Luckily the gentlemen who came out both times were professional and SO kind. The manager at Rolf Griffin, who is incredibly nice, called me. He is calling me on September 18th to talk about what the company can do to make it right . I called to schedule a plumber around 4pm and was originally told they wouldn't have anyone available until the 8-10pm slot, which would be charged an additional $75 for an emergency appointment. (I thought "maybe I should have called the cardiologist..") We scheduled the emergency appointment slot and around 4:30pm I got a call that a plumber was available earlier than expected, so we would not be charged the additional emergency fee. Plumber arrived around 5pm and the job was completed in under an hour. He was very knowledgeable, polite, professional, and also resolved my husband's chest pain. The pricing for Roto-Rooter's services leans a bit on the higher end for plumbers in the Fort Wayne area, however Roto-Rooter is the only company offering a warranty for their services; we are happy to pay a little more to have that peace of mind!

A week later, I called again, left a message stating they had 10 days to fix the patio or I was going to have it repaired myself and send Summer's the bill. The plumbing manager, David called me back stating the patio would be framed on Thursday and cement poured on Friday OR the whole thing would be done on Friday. Thursday came, nobody showed. Friday, two men showed up stating they would frame it that day and come back, "Sometime next week to finish it. I said, "NO it will be done today as promised" as I had scheduled someone to plant grass the following Monday." After one worker trying to wiggle out of it, I insisted the cement would be poured that day. The cement was poured but on Sunday when I was told I could take the frame off, I saw they only poured 1.5" of concrete on a 4" slab!! This isn't even up to code and the work was sloppy! This serves no value to me as I am now going to have to have this fixed by someone who actually takes pride in their work and knows what they are doing. I would give zero stars here if I could but I don't have that option.
