It has been a year ago since I Discovered this Restaurant but finally made it back . Even though this Visit I couldn't stay a while, the take out was great. The Owners were very nice people, just as they were on my first Visit. The Wife is Cute, Sexy and talkative. I Ordered Chicken PHO, Egg Rolls, Chicken and Pork Sandwich's, and wings. Great Meal Plenty to share and PHO left ova for the next day. The PHO chicken, large Breast cuts but a bit dry for my taste. The Egg Rolls good 4 pieces but it seems to be 2 cut in half's. The Wing Sauce a bit too sweet for me but all in all the Meal was as good as I remembered. It maybe a while but I will be back.

One of my favorite place in the area for Vietnamese egg rolls - you wrap them with lettuce, stuff it with veggies, and dip it in the sauce. This place's rendition of the egg rolls are worth coming back for. Have it with Vietnamese coffee, and some char-grilled pork, or even banh mi (which is what I did) and you're good to go. Nice to see that this mom & pop place can make a good business out of a great product. Price: good Atmosphere: clean hole-in-wall Service: friendly, family-owned

I only tried this place out because it's the only pho place anywhere near my office. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! I went after what I assume may have been a lunch rush and there were only 2 people there (one of whom I felt like had some affiliation with the restaurant). The proprietor was in the kitchen and it took her a little bit to come out. The tables are teeny tiny, like 2 tops with 4 chairs. It was clean enough overall, with the typical mash up décor - a little modern stuff, a little traditional Asian stuff, random color scheme, etc. I went for a basic pho tai to get the best idea of the food quality. The broth is a little thin and not quite flavorful enough. There was a good amount of meat and noodles. I also went during the time of the great lime shortage, so I received a LEMON instead... no bueno. The owner was very nice, but kept disappearing for long periods of time, so I made sure to catch her so I could pay ahead of time. I probably wouldn't come back here unless I was in DIRE need of pho while at the office.

Spring roll

So apparently they enjoy leaving hairs in the food , decided to come here on my lunch break , once I opened my food I seen the hair called to let the know & try to get a refund , cashier said I had to come back mind you I'm already back at work , didn't have time to go back for the refund then proceed to accuse me of doing the same thing at the taco spot next door . Wasn't gonna argue over 4.50 apparently they need it more than I do

I'll give them 5 stars! I ordered a chicken banh mi for $3.50 and an iced tea for $1.50, ($5 total) plus tax, which came to $5.50, so I guess their prices were a few pennies over the menu price, since tax is 8.25%. But, the math geek in me digresses... The iced tea was what I thought it would be, and the chicken banh mi was great. It was full of meat and the staff was polite and outgoing. I'm glad I stopped in here and for costing $3.50, as of AUG 2017, it's a good price, considering what you get!

Bright yellow head fat inside, how it should be!

IMO, best crawfish in town and at only 5.99 a pound! The crawfish are a good size, with most of them ranging anywhere from 4-6" in length. The sauce and spices they're cooked in are just right, fragrant and flavorful with an almost creamy buttery consistency that acts as the perfect dipping sauce for the tails. And the heads, my god the head fat is bright yellow and savory and rich, how crawfish head fat should be! I haven't tried the pho or banh mi here but the eggs rolls are definitely worth mentioning. They are freshly fried to order and are scalding hot and crispy and meaty with a side of very fresh vegetables to wrap them in (not like the vegetables at some places where it looks like it's been sitting around for a bit too long). Anyways it's worth mentioning that they don't serve crawfish everyday so it's best to call ahead if that's what your planning on getting. And when they sell out for the day, that's it that's all folks. They only offer crawfish if it's fresh enough and large enough for their standards which I can appreciate. But when they do have it, theirs really can't be beat! This place is run solely by the lovely couple who own the place so service can be slow at times if things are busy. But for me that just adds to the charm of the place, and really the couple who own it couldn't be more nicer or friendlier people. The restaurant is always nice and clean with plenty of seating too.

Sandwich was good. People very friendly. This is a good spot and close to the job. Couple other things on the menu that I will be trying.

Pho (E5) and wings (A5)
Eme G.

Pho was kind of bland. All I could taste was the star anise and fish sauce. But the wings were good. I have driven by this place several times, and had it not been for a recommendation I would have never tried it. It's decent. Owner greeted us. If I was in Stafford or at HCC Southwest I'd consider coming back for a quick lunch. But it's not a place I'd make a special trip for... Or recommend.

It was one of those first-bite moments where you just stop and look at your food like... wait. What is this magic? The bread was perfect, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The sauce was incredible, flavorful without overpowering everything else. And somehow they made the carrots taste amazing. Carrots! I don't know what they're doing back there, but it works. I paired it with a Vietnamese coffee and that sealed the deal. Rich, bold, slightly sweet, exactly what you want. Instantly, this became one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. I was so excited about it that I brought my kids back that weekend, only to realize they weren't open. Total heartbreak. So definitely check the hours before you make the drive, especially if you're not close to Stafford. I think I might be in love with a restaurant. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

In my experience, beef chow fun at other restaurants often suffers from soggy rice noodles, uneven flavoring, and noodles that stick together. Most notably, other places often use excessive oil that pools at the bottom of the plate. As you can see in the attached pictures, the flavor here was very even, and the texture was firm without being chewy. Each noodle was clearly separated, and there was almost no oil pooling at the bottom. Having eaten Chinese and Vietnamese food my entire life, I strongly recommend this place.

The place is almost always busy proving the quality of the food and the kind attentive service from the staff. When you enter, I usually just a spot and I'm quickly spotted by a waiter. They take the order quickly and the food comes out relatively quickly and hot. The staff even call out the classic phrase "Nước sôi!" when they bring a hot dish out of the kitchen. This phrase translates to boiling water, but they do this for patron safety. I've ordered the Cơm chiên gà xối mỡ which is fried rice with crispy chicken. The rice and chicken are cooked perfectly and the rice has crunch bits made for it. Know this ahead of time (#1) and head past the bulk of folks to the door and one will find a largely Viet crowd, high ceilings, and a strong aroma of spices and broth. It's spacious enough for all kinds of groups and the natural lighting is a nice touch. The signature pho is really their house special (#2), which is loaded with hearty beef cuts and a pungent yet semi-murky broth. The generous cuts of meats, especially the tenderness of the tendon and heartiness of the brisket were the real standouts and certainly made the meal that much more satisfying.
