About 1 year ago I dropped my phone and cracked the inside screen. I did not bother to get it fixed. Fast forward to the end of June 2026 and I went on vacation...to the beach...in Florida. I don't know what it was but seeing clear blue water just captivated me. As soon as I get to the beach, I go in the water, with my phone in my pocket. I sat in the water for less than 10 minutes until I realized it WAS in my pocket. At first I thought, 'oh it's okay, my phone is slightly water resistant?' Until I then remembered that I had cracked a screen on the phone the year before making it NOT WATER RESISTANT. I turned the phone on and saw it was working so I shut the screen off. I checked again and my phone had died. In a panic, I went to a nearby market and bought rice and put it in there. Later after checking, it was recommended to NOT do that, but the damage was done. About a week later I finally get home. It would be another week until I start doing research online as to where to take my phone. No matter where I searched, It was recommended to take my phone to GeekIT. Thankfully, I went with my gut based on the research I did. The internals of my phone were corroded from the saltwater, but GEEKIT was able to clean and save my device. Thank you for fixing it and being honest as to what was needed and working with me to get the best possible results that I wanted. GEEKIT helped me dodge a big bullet.

After looking at the phone for a couple of minutes in the back room, I was told "it's all taken care of now". There was some lint wrapped around one of the side contacts. No charge, no waiting, no run-around. I offered to pay something and was told that there was absolutely no charge. I so stunned that I failed to get the name of the gentleman that helped me, but once again - thank you so very much!

Best PC Haven said the charger was fine, ordered/installed a new part to plug into and returned my laptop for $120. Except the problem was not fixed. It was still exactly as I described when I dropped it off the first time plus the new, added problem of no sound (he'd forgotten to reattached the wired when he opened it up). I took it back and he kept it from Monday to Saturday without looking at it or initiating the return of the new part, which he said he was going to to. After I followed up, on Sunday he reattached the sound wire and said he just initiated return of the new part. I questioned him via text because he said he would order the part on Monday and almost a week had passed. Within an hour, he said my Dell laptop was now "fixed". Now the part wasn't the issue but it was the power cord. He had an HP cord that he was giving me "at no extra cost" but no refund for the new part which at this point appeared unnecessary. I took my laptop home and when I rebooted, got a warning about the power cord that could slow down operations. Understatement!!! It is barely usable now thanks to Best PC Haven. If I try to scroll my email or search or explore a website, the little circle just keeps going around. I can say with no hesitation that taking my pc to him was a huge mistake. And as a side note, the whole operation is unprofessional. You stand at the front door to give him your equipment and pick it up. And at least in my case, he clearly didn't test it after he worked on it to make sure the problem was solved and that he had not created new and worse issue.
