5 stars mainly for the eggrolls and quality of the pho broth and ingredients. Typical interior setting for a pho restaurant; service was quick. Eggrolls were crispy and hot! Fish sauce was good. Ordered a small pho tai. Delicious broth! Would be the perfect bowl of pho if there was a little more protein included. Other pho places have a better ratio of meat to noodles. If I'm in this area of Sugar Land, I would come back to dine again!

Really loved my Pho here! I ended up getting a Pho that had fatty brisket, skirt flank, well done flank and tendon. The broth was perfect, the veggies were perfect. They have many different options on the menu besides pho as well so everyone in my party got something different. There was only one person who took the orders and brought the food for the entire restaurant. There was another person from the kitchen that helped her from time to time. She did a great job and was super friendly! The place is kinda hidden, but GPS took me right there - there is plenty of parking. One of the better Pho experiences I've had in Houston!

Looking for quick simple place to get my vermicelli and I found a spot right there on highway 6 near 90. My wife and I each ordered the chicken vermicelli and it was really good. Service was fast and the place was really clean. Good price too. We're coming back for sure.

Again I can go out to say how great this food is. On February 1st we had the delight to come here again with my father this time. I get the special pho like I normally do and it has always done amazing. The broth was warm and had a nice brownish dark tent with some oil on top. The different meats inside absorbed a lot of the flavors that the broth provided. I can't even get over how soft the noddles were and how absorbent they were. As someone who is half Vietnamese my dad even said while eating that the broth tasted fresh and the meatballs were handmade and were amazing. Our waiter there has seen us many times and is always prefect with our order a long with making sure we have everything we need. I have tried many pho restaurants in bellaire Houston, Sugarland, Washington state, and home for I am part Vietnamese and will say this restaurant has the pho me and my family go to when it's cold outside or just want a taste from home.

Probably my third or fourth time here. First of all, upon entering for lunch on a weekday we saw the place was a full house, either with people or unbussed tables. There was still only one person (guessing it's the owner) working the entire restaurant. And as you can see from others' photos, the menu had many menu items with modified prices using whiteout. For me I can let an item here and there go, but if there are something like 20 items on every menu, it's probably time to reprint. It took a while to get our drinks and orders, but the food did come out at a reasonable time, and the guy was very polite. My bun bo hue was pretty good, but not very spicy but the portion was on the smaller side. However, as lunch went on and even with what looked like downtime, the tables were still not getting cleaned up. Also had to ring the bell to pay at the front counter. I sincerely hope he wasn't cooking in the back. The place is nice and the food is good, but could really use an extra hand.

Best Salty Lemonade I've had. It comes in a large glass, which I am happy about. They said they make themselves. I can tell they are using good sea salt.

Pho Dac Biet. $12.95 as of Dec 2022. It's delicious! Decent amount of meat and veggies.

The pho here is fantastic. The broth has great flavor, the bowl comes with a decent portion of meat, they don't skimp on the garnish, and the noodles aren't all clumped into one piece. On a cold rainy day, this surely hits the spot! Prices has gone up since opening, but what hasn't these days? For a large Dac Biet (special), the total is $12.95 without tax or tip (as of Dec 2022). If you pay in cash, you get 5% discount! For the quality and portion, I would say that this is about right, but no higher. Service was only a one man show. He cleaned, took orders, served, and checked out. Although there were a lot of people, he was able to swiftly serve everyone because people came in at staggered times. Seemed like a nice guy, possibly the owner. Would I come back again? Pho sure!

I have something to admit. I don't tell many people. I just don't want to be judged. But I'm not a big pho fan. There, I said it. I rarely vote to go to a pho restaurant. But if I go, I never order the pho. I get the grilled pork rice. Always. But tonight, it was cold. And it was raining. And the door kept opening and the wind kept blowing in and I was cold. And the pho smelled REALLY good. So I did it. I ordered the pho dac biet (special). It was solid. Like really really good. For $12.95, you get a large bowl of pho with a filling amount of noodles and a generous amount of meats. The pho broth warmed my soul. It is a little on the sweet side, and I loved it. The fatty brisket and meatballs were my favorite, and the tendon was not far behind. The filet and tripe followed closely after. This place was a one man show. Our host was also our waiter, who also cleared tables, who, I'm pretty sure, also prepared the food. I don't know how he does it but the entire time, he was so warm and welcoming and always had a smile on his face every time he came by. My only real complaint is that the menu prices aren't real clear. Because of inflation (safe assumption) the menu prices rose so they crossed out the old prices with a sharpie and wrote in new prices. Bad part - some of the prices have rubbed off so you can't even see how much half the items are. But, nothing a question to your waiter can't solve. This was our first, but definitely not our last time coming.

My friend recommended this place in Sugar Land, a bit of a drive but it was worth it! Showed up at 11:20 am to beat the lunch crowd. Definitely short staffed as only 1 guy was working. Seated immediately and ordered #4 ($16) pho with ribs, filet mignon, tripes, meatballs, etc and a vermicelli bowl ($11)with grilled pork. Both came within 5 minutes after ordering. Very flavorful and rich broth; I love when broth was super hot! So much meat, maybe a lb in the bowl? It's like endless meat. Vermicelli bowl was refreshing with the usual carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers. Good amount of meat too. Wonderful meal. There were 5 tables when we left and need to be patient since there's only 1 guy working in the front and 1 in thr back.

Pho tai... disappointed in the amount of meat. Looks like a half portion
    Diana N.

Used to be our go- to pho place but our order today consisted of a lot of FAT and the bone (special pho) looked like it was half eaten. My portion of pho Tai looked like half a portion of meat. I typically get pho Tai bo vien but my mom ordered just pho Tai thinking it would have a larger portion.

    simply pho. simply delicious.

If you're looking for a nice, clean pho (almost an oxymoron) spot, this is the place to go. Its located in the shopping center to the right of HEB and has plenty of parking available. What we got: - Vietnamese iced coffee: These things come out in a HUGE cup with more than enough coffee to keep you wired for the day. Not overly sweet and does the job nicely - Simply pho: Of course you have to get at least one of the namesake items. This one did NOT disappoint. As many of the pictures/reviews have stated, it comes with a massive beef rib and an assortment of the other meats you would find in something like a pho dac biet. It only comes in one size and is very affordable The waitstaff is super friendly and attentive and the place is really clean & can accommodate bigger groups/parties. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and craving pho!

It's always a great experience every time I come here. Food comes out hot and fast every time. The broth is amazing and tasty. Great prices. The owner is kind and sweet. The workers are always so kind and respectful. I always eat here alone. It's always so calm and chill. Highly introvert-friendly. I love coming here. I always feel so comfortable and welcomed here. It's such a nice and cozy spot.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

The grilled meats, fresh herbs, perfectly cooked rice noodles all made up perfect bite after perfect bite. The portion is quite large and filling, so I definitely feel like this is a very good option if you're looking for Vietnamese but not just your typical pho and banh mi options. The pho was solid too, but the only complaint I will make about the pho is that the portion of meat was way too small, contrary to the bun cha. We ordered a build your own bowl, and it came with maybe 1 piece of each of the meats we selected. The broth itself was pretty good and perhaps one of the better pho soups in the area. Wow this is def lower than majority of the places I usually go to. It's very hard to find banh mi for $5.25 now since most places are around $6+ now let alone $10.95 for pho (large). Also a bonus that they have a lunch combo for $13 which includes appetizer, entree, drink! Second the food. I ordered the lunch combo for $13. Got the egg roll and the pho (choose 4 meats) and an ice tea. The egg roll was decent and the pho was good but I prefer for it to have a little bit more stronger flavor. Nonetheless it wasn't bad. My boyfriend got the bun bo hue and he said it's decent, not very salty so he had to add some shrimp paste to his liking. I think the only comment he had was that he didn't like that they didn't give pork feet and just gave a slice of pork instead. TLDR: How's food? Decent. Price? Good value. Would I come back? Yes.
