Crispy crust has plenty of air pockets to keep it light with a good chew. The BBQ onion is sweet. The roasted garlic had a bunch of garlic scattered all over. Lots of cheese on both. The last pizza, roasted red pepper, will be for another day. They had about five pre-made frozen pizza options when we visited. If you prefer, call ahead and they will build one fresh to your liking for you to pick up and bake at home. The interior shopping area is small. By the register is a pastry display case with the most enormous stuffed croissants, scones, cookies and other sweet treats. Behind that is a display of fresh breads. On a rack by the door are bagged bread goods. Freezer and refrigerator cases are along the wall. If I lived around here I would without a doubt be a regular customer and try all their offerings. Prompt communication due to seasonal ingredients changing led to a delicious and beautiful creation (they made a custom pie top to make it a birthday special!) The gluten free birthday person said "Magnificent!" noting they somehow achieved thin flaky layers of crust without crumbling or being gluey--which is a rare feat. Trying to place an order well in advance was a nightmare. On three separate occasions, I was given different excuses: "You don't need to place it this far in advance," "The person who takes orders isn't here," and "We'll have someone call you back." Unfortunately, no one ever followed up. I was eventually able to place my order just a few days before the shower. On the day of the event, I went to pick up the order, only to be told they didn't have it. After some back-and-forth, they admitted they had forgotten to put the order in. As a solution, they offered full-size cannolis instead of the mini ones I had ordered, at the same price. While the situation was frustrating, I accepted this as a reasonable compromise given the circumstances. However, when I arrived at the venue and opened the boxes, I discovered that the cannoli's they promised were missing. I immediately called to address the issue, but the staff was rude and unhelpful. The only resolution they offered was a small gift card, which did not make up for the inconvenience or the impact on the event. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this bakery based on their poor communication, lack of organization, and inadequate customer service.

Going in I was greeted with a deli counter with pastries and the smell of fresh baked bread. The baker was curled up on a little rocking chair, cuddled in a blanket. Was the cutest thing I've seen, so had to pick up something. I opted for an assortment of pastries, letting the man behind the counter pick for me. I brought these home and had a little sampling with the girlfriend and the mom. Each one was flaky, almost to a fault due to the mess it made. filled with jams and preserves, sweet but not too sweet and varied enough to be uniquely tasty. All in all, not a bad little stop.
