Simply dental is an amazing dental office. Had my teeth done there recently and they did a very good job. I had teeth pain for a couple weeks before going there and tried a different clinic but they couldn't fix it. Came here and after one visit the pain was gone. The workers are very friendly, the place is clean and modern, and this is a place I will definitely be coming back to. It is a bit far for me and I have lots of dental offices closer, but I am willing to do the drive and keep coming back here in the future :) read more

I go to see Dr. Andrew Young at Simply Dental for checkups and cleanings. From the moment I enter Simply Dental, the atmosphere is calming and everyone there is so kind. On one occasion I woke up with a painful toothache that got worse and unbearable in the evening. It was around 7PM when I decided to take a chance and call the emergency line to see if anyone can help me. Believe it or not Dr. Young rushed over to the office to see me after hours! He was so kind and understanding, I was beyond grateful. He fixed it right there and then. I can honestly say there's no doubt he truly cares about his patients. It was totally worth the 45 min drive to get immediate relief. Dr Andrew Young is caring, reliable, kind, knowledgeable and a young-spirited dentist. He makes his work seem so effortless. I brought my mom in to see Dr. Andy Young and he has just treated her so well and has been so accommodating. We are so grateful!! She had a tricky situation with a long span bridge in the front that broke and he discussed what the best options would be for her and has done an amazing job with the restorations which included replacing crowns, filling, making a flipper, doing a bone graft and placing implants. He always checked in on how she was doing during every procedure. My mom calls him her "dental angel". The receptionist wasn't customer friendly - gave me website to go fill up forms instead of giving specific details about what forms to fill in as I was the first time patient here. I am really glad i found a good dentist. Over the past few years i have looked high and low looking for a dentist that is kind, efficient, and has a good staff and finally i found Simply Dental. Dr. Wendy Yeung is nice and never make you feel intimidated, she also has a great staff behind her that make you feel welcomed. Don't go here. This place is a scam. I've been here 3 time for cleaning. The cleaning was done by a hygienist and the dentist would come in at the end for like 5 minutes. They not only charged the cleaning fee, but also the dentist consultation fee for the 5 minutes they showed up at the end. I had to dispute the charges and stuff. I think I will report them to the Washington medical board. It seems so illegal or unethical what they are doing. read more

I got an appointment for a general check up of my teeth and got checked by a doctor who said your teeth are totally fine and do not have much scaling. So, you should go for a simple cleaning. I agreed to do that and some other doctor appeared for the cleaning and said i have very heavy scaling and should go for deep cleaning and when i agreed, she did the cleaning of half of my teeth and said i needed another appointment for the other half which she did not tell me while starting. I went today for the other half and she did not do it properly and i can still feel the scaling in my teeth. Job was not done properly. read more

I have recently began seeing Dr. Yeung of Simply Dental, and all I can say is she is FANTASTIC. She is so caring, and very detail oriented. I have been going to this office for 4.5 years now. I've mostly done cleanings. But, I've also had more complicated things done like fillings and yesterday I got a crown. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff and dentists here are excellent. I feel everyone here is friendly and takes the time to explain what there doing. This review is for Dr. Andy, the dentist who performed my root canal. I've experienced a root canal procedure before, so I know what it's not supposed to be like. I was on time for my appointment, the oral hygienist took me to the area where the dentist would clean my tooth and see if a root canal was necessary. Dr. Andy came in about 10 minutes later and administered the anesthesia and then went away. And then came back 45 minutes to an hour later to start working on my tooth. He asked me if I was numb enough, and I told him that the numbness was almost starting to wear off. He said that the numbness would last about 2 hours. After the initial preparation, he showed me why the root canal would be necessary (because the nerve was exposed). He then started the root canal procedure. There was no consultation per se on what the procedure involved, what he'd be doing, how long the procedure would last. Mid way during the procedure Dr. Andy and the Oral Hygienist were cracking jokes and laughing. And then, while he was drilling I started to feel pain. This was bound to happen. It'd had been an hour and thirty minutes since the anesthesia had been administered, it was starting to wear off. He gave me a second dose. During most of the procedure he also consistently kept using a syringe to administer something, I don't know what it was and why it was needed. He must have used it at least 5-7 times. After the procedure was over he said that it's all done come back for the crown and disappeared. No consultation was provided on what care must be taken with the temporary filling. How soon I should be back for the crown. What it takes to setup the crown. Nothing at all. Overall the experience was pretty poor. Compared to my previous root canal experience, it was very poor. Bottom line, he is overbooked. He doesn't have the time for his patients. read more

Despite a little bit of unclear communication in setting up my appointment and some details surrounding the medication, I'm giving Simply Dental a 5-star review because of how awesome Dr. Andy and Julie (front desk) are. I especially appreciated Dr. Andy personally calling me (after I left an email) to tell me more about my options for my wisdom teeth. He was super supportive of the fear and anxiety I had with getting my extraction, and was not pushy whatsoever. When I showed up for my appointment, I had already taken one of the oral sedation pills and still felt totally normal. Dr. Andy didn't pull my teeth until giving me a second dose and waiting until I felt absolutely comfortable. Bringing my head phones and blasting Beyonce during the whole thing also helped make it much more enjoyable. Had 2 fillings and a crown completed here 3 months ago and am still in pain. Fillings hurt from day 1, the dentist tried to fix it, but they continue to hurt 3 months later. Crown is also still painful, but going to another doctor to get it fixed! Cleanings are probably fine, but don't get any serious work done here! read more

I was happy when I was having my teeth only cleaned. But after they had convinced me that I need a filling in one of my teeth (which I did not have a complaint), I started to have problems. In the middle of the operation, (somehow) it turned into a root canal procedure. But the operation outcome did not turn out well, and I am left behind with a smaller tooth which disturbs me while chewing and probably will see another dentist soon. read more

I cannot say enough awesome things about Simply Dental. Dr. Young and the staff have always been wonderful, helpful, & accommodating to me since day one. Since my initial consultation Dr. Young has been very professional and dedicated to making sure that I understand the work that needs to be done to correct and maintain the overall health of my mouth. He and the staff always make sure I'm comfortable and do their best to make each visit a great experience. One time I had a non-emergency (more of an inconvenience) when an old crown came loose. Dr. Young was able to get me worked into their already busy day to get it fixed. I didn't mind waiting because they had set the expectation for me that I would have an extended wait because of the volume of clients that day. I've never had an insurance or billing issue because they clearly communicate what is covered and take care of dealing with the insurance company. My dental insurance has a small annual coverage, but Simply Dental is very kind in working out a payment plan that works with my income. They keep a very clean and sterile office, and have complimentary coffee, water, and flavored drinks while you wait. I wanted to get in for a toothache. The office is on a main street Denny Way but getting to it is just plan difficult. You have to make sure you are on the right side of the street because you cannot cross the street to get to their parking lot if your heading east. Plus, there's no signage as where to park. Just a hassle when traffic is really bad. Totally irritating when you don't have a lot of time when stepping away from work. The office is nice. Pretty soothing vibe. The front office, not really competent in her dental insurance knowledge. Seemed a little inexperience. All that I can deal with because, I made the trek out to them. But Dr. Yeung seemed a little pre-occupied with pushing treatment. I asked if I could just have the root canal and build-up for now. But the office kept pushing for a crown as well. To start, let me say that we have had horrible experiences with other pediatric dentist in the surrounding areas, to the point that my daughter was terrified of every dentist. We were recommended to Simply Dental by family and thought we would give them a shot after years of dreading that dental check up time of year and wow! Simply Dental is a blessing. My daughter LOVED them. Loved them so much that she actually would cry when we passed their office because she wanted me to take her to have her teeth cleaned. It's been a few years now with us using them and both of my kids absolutely love them. They tell me how fun their visit was. My son wants to stop by just to say hey. The staff here also is jam up! Super friendly, super informative, and they actually care for their patients. I was extremely impressed on day one and years later we still are. worst dentists I've ever been. They strongly recommended me to cure tooth decay in December, however I listened what they said and what happened is they charged me $400 for just small tiny cavity, and I used all of my insurance in that year so i didn't have enough money to get insurance support, they didn't even check patients insurance situation. after 6months later, the part that they took care of the tooth, start having another cavity already...... I went to another dentist (has better rating than here) they were surprised that how they did terrible jobs and also one of the dentists asked me, "had they never asked you to remove wisdom teeth? it start pressuring the other teeth and that will messed up your row of teeth". I asked dentist from simply dental and what they said " you don't have to do anything until start hurting" it never hurt but start messing up my row of teeth and I might have to end it up with paying for straightening teeth which cost soo much of money!!! worst dentist ever. read more

worst dentists ive ever been in my life. first of all, they dont check your insurance status before you get to do the treatment, I worked for amazon, had great dental insurance, however, they asked me to treat for small cavity in december, and what happened in the end, my insurance out of the money and they charged me for $400. I could have just waited for 2 weeks and my insurance will cover for that and it was not like emergency things... and I went to another dentist after 3months later, ( they have better rating review than here) and what happened is, the tooth that simply dental took care of start getting another cavity from where they put the filling..... also the dentists asked me, " do they never asked you to remove your wisdom teeth?", I asked simply dental dentists, " dont I need to remove my widsom teeth?" and what they said is " no, if you start hurting yes, but you dont have to if you dont feel any pain". and now, what happened to me is, the wisdom pressed my teeth of the bottom and my row of teeth messed up so that I have to straightening my teeth which costs so much of money.... dont go here, seriously. you guys might think that here is the best service, but they will just ignore the big problem so that they can get more money. read more

I don't really understand why the reviews are so inflated. My experience was so-so. The "meh i've experienced better" is exactly my opinion. While my dentist was nice, she wasn't what I would call a professional. I went in for some cavities and tooth sensitivity. I specifically pointed to one of my, let's say, middle teeth being sensitive, but I was told it was because of a cavity in the very back of my mouth that was the problem because the pain was radiating to that middle tooth. So i ended up getting a filling in the back of my mouth, where I didnt see a cavity nor had any pain, and afterwards that middle tooth still hurt. Turns out I am losing some enamel on a few of my teeth... but not once throughout my check-up or fillings appointments did the dentist mention anything about the wearing of my enamel and how to better protect my teeth. Also, I was asked if I'd like to get my molar teeth removed, randomly, because they could "cause problems in the future." I never once complained about my molars giving me any problems, and still almost 2 years later they aren't. Dentist just wanted more $$$ and didn't care about my personal needs. If it's not broke, don't fix it. . I would not recommend this dentist office. I do not feel they do what is best for the patient, I feel they do what is best for their pocket books. read more
