You can tell they use liquid eggs from the carton the egg was so thick and dry, the bacon is clearly microwaveable, frozen hash browns from Costco (need to salt them) the jalepeno "sauce" is cream cheese and they used it VERY sparingly. Simply Panini makes mouthwatering paninis and a pretty darn decent iced coffee if you ask me. I've been there once before years ago when I was in the area after someone recommended them to me but I mostly just get my food delivered from them through Uber eats since I don't really go into downtown Tacoma anymore. Normally I get the breakfast sandwiches which have always been great but switched it up recently and tried a couple of their lunch menu items. If you like your sandwiches with a little bit of a kick, I highly recommend the jalapeño grilled cheese ! The gyro press panini is also very good, the flavor you'd expect from a classic gyro sandwich but instead of a pita it's on your choice of their bread. I went with wheat for the gyro and sourdough for the grilled cheese. The coffee can be a little too strong for me at times but it's normally good. I like the iced mochas and lattes with non fat milk and coconut flavor added. They have a variety of different milks and flavors you can add to the coffee drinks if you wish to. Overall, it's a great place to check out for breakfast or lunch. read more

Really enjoyed my first trip to this spot! It's in a convenient spot off commerce for a lot of the businesses there. The shop is pretty small with only six or so bar type seats available, there are outdoor tables but it's was a bit too cold for that today. I had the Cali Chicken Panini and was overall very satisfied. The best part was probably the bread, you get a choice between white, wheat, sourdough, or focaccia. I got the focaccia which was very soft inside and perfectly grilled on the outside. Veggies were fresh and loved that they used red onion! The only downside was that it was a bit messy with the liquid from the tomato as well as the sauce which was only okay. Still a good sandwich and they had plenty of other options that I'll be back to try. Prices were about average for the area, maybe slightly less at 11 for the Panini. read more

The sandwich was nicely toasted, and they didn't skimp on the avocado. The cafe was clean, and there were a bunch of ads for delicious (albeit sugar-loaded) espresso beverages as you walk in. I was very happy to try this place. I had never seen it or heard of it but my wife wanted to try it out. Its a small cute shop downtown. They make breakfast sandwiches and its pretty quick and easy... unfortunately I dont think we will be here too often. Its one of the Tacoma shops that is only open on the weekdays. There is another sandwich shop downtown that does this and it was also awesome but probably rarely visited by us. The reason these shops are able to do this is that they serve the Tacoma workforce and dont need to keep open during the weekend. This was easily one of the worst experiences I've had with customer service in Tacoma. Have ordered from them a number of time and when they get the order correct it's decent, but more often than not they get it completely wrong. Today I called to make sure they would get the order correct and I only got to "Hi I just ordered..." and was cut off. The woman on the phone started yelling at me that they couldn't complete my order because I asked for "no meat sub extra egg". When I calmly reminded her that that's the way I always order it she said aggressively "we did it twice before". I told her that I've ordered it a dozen times and regardless of other mistakes they have always made that substitute. Then she started yelling again saying "Sir! Sir! We can't do it when you order more than one sandwich!" Clearly just making up reasons to abuse customers. At this point I'd had enough of her verbal abuse and nonsensical rules. Finally she would not cancel my order even though she told me she couldn't make the order, forcing me to call Uber Eats and wait for them to call the restaurant to confirm. I ate here because it is convenient when I can't cook and there aren't a lot of places to get a basic egg sandwich in town. Not because it's good, and certainly not because of customer service. I advise you to avoid this place. Update: The owner is flat out lying in her response here. I was yelled at the moment I connected with somebody and it didn't end until the phone was hung up. They are abusive and her response is not at all the way the conversation went down. I didn't request anything abnormal on the sandwich as shown above and the only reason I was calling was to make sure it was sent correctly this time. It's clear in her response that they started making the sandwich even though I requested no meat, which means she had no intention of contacting me to let me know they could not oblige. That's bad business and can lead to health concerns. I was happy to leave this review alone along with the several other one-star reviews, but now I intend to share it with as many people as possible. read more

Just plain good, ingredients seemed fresh, a couple different options for bread I had the turkey bacon grilled panini first day, asked to add onions and that didn't happen but it was still really good and second day had the chicken Avocado panini and that was really good, ordered both on sourdough and had them delivered. The crust on the sourdough gets a little chewy by the time I get to eat it and it's actually really good like that. Only downside is they are a little pricey, 12.00$ just the sandwich, I ordered a bag of chips today and they were 1.75$ I figured they were probably a pretty good size bag but they weren't even the big grab size. This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! I've been here multiple times already with both my sisters since they've opened. I normally order their Grilled Veggie Press on wheat. The bread was drizzled in olive oil and perfectly toasted on the outside. The panini consisted of spinach, red onions, roasted red peppers, grilled eggplant, sundried tomato sauce, feta, and artichoke hearts. The ingredients perfectly balanced one another and made for a delicious lunch for only $7.50!!! Considering the quality of their food, you honestly cannot beat the price. Being a vegetarian, it's difficult to find a place that not only serves food thats great in taste, but is also high in quality, affordable, and is quick to order. Not only is their food beyond amazing, but their chic and modern atmosphere combined with their cleanliness creates the perfect ambiance. Their service is truly top notch as well. Quick, efficient, and extremely friendly!!! The owner Kevin, was very welcoming. The moment I walk in, I am always greeted with a warm and friendly 'Hello!' This place is FANTASTIC! The atmosphere, and the decor were perfect, and fit right into the area it's at. It was clean, and the staff was friendly. I love that they serve big train blended drinks, they are almost like coffee milkshakes. Everything from the food to the drinks were made with care, you could tell that this place takes pride in what they do. I love food that is light, and non-greasy, yet still leaves me feeling full. Came here after taking an exam hungry. Hooding to grab some food across the street but they weren't open. Luckily this place was. After looking at the menu for like 20 minutes I ordered the power sand which . I ordered this one because I saw that it comes with egg and avocado. I give this sandwich 3 star because there was no wow factor. But it was still good ;). The other sandwich I grabbed was the cali chicken. Now the chicken cali sandwich was a bit better. I just wish the chicken had more flavor and less dry. Maybe when I need to study before my morning exam, you will see me here picking something up. I have to note that the store itself is very small.
