Last night, I had the absolute BEST time at this place. I've never been to a rage room before, but I've always wanted to go. I'm so glad that my first experience was here. My fella and I made a reservation for (what was probably) their last slot, 9pm. They offer a $10 cash discount, so we opted to pay cash for our time. The guys behind the counter were super nice, very knowledgeable (we had a few questions), and explained the whole process. We went for the splatter room, so we were offered ponchos and shoe covers. I intentionally wore things I didn't care about, so I took neither - my fella took the shoe covers. Inside, the room itself is pretty bonkers. It's relatively small-ish, but the set up is really convenient and easy to navigate in. There is paint dripping from EVERY surface lol the walls are thick with it, the barrels on which the canvas sits have puddles, your shoes slightly stick to the floor. It was a totally different experience than what I was expecting, in a good way. We got to throw paint anywhere we wanted. I splattered the walls, the floor, the door, what I could reach of the ceiling, and my fella (of course). By the end of our 45 minutes, I was COVERED and glowing (as the paint was neon and we chose the black light room). I know it wasn't a rage room, but it was still really cathartic. One of the best parts was that I got to hook my phone up to their Bluetooth speaker and jam loudly to my favorite music. This was, by far, one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. My friend is visiting from CA and wanted to go to a rage room so we came! It was our first time doing something like this and I'm so glad we did because right after we both felt a weight lifted off our shoulders Upon entering we were greeted by Riley who was very personable and welcoming. We suited up in coveralls & were given a locker to lock our stuff up in We were giving 20 mins in a room which had A box of goodies for us to break with cups/Tv/beer bottles. There was 4 different items we could use to smash things. There is also chalk/marker for you to be able to write on walls. We didn't know what to expect but we had a blast Each room has a speaker that you can connect to and play any type of music you'd like we opted for my rock playlist which got us in the mood At the end we were greeted again by Riley & Ender who asked about our time & made our exit memorable. They gave us a stamp card and I cannot wait to come back. This is definitely a feel good type of therapy I'm so surprised how amazing I feel after leaving. read more

The crew was super friendly and helpful! We came w a Groupon deal for 2. They gave us coveralls first and a locker w a key to store your purse etc. Once inside we were given gloves and a full face shield. They told us we could play our own music but the speaker wasn't working even after he climbed up on a ladder to try to fix it. Silent smashing wasn't as fun as if we could have had our loud music going but oh well. There was a crate of items we could smash but 85% of it was glass, which is very satisfying but smashes so quickly. They had a dangly clip you could attach glass items to in center of room to swing at but it was loose and most items slipped out. Then there was one old computer monitor screen and two keyboards which were super hard to break. We felt they need more in between medium items and more variety in general. 3/5 stars. Not because we didn't have fun or enjoyed the actual rage room experience. We loved having the option to hook up to a Bluetooth speaker & blasting rage music! We also loved the breaking of keyboards and computer screens! Definitely a therapeutic experience. The 3 stars is only because the clerical issues. We arrived at 11:55am & had a scheduled appointment at 12 and was supposed to be out of there by 12:30. However we didn't get back there until 12:20. They let us know that they'd come let us know when there was 5 minutes left in our experience. They did & we were able to get put of their pretty quickly. Not realizing in the moment, but when we got back into our car after being all done and checked out, it was 12:45pm?? I thought I paid for 20 minutes in the room? Not sure if they were over booked that day or they just didn't want to keep to the scheduled time or what else could've been going on. I'd love to come back and try it again, as long as my $110 experience is 20 minutes in the room! read more

What a fun and rage releasing experience!!!! Went as a group of four and had a really great time breaking things. I will definitely be back, the staff was so friendly and awesome, you can hook up your own music to smash to and overall it was worth the money! I felt some definite stress released. You can bring kids as well which is even better to help them release the rage in a controlled environment. We were allowed to wear our own clothing since we had long sleeves...with the protective gear provided by them...however some of the glass got into one of our gloves so I would recommend the coveralls provided by them in order to ensure safer smashing. 20 min session doesn't seem like a lot - but it is so much time. I really wanted to give 5 stars, but I have tbh... TLDR: Booked a paint room session w/a family member bc you get more time & I didn't want to risk getting glass stuck in my rams or legs. Would definitely go back bc the paint room was a blast! The reception area: On the left side of the room- There's a couch has a tear in it & is right in front of the desk where they check you in at. In the middle of the room- There's a set of lockers that have padlocks with keys that look really old & warm out. In the right side of the room- There's a row of plastic chairs & a TV on the wall. Be prepared- There's not a lot of places to sit & it can get crowded when they're busy. For the smashing room(s)- You get to a protective jumpsuit that looks like it's been worn a lot & not washed much (eww).. For the paint room- It's a Neon/glow in the dark room with paint everywhere. You get one small tray that holds 6 cups of different color paints, 2 large brushes, several smaller brushes & 2 blank canvases. The paint room experience: After we checked in, they did offer ponchos, but we refused bc we dressed to get messy. Once we got back to the room, they told us about the room & said we could paint anything! Tip- If you don't want to use the lockers- Take a few plastic bags with you, put all your stuff in them, tie them up & take the bags with you when you go into the room. This would've been a 5 star rating- #1: If they had more space in the waiting room. #2: If they put out clean jumpsuits. read more

This place may look dingy and dark and out of sorts, the most unkempt place you've ever entered, but your childhood dreams of destructive forces within you are given a chance to come to light in a magnificent way with crow bars, bats - you name it! Some friends of ours came ready with some pent-up issues and thoroughly benefitted from broken glass, computer screens and you name it! They left the place with a reduced tension and relaxed perspective! I wasn't at all frustrated, but it did feel good to break stuff just for the heck of it. It turned out to be a great big ball of fun watching everyone, in different ways, and with different characteristics destroy, dismantle, obliterate and demolish everything in front of them. Much needed cathartic release!!! We had so much fun! They give you a jump suit and a visor to protect your eyes and skin. They also give you a huge bucket full of glassware, keyboards, vases, VHS tapes, bats, beer bottles and crowbars to just let loose! We went HAM! I have never sweat so much in my life. Had a smashing time at Simply Smashing Rage Release Room! I took my 14-year old to Simply Smashing for some quality time together. What teenager doesn't want to smash things for fun? In a controlled environment with parent permission, of course. I didn't tell him what we were doing until we got there and he seemed pretty pumped. The staff greeted us right away and checked us in. We then realized that I had made an error and our reservation was actually for the following day. The staff was super nice and was able to accomodate us that evening. They showed us a brief instructional video and went over the rules and gear. Our package was the Double Trouble which includes 2 people, minimum of 24 breakables and 2 electronics for $90. For an additional charge, you can add more items. I let my son choose and he went with a monitor. At the time of our visit, there was also a check-in offer to add a few more glass bottles. Once in the rage room, you can connect your phone to their bluetooth speaker, write stuff on the wall, then smash away. We raged for about 20-25 minutes, and it was exhilarating! The glass bottles were the most satisfying to break. However, the electronics are more bang for your buck since they have more "meat." It was so much fun, and we would definitely do it again! read more

My sister surprised us with this awesome little treat. I was a little skeptical going in (like how much fun could it be?), but it was such a blast and an awesome release! Who knew breaking and smashing things could be so much fun, for some of us even therapeutic. The staff was really friendly. I definitely recommend wearing the onesie suit they provide if you plan on raging, the rooms are small and it's just added protection. They have lockers for you to put your personal belongings in at no added cost. They give you gloves and a face shield for protection and you get to pick any or all the fun tools to rage with. In my normal life, I'm generally calm, cool, and collected. But deep inside, I am an agent of chaos. At Simply Smashing (which is a great name btw), my calm exterior vanished and the inner chaos demon came out. We rented the room for 4 people and had an amazing time. We smashed a printer into pieces with a sledgehammer. We threw beer bottles at the wall. We demolished a ceramic Santa figurine - and when a 1 inch Santa face was all that was left, we shouted Goodbye Santa and hit it with a baseball bat. We wrote things on the wall that for legal reasons I can't share in this review. My favorite part was that they have a Bluetooth speaker to bring your own jams. We made a rage playlist perfect for the occasion - "Bodies", "Killing in the Name of", "F*** the Police", "Requiem" by Mozart, and many more. The only tip I would add is beware that it gets dusty and bring your own safety glasses (they give you shields but I would have felt better with both safety glasses and shields). Next time I'm going to bring my own bottles and old electronics so we have more stuff to smash! read more

The smash room was waaaay more fun than I anticipated! My group spent almost an hour in the smash room, wrecking glass bottles, plates, an old printer and a giant flat screen tv. It was the perfect way to release some anger and frustration we've all recently experienced. I really appreciated the focus on safety here - we had to sign waivers, watch a safety video, go over safety rules with the staff, and don PPE (helmets/face shields, gloves and full body coveralls). !!!!!PRO TIP!!!!! It was more than enough time and the items included were bottles, mugs, keyboards and much more. I've been to a few rage rooms as my kids have a blast. This one is super expensive and feels rushed. In addition, they were the least safety oriented. If you have kids in the room, pick another place. You can get hit with glass (I've been hit in other places, too) or glass or shards can get tracked on your own shoes. I came here as a Walk In on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to take us right away. Friendly staff. They have a splatter room as well as a rage room. We did the rage room. Two people was about $97. It Lasted about 20 minutes. We finished a little early within about 15 minutes. You have the option to buy extra items such as bottles, TVs and other electronics if you want. You can hook up your phone and play your own music to their Bluetooth, which I really enjoyed. Fun time; but the cost of the package doesn't give you much to "smash", so you should plan on paying more to add/ include extra items to smash, if you truly want to be able to fill your time smashing actual items and not just 'resmashing' the bits of tiny pieces remaining around the room. So, come prepared with a smashing good playlist! Staff is super friendly and helpful. They were short staffed the night I was there but were still working hard and fast to help ensure everyone remained on schedule. As another option, I would highly recommend trying the glow in dark paint room. It is also a Ton of fun. You can schedule each as a lone option or schedule a double - smashing first, then paint. You and a companion can paint, or throw neon paint all over each other, the canvas, and room. This is a fun 'date night' option. Lockers are available to store your stuff. Lol They had a great time and we were the last group of the night and let us stay in there quite a long time. It is a little pricey but worth the experience. I came in shorts so I had to wear their suit. I would say to just wear long sleeves/pants so you dont have to wear that suit as it inhibits you a bit. Their basic smash bucket was plenty for a first time smasher. But you could really go bananas on smashing stuff here. Be sure to bring your phone so you can listen to whatever helps you rage. When I was leaving there was two older gals coming in. They were veterans as they were getting their punch cards and knew what to do.
