I had been seeing Dr. Adi since I was 28 weeks pregnant. I can say her and her staff truly care about their patients. I always felt welcomed when coming into the practice. They are very caring, attentive and informative. I saw a few negative reviews before going here about the wait time. Once you get a feel of this office you will be more comfortable each visit. Will you wait? Yes, every office has wait times. I've gotten seen within 20min and other times 40 but that's normal when you're seeing a specialist. Patience is key and getting frustrated will just hinder your experience. From day one the techs I've seen have been great and are the true right hand of Dr. Adi Abramovici (female). I've had nothing short of a beautiful experience every single visit! Maybe my opinion coming here is based on how well my high risk pregnancy is going or just my easy going personality? Either way this Dr. is an absolute gem and I love seeing her! I mostly see the techs which is good because that means my baby and I are doing great but if she's filling in doing ultrasounds then it's a treat to chat it up a bit with her. The front desk may take some warming up to if you have a stand-off ish personality but I personally have a very good relationship with them all! I walk in and it's like we have been friends for a while, totally love joking around with them, esp Tash! Wow, reading these reviews are crazy. I have been here about 5 times and I think they are great. The staff is pleasant, the receptionist that book appointments always ask what time is best for me and always smile, the wait time is very decent and at times I get called in within mins. The techs are so nice, they joke with me all the time and make me feel at ease. The doctors are nice and answer all questions. I guess its the energy you bring in that reflects your appt. People use yelp to complain but should also use it to compliment. Only negative thing I have to say is the reminders come in too late but if you're on your Ps and Qs that should not be an issue. read more

The reviews speak for themselves. I've been to the office three times thus far. The first time I got through pretty quickly, the second time I waited a while but that wasn't the fault of the staff. Internet was down and they had to wait for it to be fixed. I'm generally okay with waiting at doctors offices because that's what I've come to expect. However, what I am not okay with is rudeness, especially unprovoked. I tried to reschedule my third appointment because I had another obligation, the receptionist told me not to reschedule but to come in 15 mins earlier and they would get me out in time. When it was a few mins before the time I needed to leave by, I asked the receptionist how much longer, she was short, but not rude and said someone had my chart and would see me soon. At that point i knew I wouldn't make my next engagement but there was nothing to do. As I turned to to back to my seat I overheard Tasha, who I'm assuming is the medical assistant, say "we just opened" as if it was so ridiculous of me to inquire when I would be seen. Mind you, even though I had come earlier as instructed it was now about 35 mins past my appointment time. Not only did it not end there, but when my tech came to get me, I heard Tasha saying "patients needs to come at their appointment time, not early", i walked into my room so i don't know if anything else was said. After my ultrasound I tried to explain to her that I didn't just show up early and expect to be seen early. I was told to come earlier. She very rudely told me that I don't know what she was talking about and that I made an assumption, this was after she very rudely asked me "who I was" . All I have to say is wow! As a businessowner/manager she is not someone I would want at my establishment much less interacting with patients. I would've even understood if i was rude to the receptionist, but I wasn't and I wasn't even speaking to Tasha in the first place. She wasn't apologetic when i explained why I came earlier and continued to be rude. I'll continue to come here through my pregnancy because i can't be bothered to switch and to be honest I really like the rest of the staff especially the tech, but I would not recommend this place to anyone else and I will be sure to let my OB know that maybe referring another office will be a more pleasant experience for her patients. read more

Hate this place!!! 1. Waiting Room is tiny and cramped with no seating. Nasty ass ratchet people with no respect all around you. 2. They book your appointment at what ever time is convenient for them. Doesn't matter what your schedule is. You gotta fit in where they fit you in. 3. Once you get there bank on having to wait at least 1 hour or more. We have been coming here since week 5 of my wife's pregnancy and it's the same thing every time. 4. Receptionist arnt very friendly. Ugh! I hate places that take advantage of you while you are in a vulnerable state. Add perinatal places to your list behind evil mechanics, greedy plumbers and the like. My issues with this place are numeorous. Sighing... Where to begin? 1) directions/address. Suprisingly if you input the address into your gps/navigation, you could end up in another end of the vast plantation hospital parking lot, at a building that has the exact address written across the building. 2) the waiting room. This is the only place I know that you could have the first appointment and fifteen people are already waiting. Guess what? There aren't even 15 chairs in the waiting room! Compound that with the fact that most are very pregnant. This is my second visit here and same issues both times. 3) scheduling. Ever hear of a dr's office that doesn't let you schedule a time that is convenient for you? This is it. I was TOLD my appt was at noon on a Thursday. Thursday's at noon is the one day I HAVE to pick up my child from school at 12.30 in northeast Fort Lauderdale (this office is in plantation). I called and tried to reschedule, come in earlier/later/anything- they would not budge! I talked to different people; I explained my situation, and was told to just take my child out of school that day and bring him with me. (What type of professional advocates forcing a child to skip school?). After exploring all my options, I ended up picking up my child slightly early and brought him with me. You would think I circumvented that issue, except.... 4) no children policy at this office. Yes, that's right. When you walk into the office there is a very visible, bright orange sign that says, "...NO CHILDREN ALLOWED UNDER THE AGE OF 10". Seriously?! They told me to bring my child!!! 5) ATTITUDE from the technician. AND LIES! Normally I give people the benefit of the doubt but this woman is just a horrible human being who preys on pregnant people, telling them lies for her own $\*{?\£ amusement. SICK HUMAN BEINGS! I absolutely love this office!! I wouldn't go anywhere else, they are attentive,prompt and thorough. I have full confidence in them, the doctors answers any questions I have, and provides explanations about relevant medical information. Everyone is so caring and professional they will give you the greatest care and attention. Wonderful bedside manner and very patient. Doesn't rush you out the room or get annoyed with your questions. I came to this office monthly and then weekly throughout my pregnancy and had a very positive experience. I found the ultrasound technicians to be very efficient and friendly, they took their time with me and explained what they were looking at and for. The front desk ladies were always very friendly even first thing in the morning. Both Doctors are fantastic, very smart, caring, and available. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Our appointment was at 1pm, and two hours later we were still waiting. The receptionist kept giving us a vague response as to when we would be seen, and people were being taken ahead of us constantly. My wife would have walked out if she could but since we already invested the time, we waited it out. The waiting room was dingy and the chairs have lost their cushion and spring. The exam rooms are old, and the exam table/chair had rips in the fabric, showing years of use. Of course as soon as we were taken back to wait again for the doctor, the people that arrived after my two hour wait were being called back after only 10 minutes. Have been to this place because my OB sends me here for ultrasound. Horrible place, always late and long wait even if you have first appointment. We had a 8.30 appointment and they call us in at 9.30. we had a 9.30am appt and they didn't call us in until 11am. And the explanation we get is, sometimes there are high risk patients before our appointment and they can't predict how long it will take in ultrasound. Also, regarding payment, we paid at every visit and then my health insurance covered it. Now I'm waiting for a refund from them for the past 1 month. They don't refund unless you follow up. I wish my OB sends me to some other place for ultrasounds. Wouldn't have chose this place if it's up to me. read more

Last week was my second appointment at this doctor's office. Everybody are great here accept receptionist, who is extremely rude. I'm self paid patient and every time I make my appointment there, they don't write me on their schedule, which by the way very full. One hour drive from the place I live, being there on time, paid $400 for my visit, but 30-40 min wait because receptionist tells me, I wasn't even scheduled for today, when I called one week in advance and was confirmed. They take payments faster, than they allow you to see the doctor! Is that sort of conspiracy against self paid patients? Is anybody else had the same situation? read more

RIDICULOUS wait time. Arrive to appointment early with hopes that "maybe" my wait time won't take as long, nope! I walk in to a full office, not one seat available. Not one kind gentlemen to give up their seat either to the visibly pregnant women, who now have to stand. There is a sign that says no children allowed, well these baby dads shouldn't be allowed either because they take up available seats, that us pregnant women need. Especially the ones with stitches or on bed rest and should NOT be standing. Over 2 hours later and still 18 people ahead of me. What is the point of even having an appointment? I feel like coming here is a punishment, as if I'm doing some type of chore to wait this long to be seen. I get if I was waiting at an urgent care, a hospital or any place that takes walk ins, but this appointment was scheduled 2 weeks in advance with an actual time. Get it together people! I would give this NO stars but it won't allow me. The staff is nasty and rude. The wait was an and a half, the waiting room was full of screaming babies and not even one chair was left open. Why should a pregnant woman have to stand in a dirty waiting room for that long? The ultrasound technician was beyond rude and clearly hates her job, herself and her life. I called to check if there was any way I can make it a little later in the day for my appointment and spoke to a lady named Tasha. She seemed bothered by me asking and said she would need to check for a cancellation which took her a second to say no we have nothing available with an attitude. My husband is not able to go to the appointment and we would like to get a dvd with the sonogram and pictures but this office does not provide you with an option to purchase a dvd. I would not even bother going to this location. First, because the lady I spoke to was rude and just straight up cold. Second, because there is no option to purchase a dvd which most places provide for you. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Worst place ever. I had an appointment at 1:30pm. It's almost 4pm and I'm still sitting here. I will never come here again.

I probably would not refer even my worst enemy to this place. I had the displeasure of becoming a patient at this place and it was one of the worst experiences on my life. I was told by them at about 16 weeks along that my baby had heart issues which needed to be followed closely; I was told my baby probably had a fatal genetic condition and that my best option would be an abortion. The Dr. was very blunt and very rude about his recommendation for this and kind of confronted me on not having an abortion; instead of offering me other options. I decided to do amniocentesis to make sure my daughter didn't have the fatal genetic condition they told me she more than likely had (which she did not) The dr. refused to do the amniocentesis because they were having trouble with my insurance and he told me I didn't look like someone who could afford to pay for this type of procedure out of pocket and he wasn't willing to go into collections because of me! I can't even begin to imagine all of the abortions that happened because of this doctor's harsh scare tactics. Up until 24 weeks of pregnancy they reminded me at every appointment I could have an abortion and when I confronted them about it they told me they asked every week for insurance purposes. The staff isn't very friendly and they all seem pretty miserable. Look at me now 7 months after delivery with a healthy, happy, baby girl!! read more

I come here twice a week for monitoring. The tech i see is Rebecca. She is always pleasant and easy to talk to about what is going on. The Dr's there I didn't Know much about but as soon as i found out there was a possible issue, there they both were. Always caring and courteous and go out of their way to make you comfortable and inform you of everything. I would use them again. Yes, the waits can be outrageous, but I found that going early in the morning it is better. I'm usually out within an hour and sometimes less than 30. read more

With an appointment the wait time was an hour long, front desk staff is not friendly and Dr. Dorel Abramovici saw me for about a minute. I felt rushed and like dr. could care less. The picture from your ultrasound are very bad quality and they only allow you to have two pictures of the baby. Rude people and not to mention waiting over 2 hours after my scheduled appointment and that was after arriving 25 mins before my scheduled time.
