My experience with California Steamin' was wonderful, especially in terms of service, estimates, and punctuality. First of all, I didn't know that grout could be steam cleaned. I thought the only way to clean it was toothbrush and back breaking elbow grease. Thankfully, I was wrong. A call and a text was all it took. Dusty gave me a firm quote over the phone, brought his equipment and the next day, my kitchen tile looked as good as new. I was so impressed with his work that I asked him to come back and do the rest of our home (the bathrooms, the entry, the hallways, etc.) as I have a lot of tile and he needed a longer hose. Apparently, there aren't many companies that steam clean the grout on tile floors or walls and I called all that I found. I had California Steamin clean my carpets last week as a surprise for my wife. Dustin was professional and clean. I checked out the inside of his van and even IT was clean and orderly. He told me step-by-step what he was going to do and how he'd treat the nasty stains left by my incontinent dog. Dustin was fast, but thorough, finishing the treatment with a scotchguard protectant. Good thing, too, because the next day my wife knocked over a tray with a cup of coffee on it. She panicked, seeing the coffee grounds splattered across her freshly cleaned carpet, but I calmy grabbed a wet sponge and spent a few minutes blotting up the mess. The next day I couldn't even find where the spill was. So, yes, I recommend California Steamin' and Dustin Bell and may use him again to clean the grout in the bathroom tile and maybe clean seal my slate floors. read more

A Christmas miracle I say!! :) He was very informative, straight forward and promised me his estimate was not a low ball to get my business... and he was right... the price he quoted was what he charged us. They were able to come out to my property on short notice and did an absolutely amazing job! They were able to get out stains that previous carpet cleaners could not. Great find for us. We have about 1100 square feet of tile in our house, and I was looking to clean about 870 feet of it. Did a few areas myself, and it was slow, tedious, and the results were not what I was looking for. I had been thinking on this for a few months, and finally decided to get it done professionally. I've had many great experiences with CS, but this latest shows their remarkable customer service. My (bad) dogs got into chocolate protein powder in the pantry and enthusiastically ground it into my family room carpet. I tried to vacuum it up with little success. One call to Dusty and I immediately secured a next-day appointment. Chuck, my usual technician, came out and cleaned for hours. All looked great. But the next morning, when the carpet dried out...huge stains remained. I called Chuck, who returned that day and re-cleaned the carpet. He had a great attitude and genuinely wanted me to be happy. Happy me - clean carpet. Next day...same stains... Chuck and Dusty, the owner, called me. They determined that the powder had gotten into the pad and was wicking up into the carpet as it dried. Chuck came back AGAIN and used a special machine to pull all the moisture from the carpet. He spent a lot of time and left fans to dry the carpet overnight. But the protein powder made one more evil appearance. Today, Chuck came for the fourth time. Every time he has been unfailingly polite and eager to get the stains out -- almost like a personal goal! I should mention that the company has not charged me one penny more and says they are honoring their warranty. He used a dry clean technique and stayed for hours pulling all of the powder out. The carpet is totally dry now. It is spotless. There are very few companies that live up to their guarantees. California Steamin has done that and more. They will always have my business. We just had our carpets and a tile shower cleaned by Dusty with California Steamin', and I can't say enough about how pleased we are. From the very initial contact with this company, I was impressed. I tend to call quite a few places to solicit estimates and info, and California Steamin' stood out right away. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. I spoke with Dusty directly about what we needed, and he was extremely helpful and personable. Their prices were more than fair, also. Dusty arrived promptly, after calling to say he was on his way. He spent a lot of time working on our carpets and tile, and they look great. When he was done, he walked me through all that he had done, taking the time to point out areas that weren't "perfect" rather than trying to hide them. (There is only so much you can do to remove a cat urine stain that has been there for years! It's not gone, but it is greatly diminished.)
