I've also been to several studios in Austin and they're not even in the same league. Many studios advertise as "Pilates" but they teach some strange, made-up hybrid and newcomers don't realize it's NOT actually Pilates. I'm kind of an equipment snob and I'm proud to say they have gorgeous (and extremely expensive) equipment. All the best in Reformers, Cadillacs, Towers, Wunda Chairs, etc. If you combine that with a staff of insanely talented and well-trained instructors, you've got a magical recipe! I'm so grateful they exist. You get something different with every instructor and the variety keeps your body guessing. The owner is also an instructor and extremely involved in the studio. I can't recommend highly enough!

I thought I was in kind of good shape until that workout and now I am on a mission to become the shortest gumby ever! I am tentative about submitting this review because you will all want to see Cara now. But we should all strive to live a healthy and active life. This place is great because it is quiet and kind of hidden in Tarrytown. There are only 5 machines per class, but that doesn't mean there will always be 5 people in the class. There are several classes they offer but the hours are not terribly late during all days which is kind of not ideal with my schedule but I am willing to go on the middle of a Saturday b/c hey I'm still sore even today.

A lot of focus on core, lower abs and thighs! The studio is small and clean with a bathroom, storage cubes and water fountain. There's a parking garage in the back/attached to the building which is nice. Parking is free for 3 hours.

Each class is 45 minutes long and goes by quickly. Both classes had different instructors with different moves focused on concentrating your muscles and moving slowly. I was shaking the entire time. Oddly I wasn't really sore the next day. There are many class options available too, so if you miss one, odds are the next one starts in 15 minutes. Overall, with many locations, Pure Pilates is worth trying!

Jenna was extremely friendly and a wonderful instructor. This was my second Pilates class, but my first at this location. She made me feel so at ease with her warm demeanor and her knowledge about the workouts. The studio itself is so clean and aesthetically pleasing with lots of light and windows in the studio. The music was at the right volume, not too loud not too soft. Parking was easy - they provide 90 min validation in the LAZ parking garage nearby. I look forward to coming back!

The classes remain consistently intense and a fantastic workout. There's a wide range of classes offered every day, and I really appreciate the variety of instructors--you get to find your favorites over time, which makes the experience even better. The studio has a friendly vibe, and most of the spaces are clean. That said, there are usually some stray hairs on the studio floor and a persistent fly that seems to live in Studio 1 (it's become a bit of a running joke in my head). The bathrooms and locker areas, on the other hand, are always very clean and well-maintained. I also love that they provide two hours of validated parking for the nearby garage--super convenient. If I had to point out a couple of areas for improvement: I wish they cleaned the studio floors a bit more thoroughly between classes. I've started wearing socks anytime I'm not on my mat to avoid stepping on anything. I'd also love to see more studio-wide challenges. In the four months I've been attending, there's only been one (the Summer Glow Challenge in August), which was super motivating--it would be great to have more of these throughout the year. Overall, I love this studio, have an all-access membership, and plan to keep coming here for the foreseeable future!

This location is right across from Mueller Lake Park with plenty of street parking and a pay to park parking garage ($2 an hour but the studio covers parking here). There are 2 bathrooms with showers and a large locker/cubby area that also has a sink/vanity area. There are 2 class rooms that both have a wall of windows open to the street. I have really enjoyed taking classes here! It is clean and instructors are friendly. I recommend this location if you haven't checked it out yet. I love to go for walks in the park after taking a class for an extra cooldown. Happy flowing!

She took it easy on me (for now) and tailored the workout just to what I needed that day - easy on the legs, hard on the abs. It's great to have an instructor who's flexible, not sticking to the same routine and will create the workout around what you need that day. The facility is in a good location, easy to get to, easy to park at and all of her equipment is in great shape (hah). Cameron is lots of fun, energetic, easy going, but will still give you a good, hard workout - I HIGHLY recommend her!!
