Really loved my Pho here! I ended up getting a Pho that had fatty brisket, skirt flank, well done flank and tendon. The broth was perfect, the veggies were perfect. They have many different options on the menu besides pho as well so everyone in my party got something different. Probably my third or fourth time here. First of all, upon entering for lunch on a weekday we saw the place was a full house, either with people or unbussed tables. There was still only one person (guessing it's the owner) working the entire restaurant. And as you can see from others' photos, the menu had many menu items with modified prices using whiteout. For me I can let an item here and there go, but if there are something like 20 items on every menu, it's probably time to reprint. It took a while to get our drinks and orders, but the food did come out at a reasonable time, and the guy was very polite. My bun bo hue was pretty good, but not very spicy but the portion was on the smaller side. However, as lunch went on and even with what looked like downtime, the tables were still not getting cleaned up. Also had to ring the bell to pay at the front counter. Again I can go out to say how great this food is. On February 1st we had the delight to come here again with my father this time. I get the special pho like I normally do and it has always done amazing. The broth was warm and had a nice brownish dark tent with some oil on top. The different meats inside absorbed a lot of the flavors that the broth provided. I can't even get over how soft the noddles were and how absorbent they were. As someone who is half Vietnamese my dad even said while eating that the broth tasted fresh and the meatballs were handmade and were amazing. Our waiter there has seen us many times and is always prefect with our order a long with making sure we have everything we need. I have something to admit. I don't tell many people. I just don't want to be judged. But I'm not a big pho fan. There, I said it. I rarely vote to go to a pho restaurant. But if I go, I never order the pho. I get the grilled pork rice. Always. But tonight, it was cold. And it was raining. And the door kept opening and the wind kept blowing in and I was cold. And the pho smelled REALLY good. So I did it. I ordered the pho dac biet (special). It was solid. Like really really good. For $12.95, you get a large bowl of pho with a filling amount of noodles and a generous amount of meats. The pho broth warmed my soul. It is a little on the sweet side, and I loved it. The fatty brisket and meatballs were my favorite, and the tendon was not far behind. The filet and tripe followed closely after. This place was a one man show. Our host was also our waiter, who also cleared tables, who, I'm pretty sure, also prepared the food. I don't know how he does it but the entire time, he was so warm and welcoming and always had a smile on his face every time he came by. My only real complaint is that the menu prices aren't real clear. Because of inflation (safe assumption) the menu prices rose so they crossed out the old prices with a sharpie and wrote in new prices. Bad part - some of the prices have rubbed off so you can't even see how much half the items are. But, nothing a question to your waiter can't solve. If you're looking for a nice, clean pho (almost an oxymoron) spot, this is the place to go. Its located in the shopping center to the right of HEB and has plenty of parking available. There is only 1 person working the entire front and 1 person in the back in the kitchen. The guy in the front is nice, but clearly overworked and overwhelmed. He cleans tables, takes orders, brings out food, seats customers, and works the register all by himself. That leaves no one to check on customers or refill their waters. The wait times are too long for a vietnamese restaurant. This isn't my first time coming here, but it seems things don't change and the owners are probably too cheap to hire more help. There are no hiring signs and their menu needs an upgrade. It's falling apart and the prices have been whited out and changed multiple times. Fast, delicious & affordable! After what felt like an eternity of cold rainy weather in Houston I was in desperate need of some hot pho! I was in sugar land running some errands & I'm so glad I searched a pho spot while I was still there because this place popped up only 1.6 miles away. Upon arriving on a Saturday afternoon there were a few patrons there. I was immediately greeted by the owner, he sat me & returned promptly to take my order. I had some questions about the menu & he made a recommendation (his rec was spot on btw) The pho came out super quick, piping hot & I can honestly say the broth was sooooo good on its own! I usually pour heaps of siracha and hoisin sauce into my bowl of pho but not today!!! It was so flavorful & since I love spicy food but didn't want to take away from the natural flavor I asked for some chili oil (it was the perfect addition) I almost licked my bowl clean y'all!! Whew!! Pretty sure there wasn't one noodle or scrap of meat left, just some broth but only because I was stuffed & it didn't fit or I would've downed that too. When the food got here, we didn't have any utensils until we asked. recommendation is to just make things a bit easier for yourself - like have utensils at the tables for people to get themselves. I really wanted to like this place, since it was close to home. I have previously tried the Bo Ne at their Katy location, which was just ok to me. So, my family and I came here and started with their fried egg rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee, both of which were very good. We were all excited to then try their yummy pho and bun bo hue. Unfortunately, both of these noodle dishes had their issues. For the yummy pho, the broth was disappointingly bland. It was so dilute, I actually wondered if they cooked this beef broth long enough. Even adding copious amounts of hoisin and sriracha sauce to the broth didn't make it any better. The beef rib that's included in the yummy pho was chewy and flavorless as well. It was severely under-seasoned and needed lots of salt. Surprisingly, the bun bo hue broth was quite flavorful. Definitely add a lime or two to this broth to help cut the richness. But, this dish was skimpy on the noodles. My family also mentioned that the noodles didn't match the bun bo hue broth. It was spaghetti like noodles. In addition, my younger bro did try their banh mi sandwich, which was chewy and dry. They skimped on the fillings for this sandwich too. For a spot whose name specializes in pho and bo ne, we didn't enjoy these dishes. Plus, the price point for these dishes was a bit higher than similar spots in SL, like Pho Ben. We're not sure we'd come back if the flavor quality is like this. read more

Went to visit this place because they supposedly had some good pho for sugarland Texas. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked to have a seat. After a rainy Friday evening supporting the local Sugarland Skeeters, we wanted some good pho. Pho is a dish that can go very well or it can take a turn really bad. The broth was great. For a bowl of pho for $13.99 you would expect more variety of meats from eye of round, meatball, tripe, tendon..you get the jist. I found like 2 pieces of each meat, and one meatball on my dish. The Dino rib was for looks. It was unseasoned and was rendered down to being inedible. Also the noodles was clearly the over cooked and turned into mush within minutes upon arriving to my table. Yes I'm aware that it was 45 mins till closing that evening but if someone will come in and have a quality bowl of pho. Skip this place and go elsewhere. Many great locations in Houston and Katy. The vermicelli cold noodles with the grilled pork was good but again the rice noodles became mushy. Details like this will hurt a business in the long run. Also please don't have that horrendous Back Street Boys music playing to set an ambiance of annoyance in the restaurant.
