0 Stars!!! BEWARE!! I had CANCER and they did not notify me. Worst medical office in all of SCV! I met Dr. Tebi early 2021 after my UCLA Endo would not biopsy a suspicious nodule on my thyroid (due to size). Dr. Tebi said he would do the biopsy as he uses ultrasound in office to perform biopsy's. We scheduled the test for a couple weeks later and I went in, had the biopsy and he said I'd hear from them in a week or so. After waiting approx 10 days, I called the office to follow up. I got the voicemail. I left a detailed message. I did not hear anything, nor did I receive any correspondence in the mail for another 2 weeks. I called again and once again I left a detailed message. I waited another couple of weeks (after hearing nothing) and once again I left a message saying "I hope my results are negative because no one has gotten back to me". I tried for several months to get a human on the phone to no avail. I left countless messages on their worthless message system. In December of 2021 I received a bill from Dr. Tebi's office so I immediately called them. It was late in the day and to my surprise someone answered. I explained to the receptionist what had happened earlier in the year and how no one ever notified me of my biopsy results. She pulled my file and saw my result there and said she would send it over to me and she did. To my absolute shock my result was positive for Thyroid cancer. I called back to the office shortly after and demand to speak to Dr. Tebi directly. We did speak that day and he had 1 million excuses as to why this happened and it was obvious he was mostly worried about covering his own ass. I had to endure a complete thyroid removal 3 days before Christmas. Bottom line I would NOT recommend Dr. Tebi or his office and would advise anyone considering him to beware. If they'll let cancer fall through the cracks, what else would they mess up on? You could have cancer and they don't bother to let you know! This was my first time going to this practice and I don't usually stop to write a review,however I felt the need to do one today.... .they had Covid protocol in place and the young ladies at the front were pleasant, respectful and professional. The office request that one person at a time be in the waiting area and so they had seats outside the small office as well. My wait was not long about 5 to 10 mins . I never get upset at a Doctors office if I have to wait because I want my doctor to take time with me, ensuring that my concerns are addressed, so I extend the same courtesy to the person ahead of me. Dr Tebi entered the examination room and immediately put me at ease. He has a calming bedside manner. He listened intently to my symptoms took notes and asked the right qualifying questions. He is knowledgeable and professional. I believe I have found my Endocrinologist. read more

im not big on leaving reviews, but my experience with this office has been so incredibly exhausting. i havent had my medication in over a month because this doctor doesn't want to do his damn job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]ive been going back and forth with his office and medical and both are telling me completely different things.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the office was telling us that the reason the medicine approval is taking so long is because the insurance is lagging. that was not true, it was because the doctor hadn't done something on his end. recently, my medication got denied and the office told us that they didnt know why and they would have to wait another month to request the prescription. that was two more lies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i called medi-cal, who told us that the reason for the denial was faxed to the doctor, and that they dont have to wait another month to get the medication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] this is absolutely ridiculous and this doctor shows lack of care for his patients. looking at the recent reviews, it's obvious his level of care is garbage. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

As much I like dr Tebi himself I am so frustrated by the staff, they are so unprofessional and careless. First, they don't answer phones I mean never, you can call any time of the day it doesn't matter they just don't answer phones, they ask you in the message for faster response text and they don't reply to your text either, my pharmacy has been trying to reach them for almost a month they don't return their call, my insurance has send them a form to complete so I can get my blood sugar measured that way I don't have to poke myself 20 times a day almost a month ago they haven't sent that back either, I just don't understand, how could that be a case in a medical office, where is the compassion and professionalism? I am in so much stress and anxiety because of the way these people are treating me. The dr prescribed a wrong medication and I can't take that because I get a lot of pain in my stomach and I have called so many times, I texted them a few times and they have not call me back, I wonder how would they feel if they were in my shoes. Been going here for almost 2 years now. The staff here is very sweet. Although there's usually a hold on the phone since they're pretty busy, all my requested paperwork is emailed promptly. Called a bunch of times to have my bloodwork emailed, clearances sent to doctors etc. Dr. Tebi is very knowledgeable and referred me to another doctor that i'm about to have surgery with. He answers my many questions I have during the time i'm there and gives me recommendations. Even coming from Woodland Hills, i'm glad that it's worth the drive each appt. read more

I WAS a patient of Dr.Tebi and I will say he was great when I actually dealt with him however his staff is absolutely horrible! The final straw was my last phone appointment that I sat by my phone only to be told they "called" and I didn't answer which is a lie! I'd even called an hour after they missed the scheduled appointment only to leave another unreturned voicemail!!! Also EVERY TIME I needed a refill on a prescription it took at least a week or more of calling and his office never answers or returned a message....EVER! Go ahead and try to call the office now and see for yourself how unprofessional they are so please see for yourself but I'd avoid this facility like the plague! Definitely not worth the aggravation and disappointment!!! Now seeing Dr.Day at UCLA in SCV and couldn't be happier so at least there was one positive result of dealing with his staff....it forced me to find a competent facility that takes care of their patients! I had two telehealth appointments scheduled for this Dr. Sina Tebi Located in Newhall California. 9-17-2021 @ 4pm and 9-27-2021 @ 5:45 pm. The Dr DID NOT CALL for these appointments. I called the office to complain and all they said was we can schedule you for another telehealth appointment???? FOR WHAT, SO I CAN NOT GET A CALL AGAIN??? They said, it looks like he did call and leave a voicemail at 7 PM Last night... MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 5:45 PM NOT 7 PM... This place is unprofessional and unorganized. I like Dr. Tebi however...the wait time from your appointment to actually being seen is about 1 1/2 hours. I have other places to be and I take off work just to wait in the waiting room. This to me is unacceptable. So by the time I see dr Tebi, he is so rushed that he's actually walking out of the room while I'm still trying to ask questions. The front office is the one who suggest the appointment times for me. So why are there 7 other people in the waiting room, not to mention the other 7 people in the hallway, that hathe same appointment time. Is my time not valuable? Dr Tebi goes over your test results so fast that it is hard to take it all in and he doesn't leave room for you to ask questions. I've been going here for a year and have never been more dismissed by any doctor. I will be looking for a new endocrinologist! read more

I am a 26 year old Diabetic and I have never been so disappointed with a doctors office. I was referred to Dr. Tebi by Medi-Cal and can never seem to get an appointment. The office NEVER answers the phone and NEVER returns voicemails. Iv left over 5 voicemails that were never returned. Pretty frustrating as being adiabetic I have to see my doctor just to get my insulin. Very disappointed. read more

Even if he's a great MD, it's not worth seeing Dr. Tebi because his office is so incompetent, a year later, I'm spending hours trying to fix errors his office made in how they billed my 2022 visits. They screwed it up so badly, they're now billing my new health insurance company. Since my current insurer rejected payment (of course) the bill will be passed on to me, which would be illegal since I was covered in 2022 - just by a different insurer whose information they obviously have. The visits were literally pre-authorized. I have called the office over a dozen times over three days but you can't get through to a human being - and though I left messages, no one has called me back. Currently talking to the insurance company I was with when I saw Dr. Tebi so they can help - investing MY time because of THEIR incompetence. It gets worse...In addition, the billing department misspelled my name on TWO out of TWO authorization requests for service Dr. Tebi referred me for in 2022 so I had to spend hours calling those providers to correct their mistakes. As for Dr. Tebi, he may be a competent doctor but having had only two Telehealth appointments with him, for which he was late and which mostly consisted of his searching for, then reading the records or test results which he could have perused in advance. In fact, before our first appointment, his office asked I send years of my records, which took hours to scan and label and send, but on our first phone call, he hadn't seen them and couldn't find them so I had to resend. In all, we barely had any real exchange. I barely got answers to my questions. Just a rushed generic prognosis. So I didn't have enough contact with him to really weigh in. read more

I met Dr Tebi while being hospitalized at Holy Cross. During my stay, he had goals for me to get better and be discharged quickly. After I left I pushed for my insurance to approve his practice. Since day one my A1C dropped from 13 points to 6.6 A1C. (YES MY A1C WAS UP TO 13 POINTS!!) I HAD NO HOPE PRIOR TO MEETING HIM. I am truly blessed to be under his care. His goal for me now is to reverse my diabetes. I am no longer taking insulin. Just one shot per week. Soon to be down to one pill. I highly recommend this man full of knowledge and as sweet as they come. read more

I have been looking for a new Endocrinologist. The first visit was ok. Dr. Tebi listened and is very knowledgeable and ordered a new blood panel to see what is going on but seemed to rush out and end of the visit. Second visit was better, going over the results. 3rd visit is yet to come. But yesterday I received my EOB from my insurance for the first visit and I saw they charged $450 for the office visit. Outrageous. Insurance paid half of it so I have to pay over $200, just for the first visit plus the lab work bills. I will call the office and find out if that is truly what they charge for an office visit, if so, I won't be back. Who can afford paying that every 3ms for the visits to monitor your hormone levels? It has been hard getting through when you call, but if something changes regarding the fees for the better I will update my review. read more

I was unfortunately diagnosed with autoimmune disease a little over six months ago and Dr. Tebi has been nothing but helpful and understanding. I have a lot of questions regarding my disease and Dr. Tebi always takes the time to listen and thoughtfully answer all of my them. He also gave me real-life suggestions on how I can feel better aside from the prescription medication I unfortunately have to be on now. I am very glad I found Dr. Tebi because autoimmune disease can be very scary, unpredictable and overwhelming at times, but he makes it manageable. read more

Dr. Tebi came highly recommended by one of my Emergency Room Nurse friends. I found him kind, gentle and very competent. His office staff was friends and really tried to accommodate to me schedule. His office is cozy and intimate. If your needs are urgent, let the staff know and they'll put you at the top of their list. Dr does not listen to his patients, he is too concerned with being correct to stop and listen to serious conditions that could be happening. He told me medication I am on is "fake medicine". He told me he didn't want me to see my own readings of blood glucose because it doesn't matter. He has serious control issues. He also had an appointment scheduled with me at 5:15 and did not call until 7pm- and I could not answer. I got a call to reschedule because "I didn't show up". No thank you, I will take my business elsewhere. I do not work for drs, they are a part of my team to get healthy. Long story short, I had a phone appointment set up with dr tebi (which he NEVER calls on time, EVER) spent all day waiting by the phone, left several messages but days later, still nothing. What kind of practice is this?! I've questioned his incompetence before so I decided to get a second opinion. I've been off my meds for some time now and I feel better than I have since being on them! Looking at my blood work they said that I've been heavily over-medicated! I saw dr tebi a couple months ago and he was telling me that he thinks I have yet ANOTHER autoimmune disease... most likely, the appointment he missed he would've prescribed me even more medication! I'm taking it as fate or a sign to get the hell out of there. He's obviously all about the money... more prescriptions out - more money in his pocket. Dr. Tebi saved my life. I cannot thank him enough. I was diagnosed with premature idiopathic osteoporosis at 29 years old. I went to endocrinologists who wanted me to be on daily injections and he explained that it is better to work on building bone density through exercise, increasing calcium in my daily diet and supplements. He was very thorough and patient when answering my questions. He always had a great example to explain his advice and they made sense to me. Thankfully, one year later my dexa scan improved by 6.5%, and I have almost reached osteopenia, due to mostly hard work of exercise, weight bearing exercises, hiking and walking, etc, I am forever grateful for his guidance and care. read more

I saw Dr. Tebi for my thyroid issue, he is a very knowledgeable and approachable doctor. He spent a lot of time making sure that I understand the treatment. He treats you as a whole person not just as a number. I also did not have a health insurance at a time and he was sensitive to manage the tests ordered to optimize the care and minimize the expense.
