. read more

Worth the trip for lunch traveling on our vacation from NYC.It's a great place to stop enroute from Phoenix when visiting Grand Canyon- very friendly staff, excellent fish and duck tacos- a great start to a wonderful vacation! Really good food. The location is fun and nice -- great atmosphere. The staff was amazing. Knocked off 1 star since I feel for what you get it is a little pricey -- a can of soda was like $2-3 and lots of the plates were $10-15+ when comparable places might charge 10ish. If I could I'd give this place a 4.5 though since everything else really made up for the slightly high prices. The fish tacos were A++. Would definitely come here again. read more

Ha! Simply disgusting!! They try to make the food so extra fancy that it has so many different conflicting flavors in a single dish. I ate a sandwich had an extremely thick layer of cream cheese, pickled red onions and the rest of the veggies must have been socked in vinegar! It was absolutely nasty. It tasted like it had been dipped in vinegar. The spinach enchiladas taste like pork flesh and was going for vegetarian that day. The cold salsa covering it made the whole enchilada cold. Whole enchilada...hehe! read more
