We reached out to several carpet companies for quotes, but most of them gave us prices over the phone without ever seeing the house. Sam was the only one who insisted on coming out in person to inspect everything first--and thank goodness he did. He arrived with a black light and immediately discovered that the existing carpet throughout our home was saturated with pet urine from the previous owners. He even pulled the carpet back to show us that the urine had soaked through the pad and into the baseboards. He was completely honest and told us that even if we paid him $1,000, he wouldn't clean the carpet because it simply wasn't salvageable. That level of honesty is hard to find these days. Instead of trying to sell us a service that wouldn't work, Sam helped us make the right decision by replacing the carpet. His pricing was very fair, and there was never any pressure. We chose our carpet on a Friday, met with Sam the following Tuesday to sign the contract and pay the deposit, and his crew was already at our house demoing the old carpet that same day. The project was expected to be completed by Sunday, but they finished an entire day early on Saturday. The installation came out beautifully. The carpet is incredibly soft and plush--it honestly feels like we're walking on clouds. The craftsmanship is excellent, from the seamless installation throughout the rooms to the beautifully finished stairs. Everything looks clean, professional, and was completed with great attention to detail. Communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Whenever we called or texted Sam, he responded promptly and kept us informed every step of the way. To top it all off, Sam stands behind his work. He provides a one-year warranty, and if the carpet stretches or anything needs adjusting, they'll come back and make it right at no charge. It's rare to find a contractor who is this honest, responsive, and committed to doing quality work. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and highly recommend Sam's Carpet Services to anyone looking for carpet cleaning or carpet installation.

We rearranged all the furniture the night before and made arrangements for our dog to be gone during the day of the cleaning appointment. I had a doctor appointment that morning but my partner was home waiting for Eric to arrive. I received several texts from two different phone numbers stating it was Eric and he had a flat tire. I received these texts while I was at my dr. appointment so I did not see them right away. When I was done with the doctor and saw the texts and replied (within the 8:15am to 9:25am appointment window) he said that he moved onto the next appointment and wouldn't be coming. This was at 9:20 am! I called him several times then and left voicemails but he never answered or called back. There was somebody waiting at the house for him to clean our carpets and he never showed up, wasting our entire morning and having to rearrange all the heavy furniture for nothing. When I tried to contact Groupon to file a complaint and get my money back, he lied and said we called him names like trash and that he refused to refund our money. We told him his customer service was trash, not him personally, which is true! I had to file many complaints and waste so much time with Groupon trying to get my money back from this guy. Adding a surcharge to a credit card purchase -must be done AT THE POINT OF SALE - I.e. when I bought the Groupon not after the carpet was cleaned AND btw - Businesses MUST notify the card network and acquirer (processor) in advance of adding a surcharge (Visa/Mastercard requires 30 days' notice). Hope this helps and thanks for mentioning that you usually charge your customers 3% and not charging us. Carpet looks cleaner but we could still see the outline of my furniture (we had to move) when you left and we did have to wash our tile from your footprints.

I used Eco Clean in March of 2016 and I was very pleased with the service. Two gentlemen came to my home. I requested they clean two small bedrooms, a hallway, and my living room. All in all it was approx. 650 sqft. I purchased the Groupon for a up to 1200 sq ft. The first time I used Eco Clean I felt like the technicians were competent, took time to listen to what I had to say about my carpet (I had 2 spots of concern) and they made a recommendation to me based on my needs. They did explain there was a deep clean option available, but based on the fact that I only had two small stains to work on they were not going to recommend the deep clean to me. They treated those small stains before doing the general cleaning. I felt like they took their time in each space making sure to get my carpets nice and clean with the regular solution, and they were able to get out the two small stains. Based on my experience in March 2016 I decided to call Eco Clean back for another cleaning for the same rooms. A different technician came this time. He immediately attempted to upsell me on a deep clean without hearing what I had to say about my home, or even walking around to do a thorough inspection of my carpet to offer his professional opinion. I pointed out 2 small (less than the size of a medium drink lid) spots, and a higher traffic area right in front of my couch. He told me the deep clean would take care of the traffic area but that he couldn't get the other stains out because they were colored. He offered 0 recommendations on the stains and said they were permanent. He made no effort to remove them. I said I didn't want to pay a higher price for the whole deep clean when the only space that needed more treatment was the in front of the couch. After I stated I didn't want the deep clean he went outside and brought in his hoses. He spent very little time in each bedroom and the hallway, under five minutes for each space. When he got to the living room I asked if there was any way to treat just the area in front of my couch. With a bit of a huff he went outside and got the cleanser to treat that area. He let it sit for only a minute or two before sucking it back up and stated "see, this gets out the dirt, it would take care of your carpet." At that point I asked him to better explain the difference between the general and the deep cleaning. His response was "it is better." As a customer I don't want to just pay extra because the employee says it is better, I want to understand why and know that it is worth the additional money. The only information he did give me was that the deep cleanser breaks up the oils in the carpet. I asked if he was just using hot water for the general cleaning and he said no, that it was a conditioner. He spent a total of approx 25 minutes cleaning. I don't think this was adequate time to do a thorough job considering the first time my carpets were cleaned the techs were there for about 45 minutes. Once he finished he stood on the freshly cleaned carpets with his shoes on... the same shoes he walked outside in. I asked if he could please stand on the tile entrance way since he had finished cleaning the carpet and he replied "my shoes aren't dirty." I don't find that professional. I feel like the job was rushed, and that Jason was more concerned with an upsell than really helping me understand why I needed it. Compared to my first experience, which I would rate 5 stars, this one was a bit disappointing. I'd still use Eco Clean in the future because for the small size of my home I find you to be very affordable, but I would request a different technician come to my home and I would also suggest that if the company wishes to upsell the packages, the techs should be more knowledgeable and educate the homeowner about the differences, not simply say "because it is better." I hired Eco Clean via Groupon and had them steam clean/seal our Travertine Tile, carpet plus two staircases, an area rug plus a chair. The Groupon wasn't a big savings, but when I called to schedule the appt., the manager gave me a better rate b/c we were having so much done and I appreciated her offer. Taylor, the technician arrived promptly at 9am on 8/24. I took him to my daughters room and showed him the blood stains from her recent bloody nose. She dripped blood from her room, down the hall and around the master suite. He measured and sprayed the carpet for the next hour and began cleaning at 10am. After he was done cleaning the upstairs, I went to see how he did on removing the blood.The spots were still there w/no evidence that he treated them. I also noticed that he didn't move anything -- not even the empty hamper (I wasn't expecting him to move the furniture). I told him that the stains didn't look any better and he said that he could try a remover that is in his truck. He didn't use anything on them earlier. What?? I left at 1:30pm to pick up the kids from school/run errands, and my husband said that he didn't leave until around 3pm. When I got home, the carpet didn't look any cleaner than it did before he came. What a disappointment! I called the office and left a message on their recorder. The office manager called me and scheduled their general manager Kevin to come and look at the carpet. When he came, he was surprised at how bad the carpet looked -- and not just the stains. You'd never know that the carpet had been cleaned a week ago. I'm not sure what happened b/c Taylor looked like he was working really hard when he was here. Kevin said that the carpet needed to be redone and he even offered to come and do it himself on a Saturday. Since I didn't want to spend my weekend getting the carpet re-cleaned plus having the 3 kids home, we agreed to schedule it during the following week. Assistant Manager Josh (aka T-Rex) arrived on time and ready to work on 9/7. He re-cleaned everything excluding the tile and was out of the house by 11am. He treated all of the blood stains and pet stains and everything looked great while the carpet was wet. The next morning, all of the high traffic areas and pet stains are still gone. Yeah! The blood; however, came back -- Bummer! Josh did his best and I can't ask for more than that. I think that Technician Taylor just needs more training under a seasoned professional. I am very pleased that Eco Clean responded quickly to my call and sent out an experienced technician to get the job done correctly. As a consumer, I think that it is important to give a company an opportunity to make things right if you are not satisfied with their work. Eco Clean listened to my feedback, sent their manager to investigate, then sent an experienced technician to do the work. Their response to my complaint carries a lot of weight with me, and I will be sure to give them more business in the future. P.S. Neither technician left us with shoe booties. I'll have to remember to ask for those next time. read more

I hope this review shows up. As of today, Eco Clean shows 7 reviews, mostly negative. However, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find a link to 29 "filtered reviews", and most of them are 4- and 5-star reviews. To me, at least, most of them don't sound like they were shill reviews. I think Yelp's auto-filter is being far too harsh. Anyway, let's start with the only negative thing I can say: They were a couple hours late. This however was after I needed to reschedule on short notice, and I am at the fringes of their service area. They also honored my Groupon even though it was a week expired (my fault for procrastinating). So on the whole I certainly can't complain. Rob, who I spoke to several times on the phone, was courteous and helpful in dealing with the schedule. It does seem however that they may have oversold Groupon/LivingSocial/etc deals, so they may be a bit over-committed. Albert (who performed the actual cleaning) was friendly and very helpful in explaining what he was doing. He was very flexible in defining "three rooms", as that was the amount of cleaning in my Groupon. He added on an additional hallway and stairs at a discounted rate, as well as additional cleaning steps and treatments that he recommended based on my traffic patterns and pet staining. I haven't had my carpets cleaned often, so I can't say whether they're the cheapest option around or not, but I feel like I got good value. Albert finished in a very reasonable amount of time. As of now the carpets are still definitely damp, but I wouldn't say "wet". I'll update this review if they take an unreasonable amount of time to dry, since that seems to be a common complaint. But they look excellent, and it seems as though he did a thorough job on all parts including the risers of the stairs and so on. read more

I feel like a sucker! I should have read the reviews but I didn't. I bought the Groupon, paid $49.00 for what was suppose to be a service worth up to $149.00. Of course the first thing the tech did was try to up sell me. I told him that I just wanted the regular cleaning that I paid for. I've had my carpets cleaned by lots of other companies and never had to pay extra for special "chemicals", etc. to get it clean. I had a living room/dining area and hallway, completely cleared of furniture, probably 600 SF or so. It took him about 30 minutes and when I looked at the job I was so disappointed. None of the spots came up and it really didn't look much better. He tells me that's because I need to upgrade to the "deep clean" with their miracle chemicals. I'd already taken time off work and wanted the carpets cleaned today so I I told him I'd pay the extra $60 if they could get the spots and heavy traffic areas clean. What do you know, he sprays some of his "special chemicals" and goes back over them and the spots and heavy traffic areas are fairly clean. I also mentioned how wet it was. He got all defensive and told me how good he was and that it was normal. In the 45 minutes he was there he tried shaming me, defending himself and then blaming the company owner for anything I brought up. Long story short, I paid $109 (supposed value of $209) for an easy and small job that would have cost about $60 with other companies I've used. The results were adequate but nothing special and after reading the reviews now I'm worried about how all the water that was left behind. THE OWNER, ROBERT SPIKER, THREATENED MY FAMILY!! WE HAD TO CALL THE POLICE!! There are plenty of carpet cleaners around. Don't risk your family's safety by hiring one who threatens women. People have been murdered by carpet cleaners. From San Francisco to Florida, homeowners have been brutally killed by carpet cleaners. Robert had called me to offer a free cleaning, as my neighbor recommended us for this as my family has been dealing with my husband's battle with cancer. We were driving my husband across the country when Spiker called, as he had been hospitalized in another state for five months. Spiker said to just call or text when we were home and settled. I texted several times and got no response. Finally he called a month later and inappropriately chastized me for not calling sooner, said "It's your fault it's too late! Blame yourself!" Then he falsely accused my neighbor of calling me names. When he started calling me names, I hung up. My neighbor was appalled and said she would never use them again. I texted Spiker that he had lost two customers (we can afford to pay and would have used them again if he had acted like a decent human being). Robert then called me and threatened my family, saying ominously, "Just be careful because I know where you live." I had to call the police, who called Spiker and told him to leave my family alone. We purchased a two story carpet cleaning and a tile floor cleaning from Groupon for a great price. I called to schedule the service and they were able to come out the very NEXT day - no waiting at all. Rob was fantastic to speak with and very helpful. Matt arrived on time the next morning and was great to work with as well. He was able to answer all of our questions and make recommendations based on what would be best for our floors (both the tile and the carpet). The whole thing took just over two hours and our carpets looks great! Very pleased with the service! One note: if you purchase a Groupon stairs are not included and they are $3 per stair. I was also a little surprised at how small of a surface the tile floor cleaning I purchased covered and was a little taken aback at the cost to clean a larger area (and our tiled area really isn't that big to begin with). I completely understand the products they use to clean are more expensive than traditional chemicals (something I LIKED about the company), but once I started adding everything up it still cost several hundred dollars on TOP of the Groupon price. All that said, I'm still giving this 5 stars for prompt service, excellent customer service from both Rob and Matt, a job well done and products I feel comfortable having around my small children and dog. read more

This was my first time using Eco Clean services. I did my research and they had great reviews on Nextdoor & Yelp and pricing was very competitive. They were able to schedule my carpet and tile clean in less than 1 week, which I appreciated. After a very disappointing outcome of my appt, I contacted the office to express my concerns. I am a very passive person, I respect most service trades are doing their best and are putting forth an honest effort, and I almost never complain about services unless it's truly out of bounds. I called and spoke to Carrie, who provided a very warm, understanding and apologetic response. She sent a 2nd technician out within hours of our conversation, to redo the entire service at the standard which they wanted it to get done. This technician was Terrell, and he was incredibly professional as I walked him through the issues. He listened to me and validated my concerns. He then re-cleaned my entire home, walking me through everything he was doing. Terrell was able to get my carpets completely clean, stains and all, as well as meticulously scrubbed each grout line - even in areas unseen. This company provides great customer service, and I was very impressed with Terrell's ability to make my house sparkle. I will definitely use them again! read more

I was able to make a next day appointment which was great. Booking the appt was seamless and easy. Trayvell, the carpet technician, was very professional and wore shoe covers even before stepping inside the house. Trayvell walked me through what I can expect from the carpet cleaning process and pointed out spots that might show back up since I requested the standard cleaning and not the deep cleaning. He was totally right and I should have listened and should have gotten the deep clean package instead of the standard package that I was adamant about. The carpet came out great though and the spots he pointed out are barely even noticeable. Later that day I booked another appt to clean the second story and the stairway and requested Trayvell to be the carpet technician again. I'm still blown away at how nice the carpets come out, so clean and looking like new again. Will be having them clean the carpets every 6 months from now on and definitely will opt for the deep clean package the next go around instead of the standard package I got this time. Well worth it. The owner of this company is a crook! Don't be fooled by his body language where he puts his hand on his chin and umh, uhm, well ok, this is what I'll do for you. As if he is doing you a favor. When you pay for a service you want a good service. Never will I use this company again. Robert is a scandalous individual. Upsell me sealant on my tile, but didn't even put it down. He said it came through the hose. Well sir, when did you go add it to the hose when you never left the room, Sorry not buying it, so did you clean my carpet with the sealant as well? He may think I'm stupid but the only one who is stupid is him, cause not only did you screw me you screwed yourself out of a repeat customer, I have multiple properties! Guess what Robert, yet another unsatisfied customer. If I would have read the reviews first that would have caused me to avoid this company. What a crook. Very unsatisfied. I called and spoke with Bob the owner yesterday. He answered all my questions and I had many after reading the reviews. He was polite and helpful. Today his brother called before arriving. He did a fabulous job. I highly recommend them. Bryan cleaned my whole house carpet and over 200sq.feet of tile and grout. He explained how important it is to vacuum more than once a week to keep the carpet looking fresh...my carpet is almost twenty years old and looks wonderful with only a few discoloration spots that can not be removed...because they have changed the color of the fiber. The tile and grout work...he explained the maintenance process for this almost twenty year old grout and tile.The drying process is from 4-8 hours depending on if I keep ceiling fans and floor fans going. Eco Clean provided excellent and professional customer service even though our rental management company was not satisfied with the first cleaning. WE were happy with it, however, since we were vacating the rental home, we had to have Eco Clean return to appease the property manager. Each time I called I was greeted on the phone politely and helped quickly (Thanks Sarah!). The service technician's who came to our prior rental home were great (Thanks Patrick and Josh)! They both called ahead of time to give me a more specific arrival time, explained the process, provided me with shoe covers and did thorough work in a timely manner. I have already started recommending them to family and friends and will definitely work with them again when we need our carpets cleaned! read more

These guys blew me away! I got a groupon for their services and figured "why not?" after 30 years of kids and pets my pink rugs looked like spotted grey mats that I was sure I would have to replace. After showing up EARLY (and calling first to be sure it was okay) the guys turned my sad gray rugs perfectly pink again in less than an hour! The only downside is that in order to do so they had to soak them pretty good so the dry time was considerable (6+hours) but not too bad since I could walk on them wet since they don't use chemicals. Overall I was extremely impressed with the level or customer service and the job was done better than I even thought possible. I will certainly use them again in the future! read more

OMG! I am definitely satisfied with the service I received from Eco Clean Carpet and Tile. I had Josiah Gasaway here to clean my 8 X 10 area rug and he did an outstanding job (see before and after pics below)! My rug was so dingy and Josiah was able to clean it to where it looks new again! Not only was he efficient, he was able to answer questions about other area rugs in my home so I will definitely be getting more cleaned in the future. Thank you Josiah for your great customer service, your timeliness, and your professionalism we don't see this type of service much anymore so it was very refreshing to experience that with you today. Tried this service using Groupon... I was nervous about the results These guys were Amazing!!! Scheduling was easy, tech showed on time and was very professional .... Before and after results were fantastic!! Actually went above and beyond when my dog who was leashed to my office chair upstairs decided to try and bolt out of the house... with the chair attached, literally scared the poop out of herself running down the stairs because the chair was chasing her... leaving bits out of her backend along the way The Tech, DeeAndre was amazing ... he helped me get her back in the house safely and was so professional he didn't even laugh while it was happening 10/10 recommended this place read more

I have been using EcoClean consistently for the past 5 years and every time they perform a service they always do an amazing job. My first house was a one story and they were always thorough and efficient. My second house is a two-story and they were just as thorough and efficient as they were in the smaller house, if not better! This trip out, Rudy and Andre performed the service and I was definitely pleased with the work. The carpet looks like new again and they even got out some pretty tough stains (you know, the mystery stains your kids leave around the house! Lol). I will use EcoClean every time. Highly recommend. This was the first time I used Eco Clean Carpet and Tile cleaning and I was very impressed. After making an appointment with them I received an email confirmation and reminder for the appointment. Most carpet cleaning places offer a 4 hr. Window but Eco offered a 2 hr. Window with the technician showing up within the 1st hr. My appointment was from 11am -1pm snd the techician called at 10:35 saying he would arrive in 15-20 min and he showed up exactly at 11:00. He was nice and friendly, answered all my questions and offered shoe covers to walk on the carpet while it was still wet. Since the weather is getting warmer I decided to get started early on spring cleaning and contacted Eco Clean Carpet and Tile Care for carpet cleaning services. I live in split level home with carpet on the stairs and upstairs bedrooms. Eco Clean gave me a two hour window for service and I was contacted by JD 5 minutes before the start time to inform me that he was 15 minutes away. JD was very kind and professional and completed the service within an hour. I am very satisfied with the work completed and the process from scheduling an appointment and having JD come to our home. I have used Eco Clean several times and each time has been a good experience. I called the company with a last minute issue and Robert was very accommodating to give me same day service. Josh has been the tech that I have personally dealt with and he never disappoints. He is on time, friendly, and does whatever task plus more willingly. He takes pride in his job and in making sure the customer is happy with the job. I also am impressed that this company is "paying it forward" by giving service without cost daily during February to those who are in need. This is a company that I want to support. I am shocked and a little embarrassed at how dirty our tile is after looking at the before and after photos. We don't wear shoes in our house and we are very diligent about cleaning our tile. We are the original homeowners but over the years the tile in the kitchen and specially the grout was looking pretty dark. We saw so many great reviews and we thought we had nothing to lose. We are super happy with the end results! Eco Clean and their crew, DeeAndre and Ray were early to the appointment time, and the process was very thorough and pretty quick. My floors look brand new! Needed carpets in 4 rooms clean and they were the best bang for the buck, carpets look like new and I got excellent service from Traywell and Deeandre. I let them know I'd appreciate it if they came on the early side of the time window, they gave me plenty of heads up before arriving and actually got here a little before they said they would (which I told them would be preferable if they could make it work). They were in and out faster than they said they would be too, and again, that didn't come at the cost of their quality of work. Traywell and Deeandre were awesome to work with and I will definitely be using Eco Clean again! read more

He was very nice, personable and knew exactly what to do to take care of our carpet and linoleum concerns. I felt like we were in good hands with Eraclio taking over. And after a few hours of specialized deep cleaning, the carpets came out amazingly new looking again! Even though we suspect that a prospective new home buyer will most likely change or remove the carpeting in the future, at least it helped make the interior much more appealing for interested buyers! Not only do they clean carpets and tile & grout, they also service upholstery, hardwood floors, dryer vent cleaning and water damage repairs. He was responsive and able to schedule an appointment within a few days. He even gave me a first-time discount, which was appreciated. On the day of the appointment, he had finished other jobs early and was able to come earlier than our scheduled time, which was a plus. Joseph was polite and professional, and did an excellent job cleaning the carpets. The service I received was the Professional Truck Mounted Steam Cleaning, which includes and pre-rinse and deep cleaning, using best quality products. The result was fantastic and the carpets look and feel brand new! I noticed he even got a small stain out of the living room carpet. The whole process only took about one hour. I had a great experience with Pro-Clean and would recommend them for future carpet cleaning.
