This park contains wonderful play equipment (swings, obstacle courses, etc...) for the children. On the other side is a very nice large gazebo area that has lots of table benches complete with three built in charcoal grills for groups, families, and individuals to have picnics or BBQs on/at. Also, there is a nice little wooden seating area just a little bit aways from the BBQ/picnic area. You can also walk a little further down from that area and go onto a little wooden secured platform the hangs just right over the Chattahoochee Lake to see the lake and all it's beauty. There is also a wonderful nature trail that you can walk on with or without a pooch companion to see the beautiful wooded area and all of the beautiful trees there. I absolutely love this park. I cannot comment on the bathroom that they have on and right next to their parking lot as I have never been inside of it. The parking lot is not large, but is pretty decent. These side trails were nicely shaded and eventually leads back on the main path. The historic farm structures like the main house, farmhouse, side house and its outhouse are still erect. That's the charm of this place with the well groomed flower garden that someone upkeeps. The old and new altogether. As you wander the park, you forget you're in the heart of Duluth where shopping and restaurants galore await you. Because while you're talking around (and trying not to sweat to death during the summer), you'll hear the summer insects buzzing. It literally reminded me of my childhood during the summers hearing the loud insects buzz away.

Tucked right at the…read morecorners of Roswell, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek is this spacious park with access to the Chattahoochee River, a bunch of little trails, and even a little bit of history. I read some of the info posted along the paths near the fountains and learned that Roswell actually used to be part of Cobb County. I had no idea and found that really interesting having just moved here to Georgia earlier in the year. They had some other facts about the area and history on that part of the river too. What was great about this park was that it was pretty dead on a weekday morning. A lot of other parks are usually busy at this time, since we are still going thru the pandemic of course. I think we only saw one other person on the trail (with plenty of room to distance) and one other person parked in a car off to the side of the trail. We enjoyed the seclusion. I liked everything about the park - the gazebo and fountain area, the view of the river down the trail, the historical value, etc. Just a nice place to exercise or go to relax. Lillian Webb Park is 5 acres and a city park that has an interactive splash pad and volleyball courts. It's like I walked into a storybook or something, the park is beautifully landscaped and the central focus is a waterfall. There are so many beautiful things that are Instagram worthy. It was a beautiful with clear skies but surprisingly the park wasn't crowded. Its opened from 8 to 10 Monday to Sunday. The park has an open green space perfect for a game of catch or an outdoor lunch on a blanket. You can also find lots of benches on each level of the park, a gazebo and 6 swinging benches. If you decide to drive you'll have access to two parking lots. You also have access to several restaurants that are within walking distance.

The gardens are in beautiful, stone, raised beds and are rented yearly by community members. Community members tend to their own gardens, as well as the common spaces throughout the year. A number of events are held in the garden for the community, including cooking demonstrations (using the garden's cleaning station, grill, and green egg), gardening lessons, and celebrations. The garden includes a children's garden, where kids can enjoy digging in the dirt, too. This is a beautiful spot for frequent visits, as the gardens frequently change throughout the year.

That said, the course could really benefit from clearer signage. Several pads weren't well marked, and we even had to skip a hole because we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. Since we only had time to play about half the course, we found ourselves spending more minutes navigating than throwing. I can't imagine how tough it must be in the summer when everything is fully leafed out -- it's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Still, it's a solid course in a great park, and with better markings it could easily be a five‑star experience.

I had no idea this was an annual thing and am happy that the city of Dunwoody does this and am definitely looking forward to next year's lights. While there were a ton of people, there was plenty of parking and I appreciated that there was an officer there to keep the flow of cars moving along. The park itself had several playgrounds and I loved they were padded. The kids had a blast on slides, swings and running around in the wide open space. The bathrooms were clean which always makes things even better. The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids and this is definitely a playground I'd come back to visit.
